I have to be stupid for ruining this opportunity to talk to her for an entire summer but that's what she wants. I know what would happen to her if her dad found out, I don't want her to get hurt. I don't want to cause her any pain, and if this story takes a bad turn, it will be my fault and not hers.
"Okay, great!" she said, grabbing her English notebook.
"I'll start writing now princess, so your Daddy won't be worried about you being late for dinner"
"Stop calling me that! And yes, you should hurry" she said, crossing her arms, trying to look mad at me but all I can see is her beautiful eyes on me.
My phone vibrates
"Oh shit, shit, shit" This cannot be happening- not now.
"What happened? Are you okay? You look sick. Coming here was a terrible idea"
"I'm running away" I guess
"Is this some kind of an awful joke of yours?"
"No, I'm being serious"
"Really?"
"Yeah, do you want to come?"
"Yes"
I don't know why I asked her to come. I thought she was going to decline immediately without even considering my request.
"We are going to take my car then, come on"
