Chapter 7

I shake my head to get rid of the dizziness I'm feeling. After starting to feel better I finally took a notice to my surroundings.

I was lying on leona's stomach.

So soft and fluffy.

I shake my head and scold myself for thinking this in such a time.

I look behind me and notice leona's crushed car not very far away from us. Though we were unnoticeable cause of bushes in the sideways of the road. The truck that almost hit us was gone.

Fucking coward!

I grit my teeth in anger as i let Out a growl. My mate could've died if i hadn’t teleported us in time!

I will find you. You Won't escape me.

I snapped out of my murderous fantasy when i heard leona groaning.

I climbed down from her quickly as I turned back in my original human form and teleport my bag in front of me and my clothes on my body. I crunch down beside leona's head and putting it softly on my lap.

“Leona....open your eyes for me....” i whisper softly like a child in fear of not getting his requested wish granted.

Leona's eyes fluttered open, slowly, with confusion and pain. I grimaced. I'm sorry babe, i should've made the landing better. Her eyes falls on my face before anything else, as if i was the only thing in this damn world.

“Hey....” I whisper again, “Are you okay?...are you hurt anywhere? Let's take you to the hospital. For all i know you could be seriously-”

“W-wait wait... Stop....” she groans up as she sits up while i support her weight. “What happened?.... I-” she hesitates before a realisation came on her features, her skin getting pale. “I-... We got hit....a truck and-” she gasps as she looks around frantically. “Where is she!? The kitten... Is she-” I grab her face to keep her steady as i bring my face close to her, “ Calm down, Leona....okay? Breathe... Yes that's it... Good girl....” I smile proudly as i watch her successfully getting a hold on herself as i continued, “When i saw you, it was only you and no one else. I'm sure she survived and ran away, probably got scared.” I assured her and almost purred in delight as a lonely look comes over her....she misses me...but if she keeps making that face I'll lose control and turn a kitty right here.

I suddenly remember something and grin as i found an idea...“By the way....i never knew You're a cat person?” i smile in victory as my question wipes the look off her face as she quickly hisses out “ I Don't love anything! Even if i do It's none of your business! And why does it have to be you finding me!? ”

I Couldn't control the laugh that escaped from my lips. “Glad to see that You're fine. Being all cute.” I grin teasing her. I give a disbelieved look as i watch her cheeks turn red. All though she looks in disbelief herself that i called her that.

I clear my throat, gulping my urge to kiss her as i stand up and hold out my hand for her to take. She shows hesitant at first but gives in, probably too exhausted to argue.

Her hand feels kind of cold. I take both of her hands and cup them over my mouth. I blow warm air on them, my lips occasionally grazing her fingers. I Don't look up to see her reaction, mostly out of fear of rejection.

After i feel satisfied enough with the current warmth of her hands, I put them Down slowly and turn around.

“Spend the night with me.” I breath out.

“What!?” i hear her hiss behind me. “Are you kidding me? And i was the one who almost got hit by a freaking truck!” she exploded in disbelief, probably thinking that I've lost my marbles.
