Fifteen minutes later, I was still in the boys' dorm, ready to start my first official day at KISS. When I checked my phone, I cringed reading all the new headlines.

"Are you seeing this?" I asked Min Ho, who happened to be closest to me. I showed him my phone. "People are saying 'cutest press conference ever,' but what was even cute about it? Mr. Han was just like 'my daughter's dating someone who'll save the face of my entire reputation' and no one questions it?"

To my surprise, Min Ho actually chuckled. "It's normal. I thought you'd be used to it? People will make headlines out of anything nowadays."

"I know," I muttered. "They spend all their time being creepy stalkers on social media looking for every detail of someone's life to obsess over— and seriously, they'll obsess over anything. Even teenage romances."

"Ouch," said Q, but he didn't argue.

Min Ho gestured to the door Kitty and Dae went into. "What are they even doing in there?"

"Probably making out," I answered absentmindedly. I was stressing more about where my classes were.

"Okay, not funny." Q stated with a finger in the air. "He's dating Yuri."

"I don't really care about Yuri. Kitty might be right. It's probably fake. Who knows." I pressed my phone furiously as I did not place on the dress to impress leaderboard. "WHAT? My outfit was so much better! F—"

"We're going to be late if we don't leave soon," Q announced, glancing at the clock. His tone was firm but got progressively more exasperated as he paced by the door. "Like now."

Min Ho stood up first, brushing the nonexistent dust off his pants, and I followed, stretching. "Don't forget to pry the two lovebirds off each other before we go anywhere," I reminded him.

Q wasted no time in striding towards the door they were holed up in.

"You should knock," I advised. "You don't know if they're—"

"Don't put the visual into my head," Min Ho interrupted, grimacing at the thought.

Taking my suggestion, Q gave two firm knocks on the door. Without waiting for a proper response, he pushed the door open. Thankfully, they had just been talking. "Hey, so we gotta go now, or we're gonna be late!"

Min Ho leaned on the wall and pointed at the door. "I'm leaving this open."

"Just so you know, Kitty," I called, "they're now tagging posts with #alldaeeveryday and #IShipYae. It's terrible, and it's all over my for you page. Even Min Ho and I would have a better ship name."

Min Ho backtracked, surprised. "Yeah? Like what?"

"I'm using it as a comparison! God, it's like you don't understand sarcasm."

"I'm not old!" he defended.

"Really?" I mused, unconvinced. "I see visible wrinkles on your face— oh, and is that a white hair or two?"

"Dae!" he shouted, now ignoring me. "Hurry up!"

Dae ran out of the room, passing me and joining Q up front.

"See you around," Min Ho called over his shoulder. He didn't even bother to stop walking, only giving me that infuriating smirk of his. It was the kind of overconfident expression that made me certain he thought he'd won whatever game he imagined we were playing.

I narrowed my eyes, glowering at his retreating figure. Frustration simmered in my chest as I bit back sharp words of aggravation. But I wouldn't let him have the last word.
