Asher

The drive took half the time, considering that I was fueled.

Chris almost had a coronary in the passenger seat. It was his car after all and he was still pretty bruised up from our encounter the other night, but we walked into the club in unison.

Hard rock blared from the dance floor in the back, but the entrance was filled with random groups of people, just hanging out, drinking and chatting it up.

I spotted her instantly, although she didn't see me.

She stood out, amongst the crowd, in leather pants and a deep red shirt, that gave way to show her perfectly smooth stomach.

She was standing in a group, with that blonde friend of hers from last weekend, right between the booths and the dance floor.

Some burley mountain man stood behind her, one hand resting on her hip, while he sipped a beer with the other. He just appeared to be making himself at home, by her side.

My jaw went rigid and my hands formed fists. Not tonight, shithead.

The guys followed my gaze, but said nothing about what they saw.

"I think we're gonna' need booze for this." Nick made his way to the bar.

"A booth just opened up, let's grab it!" Jason pointed to a booth in the corner. On the other side of Bree and her group. He made his way to grab it, checking her out with a smile as he passed.

I had to check myself. Could I handle walking by them, without physically removing his hands from her body?

Bree bent forward as we passed, laughing about something that the blonde was saying.

She still smelled like lavender and patchouli... Even after all these years... It was a scent that called me home... Unfortunately, that home was currently being invaded by a mountain man.

I paused debating whether I should make my presence known, or continue on. That was when the blonde noticed me, her laughter instantly turning into a mischeivious glare.

The mountain man followed her gaze, looking directly at me, as I glared down at his hand on Bree's hip, telling him with my stare that it wouldn't be there long...

When we were seated at the booth, the guys looked back at Bree and began to talk.

"Bree got hot, Dude!" Nick's eyes were wide.

"Nah, she's always been that pretty." Jason told him sadly.

"She's still a rocker chick though," Chris smiled, leaning back in his seat, shaking his head with admiration, "Look at those legs in leather."

"She's gotta be dulling her shit down for big and burley," Gabe chuckled, "She'd tare that bitch in two."

"Shut the fuck up!" I snapped, "All of you!"

"You came to watch her, not eavesdrop on us," Nick pointed a finger at me, "We can talk."

Two hours and five watered down drinks later, she'd moved to a booth and was still chatting it up, as she laughed with mountain man. A few others even joined their group.

In the past couple of hours, her friend would glance up at us randomly, a smile on her face when she saw that I was still watching. Of course I was still watching. It was Bree after all.

The second that mountains mans lips got near hers I'd be on his ass, but so far it was just his arm draped over his shoulder and he was whispering in her ear.
