Chapter 11

We both chatted with eachother about our powers until the late afternoon. Mostly about her powers though, since i was very intrigued by it. What shocked me the most that she didn't even realised that her powers will come in handy in the cases of interrogating someone until I pointed it out. Her reaction was hilarious. What a dork.

Around four pm, both of our stomach growled loudly in hunger. I stared at her while she looked like she was having an inner debate about laughing in this situation or coughing it away. That made me snort so badly that I choked.

With tears in her eyes she slowly calms down from her laughing fit that she got from my unfortunate condition.
I frowned at her while pouting. Her eyes widen at my expression.

“Okay okay! I'm sorry! Wanna grab a bite since we both are starving?" the glint in her eyes that matched her cheeky smile wiped away my pout, replacing it with a smile.

“Yeah... But first i want to do something." I tell her with a determination in my mind. Rie saw my seriousness and nods her head, getting up along with me.

“Follow me" As soon as I told her I took of running in a full speed that my human body can. This speed definitely isn’t as fast as vampires but it definitely is way faster then ordinary human speed.

In a few minutes, I reached my destination and halted my steps with Rie right behind me mimicking my action.

“What are we doing here?" Rie voices out her confusion while she looks around the area and the small house in our front that's fimilier to me.

“Stay here." I ordered her and walk over the small lawn, going behind the house into the backyard. Looking up I saw the window that belongs to leona's room.

I took a deep breathe as i step back a few steps before running in a fast speed and pushing of the ground. I grip around the frame of the window as i land over it.

I look around the room, a longing feeling in my chest making me feel sad. Shaking my head as i return my focus on the task in hand, I look around a few more times as i listen carefully and come up with the conclusion that nobody is home. Leona Isn't back yet.

I lick my dry lips while I reach out my hand to open the window. Locked. I sigh, half disappointed and half in pride that she Isn't careless. Not that I'd mind that. But i would rather have her safe and sound.

Shrugging my shoulders in the fail attempt to open the window, I decided to use my power. In a zap I'm standing inside leona's room, her scent filling me in. I walk towards her desk beside the window and teleport my unused cute looking notebook and one of my favorite Kuromi cute gel pen. I click the gel pel out, removing the protection rubber off its lid. Opening the first page of the notebook, I start writing.

My dear sweetness,

I'm sorry for dropping a bomb over you and walking out. I just want my feelings to be clear to you as well as yours. The last thing I want is for them to burden you. If you feel like you want to do nothing with me, It's okay. But if you want something from me, anything, or even just want to figure out what you want, contact me. I'll help you figure it out. We'll go through this together. I promise. I want your love, my angel. But I want your happiness more then anything.

I click the pen off as I finish writing. I put it over the first page and as i was about to close the notebook, an idea popped up.

I open my palm as my favorite rose red lipstick zapped over it. I open the lid and apply some on my lips. I zapped it back to where it belong and picked up the notebook while putting the pen on the desk.
