CHAPTER 30

*Christine before going to see David*

Amyra's pov :

I'm feeling much better now... Thank god I'll be discharged tomorrow. God I need to pee. Tuk tuk tuk... Get these out of me... Lala la...

Amyra was singing on her way to the washroom. By now everyone knows her. She fist-bumped the nurses in the corridor and high-fived her doctor. She was happy, after a very long time she was finally happy. On her way to the washroom, she called her mom from the telephone at the reception. 

" Hi, Mom... I know I know I'm so sorry. I didn't get to you. A lot was going on finally I got some time for myself. I missed you too Mom. You know I did. Of course, I coming next to next week. Also, I have some news to tell you. I'll bring someone to meet you. Christine is also coming with me. We both have something to tell you. Yes yes sure. Okay bye. Take care!! Amyra disconnected the call and turned back to find Christine standing behind her.

"Oh fuck! You scared me!" Amyra exclaimed, holding her chest, eyes pressed down regaining from the jumpscare.

"Yes likewise when you went missing," said Christine, arms folded.

 
"And did you just say that we are meeting her with Alex and Christian " she added.

 
"Ah huh.. boyfriends lemme correct you madame," Said Amyra with a naughty smirk.

 
"I'm going to talk to David!" Said Christine, she came straight to the point. "You know Amy, when you went missing there were a lot of situations where I thought about you. 'What would Amy do If she was in my situation'! and even now when I see him I feel like killing him I don't know how will I talk to him like a gentleman " said Christine, fidgeting.

Amyra went up to her and hugged her softly...
"You are great.. killing doesn't solve anything. I don't think he did that just to play around. David had his reasons. " Said Amyra then pulled her away from the hug. She held her hand, "you're gonna be just fine. I'm right here with you... And I was alive just to see you. You were my light at the end of the tunnel and always have been, Christine. I almost gave up in that basement but you were the last hope I held onto" Amyra added, hugging her still.

Christine teared up after some time talking to her, she left after giving her a hug. Aaron's daughter was saved and also all the other's sons and daughters were unharmed. So they all were free, leaving this mystery of David which was yet to be solved.

Amyra was discharged. She didn't say that today was the day for her discharge. She left and went straight to the office.

*Christine and Christian outside*

They decided to walk in the park instead of going into a room.

They both were walking casually.
"You know we used to love to play in parks. I always had this dream that there is a zombie apocalypse. I'm attacked she was eaten by the zombie... It was so scary. Haha" said Christine.
"Mhm..." Said Christian walking beside her.
Christine kept on talking when suddenly Christian held her hand...
"I love you, Christine," said Christian.

Christine's pov:
Fuck my life did he just ...

Christine couldn't respond she just stood there.
"Will you say something, please... I'm dying here" said Christian shaking her hand and trying to bring her back into this world.

"Are you sure?" She asked.
"More sure than anything in my life... I wasn't even this confident about my feelings when I applied for this job" he said.

" I love you too... Christian."
The smile on Christian's face was of a child who got the moon.
He gave a peck on her cheeks making them blush.

"I love you a lot... with all your flaws and tantrums. Can I be your boyfriend?"
" I love you more... With all your seriousness and anger. I take you as my boyfriend."
