Arya's gaze turned to the kite boarders once again, unsure of how they were able to keep their balance while soaring across the ocean.
Cam must have been watching her because he managed to spark a conversation about it.
"You know out of all the years I've been living here; I've never kite boarded." He spoke calm and with a sense of wonder.
Arya couldn't believe out of all the years he had lived here; he had never been kite boarded.
"Really? I thought you would have done it already. Especially because.. well, you know. You're a local." She teased.
A smirk formed on his face, and he rolled his eyes.
"Just because I'm a local doesn't mean I've tried or done everything. There's a lot I haven't done." He paused.
"Considering I'm a local." He said, adding on to her teasing.
"Oh really? Like what?" She questioned.
It took him a moment to come up with what might have been an excuse and, he almost brought it up but, must have realized he'd done it.
"Exactly. You've done everything!" She laughed at his silence, throwing her hands up.
Arya's eyes wandered to Cam who already had his gaze set on her. The two sat in silence for a few minutes but, even the silence seemed so comfortable that neither of them bothered to speak.
Not too long after that, their food and drinks finally made their way to the table.
Arya thanked the waiter and began unfolding her napkin and put it over her legs. Cam watched her in owe, furrowing his eyebrows but, quickly shook it off, picking up his fork and knife to cut thin slices of the tuna he had ordered.
Cam didn't take bites to fast or even, to slow but just fast enough to get rid of any noises that would have come from his stomach.
Arya, on the other hand decided it was a great idea to order ribs. Obviously not realizing that this option would be a horrible choice to not look like a slob.
From the looks of it, the ribs looked like it had just the right amount of barbecue sauce but, that was even worse. She didn't want to feel like a slob and yet, she'd have to because how else could she possibly eat them.
Picking up her fork, she stabbed it in between the bone and the meat of one of the ribs. Picking up her knife and cutting through the rib slowly.
Arya continued this process with the other six ribs that were still attached to each other. She picked up one of the ribs, hesitant to eat it but, pushed herself through any thoughts of Cam judging her.
He didn't seem like the judgmental type but, it was only a matter of time until she would find that out for sure. She bit into the rib, chewing it slowly. When she looked up, Cam was not staring at her but looking out at the ocean in awe at the kite boarders.
They were both very silent at first, obviously because they had been so hungry but, it didn't take long for conversation to spark.
"I think you should do it." She said, interrupting his thoughts and taking another bite of her rib.
Cam turned his head, his eyes focusing on hers.
"What?" He asked confused.
Arya was sure Cam knew what she was talking about it, he was just too scared to pull through with it.
"You should try kite boarding. You seem very intrigued by it." She shrugged.
His eyes widened a bit but, he didn't reply. He must have been contemplating if he was willing to commit to such an activity.
