For the Following 15 minutes none of them spoke. Rakshita, Laya, Swetha, and Ishaan were all dumbfounded. Ishaan was eager to know more, but soon realized that he wasn't the person Adira was opening up to, it was her friends to whom she wished to confess everything, he couldn't get hold of the reason why she revealed everything to Swetha and him too. Swetha continued to gape at all of them as she waited for a response. Laya shifted on the couch and said, "details Adira." staring at Adira in utter shock, she couldn't contemplate what her friend was saying, she found it hard to accept this face of Adira. Mythri understood that the narrative was about to begin, and that she needed to leave Adira and her friends alone to discuss. She decided to go to the kitchen in the lounge, "I'll get some coffee." she said while getting up from her seat. Rakshitha instantly stood up, "don't you dare move Mythri. I'm sure that you were also part of this entire plan. You made her do all of this right?" Rakshitha said with an accusing tone, Her voice rising with each word coming out of her mouth. Mythri was an independent, self-respecting woman. She was one of those people who didn't accept any kind of random accusations, especially false accusations. Mythri glared at Rakshitha.
Mythri was about to answer back in the exact same tone, but then she realized that Adira wouldn't like it. Mythri was a person who hated any kind of emotional attachments, she thinks that it makes a person weak, however when she met Adira and started to spend time with her, and bonded with her,in no time she was prioritizing Adira over everybody else. Mythri controlled her temper, if it was somebody else Mythri would have slapped them right across their face without a second thought. Mythri closed her eyes for a minute to calm herself down, "Ms. Srinivas! You better watch out, think before you say anything. I just played my part as instructed by my friend and boss. You'll surely get a headache from the facts you're about to confront, that's why I was about to offer you all coffee." She said. Rakshitha took a step back as Adira pulled Mythri back. Mythri calmed herself under Adira's glare. When Mythri turned around to go grab some coffee, she said, "Let me tell you both one thing clearly, your friend is not the same innocent person you both grew up with, not anymore at least." and walked into the kitchen.
Rakshitha sat back on the couch with a complete disbelief "what is she even talking about? Our Adira would never change. Never." Rakshitha said, it sounded as if she was pleading all this to be a nightmare, She wasn't prepared to accept that her pal was capable of pulling off such a feat. Adira in an attempt to hold back her tears turns her head away. She was aware that she betrayed her friend's trust, but she was compelled to take these steps, and it was necessary for her own healing. Rakshitha's feelings were growing out of control, and the anguish she was experiencing was evolving into resentment, disappointment, and grief. Rakshitha was about to lash out at Adira, Ishaan clutched Rakshitha's hand and said, "I know it's not right to step in between two friends, especially in between two women, who have known each other from their childhood. But without knowing what exactly happened none of us have the right to jump to conclusions. Let her explain what exactly happened." Ishaan said.
Adira stared at him in shock, because she had actually never seen someone like Ishaan. He was considering this from a different perspective and was waiting for all the facts before drawing his own conclusions. He turned to Adira and asked her about what happened?", "it's Who Mr. Mathur. Your question is supposed to be about the person who led to this change in her, what happened you will know now." a new voice echoed in the room. Everyone turned to the door and found a young woman, who was around the same age as them. Although Laya couldn't recall where or when she had seen the woman, she had a slight suspicion that she somehow recognized her.
The woman entered the lounge was of average height and was decked in silver jewelry and wore a sleeveless royal blue Kurti. Her medium-length hair held in a clutch, which fell over her shoulders. She had a small mole on her chin. She walked into the room with confidence, she wore a simple watch on her left wrist, and was holding her black purse. She was holding a set of keys with which she unlocked the lounge door and entered. Rakshitha also found her familiar but had no memory of an encounter with her. When Swetha noticed the woman, she immediately sprang up and exclaimed, "Judith Alberto! Noel's girlfriend!" Ishaan and the others stared at Swetha in bewilderment and then at Judy, but Adira and Mythri didn't appear to be bothered by her presence. "Why are you here, and how did you get in? The door was locked." Ishaan said Judy raised her hands and showed him the keys she was holding. Rakshitha stepped forward with a questioning look, "how the hell do you have the keys to this lounge? I remember very well, nobody has access to this lounge except for Mythri and Adira." she said.
Laya held her head, noticing which Swetha went and sat next to her, "Guys, remember that Laya is six months pregnant." She reminded everyone. Adira apologized to Laya and sat down next to her, "I'm sorry. I wanted to tell you all about this after your delivery, but something unexpected happened, and I can't let you guys down again." said Adira. Laya looked at her and got emotional, "what happened Adira?" she asked in a desperate tone. Adira lowered her head and turned to Judy. Laya looked at Judy trying hard to remember where she saw Judy before. After a few moments Laya finally recollected where she saw Judy, "You were Adira's MBA classmate, as well as her close friend from college." Laya said. Judy's lips curled up into a smile. She groaned and sat down in an armchair, saying, "Good, you at least paid attention to me when I was with her in college." Judy said. Judy's words confused everyone, "don't get confused, I went to the same school as you three, I was your batchmate in school, in fact your classmate. I used to sit just two benches away from you guys." Judy informed them. Rakshitha and Laya exchanged startled glances.
Rakshitha sat back on the couch, "you knew us for years and I never even knew you existed." she said, Judy just rolled her eyes, "This is exactly why the entire class referred to you guys as 3 extremes; arrogant Rakshitha, an ignorant Laya, and a completely innocent Adira." Judy said. She grinned as she turned to face the three friends. "I hate to say this, but Mythri please hand me my coffee," Rakshitha said while squeezing her eyes shut. Mythri brought the coffee and handed each of them a cup and warm milk for Laya. Laya noticed that Adira seemed lost and helpless, while Swetha stood up and approached Adira, "I know I'm not your close friend, but please tell us what happened." she requested. Adira inhaled a deep breath, "all this began nearly 6 years ago, my innocence died as a result of my failed love story, after which a new, heartless version of myself emerged. I never thought I'd become like this; heartless, calculative, and guilt-free about any step I take against my enemies." She revealed. Everyone in the room fell speechless, they could hear the traces of pain and anger in Adhira's voice. Rakshitha was completely taken aback. "You loved someone?" she exclaimed. "You never told us anything about it?" Laya threw in. Adira looked at her friends, "I wanted to, but he stopped me from doing so. I wanted it to be special, but it turned out to be something very painful and pathetic. I thought I found my Knight, my hero, but then I realized I fell for someone very pathetic, a spineless man who couldn't even stand up for himself." she said, Adhira's voice clearly showed how angry she was getting by just thinking of him.
