__'s POV
What was the opposite of fake-dating?Secretly dating.
It was astounding how far we'd come.
A couple months ago, Min Ho and I had been pretending to like each other, and now, we were caught in something arguably worse—hiding a real relationship from the world.
Of course, the media stormed in and did what it always did: it took the story and twisted it into a spectacle.

"Min Ho confirms breakup in latest post!"Min Ho had posted a simple statement confirming the breakup—cold, distant, and exactly what his father wanted. No grand declarations; no mess. I'd actually appreciated it, because although the internet was flying with speculations, we hadn't satisfied them with any real drama.
As for the friend group, ever since the letter incident, things between Praveena and Kitty had been frosty, to say the least. I couldn't even blame her. Kitty hadn't meant for the whole thing to to go down the way it did, but that didn't change anything.
Juliana, on the other hand, had disappeared almost entirely. I barely saw her around, and when I did, she only gave me a quick 'hello' or 'bye.' I suppose that was the punishment for being Team Kitty.
Likewise, Yuri had completely blocked Kitty out, and quickly shut down any conversation where I brought her up. I learned to not mention her. Now, she only hung out with a new group chat (which she made) that only consisted of me, Eunice, and Mihee.
She and Juliana were actively avoiding both Kitty and each other. But wasn't the extent of it.
Min Ho seemed to be going through a rough patch, too, because apparently Dae and him were in an argument. Something about Min Ho being too self-absorbed and doing what he wanted in the dorm without giving anyone else a second thought. The whole thing was over matters that built up over time (and oat milk), which I thought was rather stupid.
It was Kitty, of course, who was first to find something drama-worthy.
She had been snooping at the cabin, and told me that she'd somehow found her letter tucked inside Stella's suitcase!
Both Q and I were skeptical about Kitty's theory of Stella being up to something, but so far, I was the only person genuinely considering it instead of brushing it off.
I had disliked Stella beforehand, but now I had more than suspicions. I had something real to go on.
"Oh, please, are you really that gullible?" Kitty was complaining as Q brought up some good points against her theory. "That's not a reason, Q; that's a cover story."
"Yeah, how are you explaining Stella stealing and leaking Kitty's letter?" I added, walking side by side with her as we headed to class.
"Maybe... it was a mistake," Q countered, but even I could tell he was reaching. He seemed to realize it too, because he sighed. "Okay, but what possible motive could Stella have to be leaking the love letter?"
"Look," Kitty stated, "I don't know what she's actually after, hence the snoop. But trust me."
"She's definitely up to something," I agreed.
"Well, perhaps this manic energy can be better utilized helping me navigate this toxic bro tension I'm currently living with," Q grumbled.
"What do you want us to do about?" I sighed.
He glanced at me and lowered his voice sympathetically. "I would ask you to talk to Min Ho, but... y'know. I'm sorry about what happened between you guys, by the way."
