It had been a little over a month that passed by since Arya's party. She was at Bella's again that Friday night.
Arya had got into an argument with her mom again about how much she was going to be paying for college and her mom reminded her she wouldn't help pay any of it.
She had finally had enough of all her mother's complaints, and spent about 10 minutes screaming at her, tears streaming down her face.
She was so exhausted from constantly arguing with her and like always, the only place she knew that she could go in times like this, was Bella's house.
The two were sat on the island eating pepperoni pizza from the box with a 6 liter of orange fanta sat beside them that they took turns sipping out of.
"Oh my god this pizza is so good." She closed her eyes, feeling every flavor of the pizza melt on her tongue.
Arya was craving pizza all day and as always when she had a craving, Bella satisfied it for her. Bella buying her pizza was one of the many times she loved her a little extra.
"It's the same pizza we get every time." Bella teased.
Arya reached for another slice just after finishing her first one.
"I'm forever grateful we have our last day on Monday. Summer break is going to be amazing."
Arya could already picture the different trips they would take and the parties they would attend. Even last summer they managed to sneak into a few college parties as well. But this year they'd be able to get in no matter what since they were no longer in high school.
At parties Bella was always with a group of girls. She never blamed her for being loyal to Ethan but, it had always made her jealous when she caught sight of the two smiling and laughing whilst she was wandering up the steps with some frat guy.
"This summer my mom wants to take me on a bunch of college tours and let me tell you I could die."
Bella exhaled dramatically, taking what was her forth slice of pizza, folded it in half and began to eat it.
Unlike Arya, Bella had yet to decide on where she wanted to go to college, leaving Arya to fend for herself when it came to the new experience.
Arya had been accepted to Ginnisburg University, one of the top schools for nursing to hopefully become a travel nurse. She knew that they made good money but, something also always drew her to nursing so, she decided to pursue it.
She always thought about being a model, but the dream never felt logical, and she loved food too much to ever give it up. She wouldn't be able to eat any of her favorite things. Then there were times where she wanted to be an artist. There was nothing that she loved more than art, but she refused to take any art classes in school. She didn't see a point in ruining something she loved to do just to do what someone else wanted her to. It was more fun when she could do anything she felt like. And more than anything did she love to paint.
Bella and Arya had talked for years about going to college together. When they were younger, they played college every day and even shared a dorm with each other. Bella had always wanted to be a nurse so, Bella pretended as if she was going to get her nursing degree. Arya on the other hand pretended to be the teacher of Bella's class because she wanted to be a teacher at the time.
As she got older, she realized she didn't want to be a teacher. It wasn't something she ever really thought about doing for real. It was just more of a dream of her younger self. But now, sitting here in the same kitchen where they ate sandwiches and chips as their college lunch, something felt different. Like these bittersweet moments were slowly coming to an end and even though she knew it wouldn't last forever, she could never prepare herself enough. But she pushed the thought away because she wanted to spend every minute with Bella in hopes that they would be able to spend their young adult years together.
