In the last minute tanjiro was able to clash his jet black blade against michikatsu's blade. Tanjiro didn't want to hurt him as he is still confused as to why he is acting like that. He just kept staring at him in shock.

Michikatsu on the other hand doesn't really seem to care nor is he in his control. He just so happen to just snap. Tanjiro kept thinking about what to do in this situation. His blade was still against his and it didn't seem like michikatsu would let go at any moment now. It was up to tanjiro to figure something out quick.

Tanjiro swings his sword to the left making michikatsu's sword fling away from his grasp as it landed with a thud on the ground. Tanjiro breathed in heavily as he was able to finally get michikatsu off of him. Tanjiro calmly put his sword back to its scabbard as he slowly lifted up his hands meaning no harm.

Michikatsu face was completely darkened as if he would pounce at him at any time once again. That was what he did. But he was going to punch tanjiro directly at his face until he stopped.

He just froze.

Tanjiro was bewildered and confused. Why did he randomly freeze? It was a good thing as tanjiro didn't end up getting punched though. But still. Why did he randomly freeze?

Michikatsu hand randomly started to shake. Same thing happened to the rest of his body. He let out a small fit of coughs and randomly collapsed on top of the poor and still confused tanjiro. Tanjiro yelped a bit when he felt him collapse. Luckily he was able to catch him. And he was finally back to normal. At least tanjiro thinks he is though.

Tanjiro looked around for a moment and sighed as he tried his best to carry him back inside. He was very heavy indeed but tanjiro has been through worse situations so carrying him isn't much of a problem.

It's been 2 hours since.... that happened. Tanjiro had been able to get michikatsu inside safely and he was able to get himself cleaned up as he was covered in dirt and a bit of blood.

Tanjiro sighed as he stood up and went outside of the washroom to check on michikatsu. But he was stopped by a mirror that he never noticed was there in the time they were in this small cottage. Tanjiro decided to walk up to it slowly. During the couple of years he's been in this era, he hasn't noticed how long his hair had grown. It reached up to his waist. He looked a bit like yoriichi... thats cool!

But there was an issue... tanjiro can't do his hair. Did he seriously have to cut his now long hair again because of how complicated it'll be to tie his hair? Well... its worth a try.

Tanjiro was suppose to check on michikatsu but here he was trying to tie his hair in front of this mirror.
