Both Amyra and Christine came back from their vacation. They both were grinning ear to ear about everything that happened. Both of them have never ever been this happier in their life. Most of their childhood was spent under pressure and struggle. But they never complained because that is life. It is full of hardships and repetitive struggles but it feels less when you have someone by your side. Someone who roots for you and will love you no matter what.

" I swear to god Amy I love him so fucking much. I can't talk about him or describe him because I am so much in love " said Christine with a shy smile.

" I can relate bestie. Alex is everything a woman wants " said Amyra.

" Wait wait," said Amyra

" What ?" Asked Christine.

" Did you guys do it ?" Asked Amyra

" Ummm....maybe..." Said Christine

" Stop fooling around Christi and spill the beans," said Amyra

" Ok yeah, we did! And trust me it was the most intimate and special moment of my life. He was staring at me the whole time and I couldn't even break the eye contact." Said Christine.

" You know Christi," said Amyra

" You know how we were during high school? We were literally cynical about the word love. We never understood what it was until now. Right now they are not here and you can fucking feel it inside your heart" added, Amyra.

" Now that you are saying it, I'm missing him more," said Christine

" We are literally going to meet them today in the office itself," said Amyra with a laugh.

" Speaking of the office, what's the time ?" Asked Christine

" 8:30," said Amyra a bit confused, and then realized and started running around.

But little did Christine know that Amyra secretly planned something unexpected. As Christine was rushing towards the door she saw a car similar to that of Christian. After a few seconds, she fell from the sky to find he got down and opened the door for her mom. She didn't know how to or what to say exactly.

Christine's pov:

Is this my mom, is this Christian or Am I dreaming?

She ran inside, she saw Amyra giggling at her expression.

"Did you..." Christine couldn't finish her sentence when they both walked it and her mom hugged her from behind. She turned to face her and him.

"How could you hide this from me?" she asked with happy tears in her eyes. Christine was too stunned to speak, Christian had subtle expressions on him looking at her soon-to-be-fiancee.

"Thanks to Amyra, if she didn't tell me about this relationship you were hiding from me, I would have never known," said her mother.

Amyra was just standing there admiring the entire conversation ofcourse she didn't meet her mother for some reason or whatever but after all, it was her mother, her family. Christian finally broke in... "Umm, shall we sit and carry  this conversation we are actually blocking the alley"

"Yes yes ofcourse," her mom said.

Christine turned around to face Amyra, she mouthed 'You're welcome' to Christine, and smiled at Christian. Christian pulled the chairs for Christine, her mom, and Amyra too. Christine and her mother were sitting at the side of each other after so many years at the table, Christian took a seat beside Christine. Christine couldn't stop grinning from time to time, her mom and she were talking about pretty much everything and also how they met and everything. Her insides were bursting out with joy and happiness. Amyra gave a small smile to Christian and excused herself for a minute.

"Yes Alex, yes it went out well. Thank you so much for helping me out, my love. "She was over to her phone. She was outside the restaurant on the pavement.

"Anything for you my little munchkadee" Alex whispered near Amyra's ear, giving her a jumpscare.

"Oh, Jesus! you scared me!" she hugged him and then continued "Just look at them, looking so happy together. I missed her homie smile." Alex smiled, looking at Amyra and also at them. "Yeah! it's so wholeheartedly beautiful, I also have never seen Christian happy in a long time" he has her strong arm around her waist... they were busy in the moments when...

"Mm-hmm" Amyra's mother coughed from behind looking at them smiling from ear to ear, "Forgotten me? Where is my hug!?"

"Oh, mumma!" Amyra turned around and went in for a hug detaching herself from Alex. Alex stood there looking at them smiling, so happy at the moment. Her mother opened the right arm for him telling him to come, and he did she hugged her two children.

"My lovely two babies, I had two daughters now I have a son too. Actually two sons." Overlooking Christian, Christine, and her mother.

They all met each other and Christine didn't know any of this. Everything was planned when Amyra got on the plane to come back to New York. Amyra and Christine's mothers are like family too of course. The three of them walked in. Everything was perfect, they all welcomed each other with hugs and greetings.

A BIG FUCKING HAPPY FAMILY.

*In the office*

All of them were present inside the office with the laptop switched on. Today is a different day. Not different in general but in particular. Today is the trial of Anthony. The court will decide if he will cost punishment or go around the country and roam around like a freaking criminal.

Everyone was totally focused and into it.
Christine saw Christian and gave him a shy smile and he smirked, carrying two cappuccinos in his hand and gave it to Christine and sat beside her. He could understand Christine's anxiety through her eyes and held her hands tightly and looked at the laptop. Alex on the other hand gave a slight nod to Amyra and sat beside her and touched her hand firmly reminding her to stay calm and signalling her that it was going to be fine. It's always the small things that matter. It's moments like these that give us our longing for each other. It makes us fall in love with that person all over again. Our standards get skyrocketed to a superficial level.
Our eyes stayed glued to the screen.
Suddenly Mr. Louise came, Anthony's manager.

" Anthony will be getting 30 years of jail," said Louise from the other side.

We all were jumping with joy like little kids when we discover the world for the first time but this time we are adults who are witnessing the world for the nth time and seeing people standing on their deserved grounds. He deserved it surely.
Blaming someone else for your own situation in itself is a crime let alone killing somebody.
But we gotta admit that there are no bad people in the world. There are some people who sometimes do bad things and they must get their punishment as well.
Believing in destiny is not wrong but we as human beings create our own destiny. In the end, we all are just human beings with responsibilities and parts to play.
It's just fun when you do it with someone.

Everything is finally normal, with each of their stories being happy now. Christine's mom was happy and content with Christian same as Amyra's mother, she was overwhelmed with joy. Life can be dangerous at times, when you just wanna give up, strangle yourself, and don't want to get up and take charge anymore. That is the moment you look back and see so many years have passed, you've come so far. So, the show must go on.
In this case, Christine got Christian and Alex got Amyra.

" We did it, Christi," said Amyra

" We sailed," said Christine

" This time with sea captains," said Amyra and gave a wink to Christian.
Christian just gave a shy laugh and looked at Christine with love in his eyes.

" She's actually said it correctly! right Alex? " said Christine

Alex just blushed and held Amyra's hand taking in all the comfort.
We all took a deep breath and felt grateful to each other for each other's existence.
If they knew what love is, it is because of each other.
If they knew what an intimate touch is, it is because of each other.
If they knew what happiness is, it is because of each other.
If they knew what pain is, it is because of each other.
Last but importantly if they knew what miracle a person can bring it is because of each other.
