"Nooo. Five more minutes." I heard myself groan as I grabbed my pillow and stuffed it over my head.

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

My alarm was going off like crazy, and it was all I could remember hearing for all my time being asleep. Finally, I couldn't stand it anymore, and I pressed snooze. 

"Why do I bother?" I grumbled to myself. Yawning, I stretched my body and got ready to start the day.

It hadn't even occurred to me that I was supposed to help Kitty until I'd already washed up, dressed, and done my hair and makeup. Immediately, my head snapped towards the mirror.

"Oh, shoot."

Scrambling for the door, I grabbed my phone and made a mad dash for the door. I ran all the way into the boy's hallway and knocked politely on Kitty's door.

"Hello? Kitty?" I called, banging on the dorm. My heart sank further every second that passed. Was I too late? Definitely. Had she already left? I didn't even want to know.
