Going back to the sengoku era where tanjiro was still at, many things have changed. Minutes turned into hours, hours turned into days, days turned into months, and months turned into years. It's been a couple of years since tanjiro has been in that era and many things have changed. Now tanjiro on the other hand, he's barely changed since of course that's not his regular era. Yeah his hair did grow longer and he now has it in a ponytail like the twins do. But other than that, he just looks the same except for his hair.

Yoriichi and Michikatsu though did grow. They did go their separate ways. Tanjiro stayed with michikatsu while yoriichi went off on his own. He told them to not follow him or look after him. So michikatsu and tanjiro listened and decided to just stay together for now because who knows what happens. Tanjiro did have a choice if he wanted to go with yoriichi but he politely declined and stayed with michikatsu. Good idea tanjiro. Very good idea.

"You know, you haven't changed at all. You literally still look the same as you were when I was a kid." Michikatsu said side glancing tanjiro. "Well your hair did get longer but other than that... you stayed a short ass." Michikatsu said again holding in his laughter as tanjiro only went up to his chin.

"You know that wasn't very nessecary to just bring that up out of no where." Tanjiro sweatdrops walking forwards fast. "Hey wait up!" "No." Tanjiro said a bit annoyed. He isn't really like this but since he's been with the twins for quite a while, they are like all brothers at this point.

The two have been walking for quite a while now making up random conversations. Well technically it was just Michikatsu making fun of tanjiro and teasing the shit out of him while tanjiro trying his best to not tell him off or anything. What a kind soul.

"So-" "WE ARE HERE NOW HOW IVE BEEN WAITING TO GET HEREEE!" Tanjiro yelled out to avoid getting teased once again by michikatsu.

"You listen to me when I sp-" "Yeahhhhh I think we should stop by in this veryy nice and small place." Tanjiro said pointing to a small cottage like house where both would be staying for now. Since both are traveling now, they are of course going to stop place by place to stay in for at least 3-7 days.

Michikatsu felt an irk mark appear on his forehead because of the amount of times tanjiro kept speaking before him so he went ahead and smacked the back of tanjiro's head hard.

"AH- I- WH- FUUUUUUUUUUUC-"

Moving on.

"Sorry tanjiro..." Michikatsu mumbled under his breath holding onto his head that now has a bump. Want to know what happened? Well let's skip back to a couple minutes ago...

Flashback

"Your head is like a rock... almost broke my finger." Instead of hitting his head again, michikatsu just pushes tanjiro making him tumble to the ground. Tanjiro just snapped. He stood up quickly and...

headbutted him.

"FU-"

END OF FLASHBACK.

"Its fine I guess... maybe I should be the one saying sorry." Tanjiro said as he sweatdropped slightly bowing his head. "...sorry too." And there we have the two hooligans feeling sorry for eachother.

Some hours have past by pretty quickly and both of them were currently training outside. Well more like they were both sparring. Since michikatsu doesn't have a breathing technique, tanjiro may have to go a little easy on him as he does have a breathing technique. It definitely pained michikatsu that fact that he wasn't able to master the sun breathing while his own twin brother could do it heck even better than tanjiro could.

The thought itself drove michikatsu quite mad that he accidentally scratched tanjiro's cheek with his sword. Of course, michikatsu doesn't even notice as his eyes still shook a bit.

Tanjiro on the other hand, he just wiped his cheek and saw the crimson red blood on his haori. He doesn't say anything as he watches michikatsu muttering words under his breath as of course tanjiro does not understand what he was saying but he didn't nessecarily care. He was worried about him, but he wanted to see what was up with him.

"Uh... you okay?" Tanjiro said as he walked forwards towards michikatsu placing a hand behind his back while looking at him concerned.

"..."

"Mi-"

Before tanjiro could even finish his sentence, he was already pinned to the floor by a fed up michikatsu who just stared at him in rage.

"W-woah are you sure your okay?!?!?" Tanjiro grabbed onto michikatsu's arms tightly desperately trying to get him off.

Michikatsu continued to stare at him. But it wasn't any normal stare. It was as if a predator were looking directly at its prey kind of stare. Tanjiro looked back at him in shock wondering what made him snap like that. If yoriichi were here, tanjiro would be pretty sure he could calm him now but of course, he isn't there.

Michikatsu wasn't even saying anything. It was as if he just lost completely control. He can't surpass yoriichi and he can't surpass tanjiro. That drove him mad. Why is he always last? Why? Why?

Tanjiro was able to get him off from on top of him but tanjiro was met with a slap across his face. Tanjiro just sat there holding onto his cheek as his maroon eyes shook a bit.

Looks like tanjiro is going to have to control him. But how?

He sat there zoning out figuring out what to do that he didn't even notice michikatsu pouncing at him once again pinning him as hard as he can to the floor.

"HEY!" Tanjiro said trying to catch michikatsu's attention. "YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN." As soon as tanjiro said that, he got him off once again but he pinned him to the floor instead. Both were looking at eachother as if they were about to kill eachother. Just what was happening to michikatsu?

Tanjiro shook his shoulders a bit muttering words under his breath that only he and michikatsu could hear. He really was trying to get him back.

Michikatsu just growled kicking him off. Tanjiro landed on his back first as he grunted a bit in pain as that was a pretty hard kick. He was about to stand up once again until a sword came his way.
