HOTCH WALKS DOWN INTO THE BULLPEN, noticing that ophelia was stood by the coffee maker. He walks over to her, but she didn't seem to notice him right away."Morning." He says to her, starting to move past but he stops when she doesn't respond. Hotch turns to face her, only seeing her staring down at the cup in her hand. He raises an eyebrow, leaning down a bit. "Coffee that bad?" He asks her and this catches ophelias attention. She meets his gaze, a confused expression on her face.
"Huh?" Ophelia furrows her eyebrows, just staring back at the man.
"The coffee." Hotch states, gesturing to the cup she was holding. Ophelia glances down at it for a moment, still a bit confused but she realized what he had asked her.
"Oh, no. It's fine." Ophelia assures him as she shakes her head. Hotch saw how odd she was acting, wondering if something was on her mind.
"Is everything okay?" Hotch asks her, a bit concerned and she just presses a tight smile on her face.
"Yep."
"Are you sure?" He didn't mean to press at her, she just seemed a bit off. Ophelia clears her throat, brushing her hair behind her ear.
"Hotch, I'm fine. Promise." Ophelia could tell that she wasn't that believable but honestly, she just wanted to end the conversation.
"Well, if you want to talk, you know where my office is." He tells her and she only nods lightly. She follows him up to the round table where everyone from the team already was except for JJ.
"Hey, Spence." She says softly as she sits down beside him, Penelope standing beside her. Spencer turns to her, smiling brightly.
"Hey." He responds before his eyes land on the singular cup she was holding. "Didn't get me coffee?" Spencer asks with a pout, furrowing his eyebrows. Ophelia could only narrow her eyes.
"Like you can't take five steps." Ophelia tells him and he only leans towards her, placing his hands on his chest.
