THEY WERE BACK AT THE BAU AFTER HAVING SOLVED THE CASE. Spencer had still yet to talk to Ophelia unless it was case related. She really didn't know if he was mad at her or just having a bad day. But either way, she felt upset that he was just completely ignoring her. Ophelia never wants to do anything to upset him but maybe she did something without even thinking. Ophelia notices him going to the coffeemaker so she decides to follow him.
As she walks up to him, stopping beside the man, she can see that Spencer glances at her for a second. "Did I do something to upset you?" Ophelia asks with a sigh, getting right to the point because she didn't want him to be angry at her anymore. "Because if I have, please tell me." She states, wanting to know what she did to him. Spencer only stares at his cup, pouring the coffee into it.
"You haven't done anything." Spencer denies and Ophelia furrows her eyebrows, crossing her arms against her chest.
"I find that hard to believe." She admits, knowing something was up. "You seemed upset with me on the plane and all throughout the case." Ophelia explains to him and Spencer just shrugs his shoulders as he sets the coffee pot down.
"I wasn't upset." Spencer tells her, lifting his mug and going to walk past her but she only stops him.
"Spencer." Ophelia had a sharp tone in her voice as she stared at him. Spencer let's out a sigh as he stares down at her.
"I wasn't." Spencer says, even if it wasn't the full truth. It wasn't that he was upset with her, frankly, he was just annoyed with Derek talking about his crush on her. Spencer was fine with wallowing to himself, especially since he knew someone like ophelia would never fall for him.
"Okay, fine." Ophelia replies as she bites the inside of her cheek. "Is something going on in your life? Are you... Addicted again?" She asks cautiously as she knew Dilaudid was a tough topic to bring up. But she was the one he trusted to get him to rehab.
"N-no. I just wasn't feeling well." He tells her and Ophelia frowns, tilting her head.
"Like overall or is something wrong?" She questions and Spencer just gave her a soft smile.
"Nothing's wrong, I promise." Spencer assured her, not needing her to make it into some big deal. Although he was happy she wanted to take care of him.
"You'd tell me though, right? If something was wrong?" Ophelia asks and Spencer nods his head. "Okay. Now, can you please stop ignoring me?" She pleads as she grabs at his hands. Spencer looks down at them for a second before smiling.
