Bree

"Asher McGhee!" She screeched, "Put me down right now, you fucking idiot!"

"I'm done with this bullshit, Bree!" I snapped, marching into the building with her on my shoulder, "We're finishing this now!"

She was kicking and screaming, as cameras flashed and jokes ensued.

When we entered her dressing room, I set her down on her feet gently and she began slapping at me. Hitting my arms and chest.

"What the hell are you doing?! You fucking piece of shit!" She shouted, "I'm not wearing any underwear, Ash! You literally just flashed my cooch to the whole fucking world!"

I began to brace myself for the impact, "Bree! I didn't fuck that chick! I wouldn't do that to you!"

She began to hit even harder and I brought my hands to my face, to proect myself, incase she found an object to throw at me next.

"I spent too many years fucking up, because I missed you! I fucked up with your band guy, but I-I don't know what I thought! But I apologized to him!"

She stopped slapping me, halfway thorough my explanation.

When I glanced back at her, she had her arms crossed and her lips were drawn tight, leaving that little wrinkle that appears on her chin when she's angry.

"It's none of my business what you did with that chick, Asher." Her voice was calm and quiet, but there were tears in her beautiful eyes, "We aren't married yet, so the premarital agreement isn't standing."

"Enough with the fucking contract bullshit! I'd pull it all off the table if you'd marry me tomorrow!" I yelled in her face, "The only reason why I came up with that stupid ass agreement was because I wanted you! I wanted to make it so you couldn't run from me again! I love DC, but I was never going to take her from you! Sure, I used her as my leverage, but she was my only stronghold!"

"I needed to keep you!" I grabbed her forearms, to make her look me in the eye, "You had this whole other life you'd made and you seemed happy, without me! I wanted you and my kid in my life, in THAT order! I swear to god, Bree! I NEVER touched that woman! There is NO way that I'd EVER trade you for anyone out there! When it comes to you, I'm ALL in! Without a doubt! YOU are who I want! Who I NEED!"

"Ash-" She began to sob.

"Let me finish!" I snapped, "I can't say what you do to me, Bree! There just aren't words! I'm the fucking word man and there are NO words for what's between US! NONE!"

She slumped down into a heap on the floor, in defeat, as she sobbed.

I didn't know what to do. Did I go to her? Would she hit me again if I did?

No, I didn't care what she did to me, I needed her to know that I was here and I wasn't going anywhere.

I crouched down in front of her, on the floor, holding onto her forearms again, to support her, as I searched the storm that was her gray eyes.

"Bree, I know that I don't deserve you, or this relationship. I know that I've fucked up royally in the past and that you shouldn't have to see or hear any of it, but it's out there and I can't hide it. I need to know if you can ignore my past and be in my future. Please, just tell me that you'll ignore it all and let me be the man I should have been all along!"

She began to sob even harder. Could she honestly not trust me, because of my past?

"Bree?"

"I'm pregnant."
