A story in which tanjiro kamado, main protagonist of demon slayer, mysteriously gets transported 480 years back in time to meet two certain twins you may be aware of.

"Tanjiro."
The voice that belonged to yoriichi was heard from behind. Tanjiro froze in place as he was about to follow uta but of course, there will always be an interruption.
Yoriichi softly placed his unconscious twin brother on the ground with his back leaning against a tree. He then went ahead and slowly walked forward in a pretty near distance towards tanjiro. Tanjiro noticed this and stepped back a safer distance.
"...yes?" Tanjiro answered after a long while of silence and awkwardness. He looked behind him seeing uta sigh and stop in her movements. Not like anyone else could see her either way unless your a tanjiro kamado.
"...look tanjiro.. I have quite a lot to say right now so please bear with me..." Yoriichi frowned speaking in a low tone. He definitely seemed pretty down at the moment.
Tanjiro stood there giving glances to yoriichi and uta not knowing knowing to say or do. He's way too kind to say that he really needed to go at the moment or that he was in a hurry. So he went ahead and decided to give in and listen to what yoriichi had to say.
"...okay firstly I'd like to say that I'm extremely sorry. I should've done something immediately when the men started attacking you... and I should have taken credit from you as you were the one that taught me the sun breathing technique..." Yoriichi sent a sad look to tanjiro for a second until he continued. "I... haven't been in an okay state of mind lately after witnessing... ,he paused and sighed once again, my wife uta die."
Yoriichi finally said it. He finally told tanjiro what had been bothering him for a while. Now what does tanjiro have to say about this...
"Uta?" Tanjiro looked at yoriichi bewildered. "Uta was your wife?!" Tanjiro was now speaking a bit higher than before without realizing it. He turned around to look at the woman for a moment as she went ahead and nodded. Uta had completely forgotten about mentioning that she was married to yoriichi before she died. Uta was a bit sad.
"...yeah." Yoriichi frowned but also looked a bit concerned. Did tanjiro ever cross paths with uta? Was that the reason why he acted like that?
Tanjiro noticed the tension and went ahead and exhaled as he didn't even notice the breath he was holding in. To try and lighten up the mood he said, "...well I'm very sorry for your loss... if I had known this before... I would've given you some space..." Tanjiro looked towards the ground.
It was still a pretty awkward situation once again but that didn't stop uta from throwing a rock at tanjiro getting him off his trance and gesturing him to start saying his goodbyes. If he doesn't now, he'll be in more danger than he already is.
