They braced their swords before stepping into view Infront of the bush across from you.

You whipped you body around to face the two people Infront of you, they held swords at ready. You stepped back slightly readying yourself to run.

"W-who the hell are you!?" you panted nervously, you wanted to sound tougher than you did but your heart was beating so fast it hurt your ribs so sounding brave didn't seem to matter as much if you got out alive.

They stared at you in a confused matter, everything about you was strange.. from the way you were dressed to the fact you were out this late at night.

You steadied yourself again, preparing to run away as fast as your body would let you, "I said who are you people!" you yelled steadying the stick between both of your hands.

They turned toward eachother, covering their mouths from the side with their free hand. They conversed in whispers, most likely trying to figure out what to make of you. You saw this as an opportunity, a once in a lifetime opportunity to get away quick while they were distracted. You threw the stick at them, running into the forest in the opposite direction.

The stick came flying at Obanai, Mitsuri squealed knocking the stick away from her partners face by punching it. It went flying hitting against the tree before breaking in half. "Iguro-san! Are you okay!?" she yelled, her eyes brimmed with tears. Obanai blushed under the bandages that covered his lower half of his face, "Thanks Kanroji..I'm okay." he looked into the direction of where you ran. He was tempted to leave you to get eaten by a demon or hurt by some animal but he knew Mitsuri wouldn't allow it.

"C'mon, that lunatic ran that way.." he said dusting the pieces of stray bark off his clothes. They jumped ahead, running at full speed in order to find you faster.

You panted, pushing past the possibly poison plants that grew in masses on the forest floor. You could hear their voices behind you and all that you could think was.

"How the hell are they so fast..!?"

You continued running, your bare feet were aching and most likely bleeding. The adrenaline would soon run out, you knew that but you continued to run searching for any kind of hiding place you could but there where only trees, no caves anywhere..

Suddenly, a heavyweight was pushed against your back, the force pushed you to the ground. You panted pushing upward again, before trying to run again. The muddy floor slipped under you, pulling you to the ground again.

You crawled forward, struggling to keep going. Suddenly everything went dark as a warm trickle of blood ran down your face.

You couldn't feel your body, it felt like you were the air itself. It was a painless experience, but something was nagging at the back of your brain..

"Wake up."

You shot up, immediate regret shot through you because once you did your body began aching everywhere. You groaned, gritting your teeth as your body dropped back onto the bed behind you.

"Oh, you're awake!" a cheerful voice rang through the silence, the cheerfulness was unsettling and made you want to roll over a pass out again. "You've been out for quite a while," she said her tone the same cheerfulness.

You looked up at her, her hair was dark with purple dyed tips..her hair was tied into a bun which was held in place with a butterfly clip. You tried to form words but your throat burned, you continued to force the words from you throat. "Who..?" was all you could force out, she smiled sweetly grabbing a glass of water and a pill.

"I'm Shinobu Kocho," she said handing you the pill "Here, take this it will help with the sore throat.." she smiled again. You hesitantly took the pill studying it between your fingers.

You didn't trust her, something about the way she smiled.. you placed the pill in your mouth, swerving it under your tounge. You took a drink of water, the pill had a metallic taste and made you feel nauseated. She smiled at you again, as if expecting something..when she realized her desired result wasn't occuring her smile faltered, “If you'll excuse me, I need to check on some other patients of mine.” she left the room holding a tray of medicine and gauze.

You opened your mouth, letting the pill fall into your hand. It was a blueish tinted capsule that left your tounge tingling.. You looked out the window on the wall across from you, it was bright out.. you guessed it was late morning or early afternoon by the way the sun looked. You opted on getting up, you didn't know where you were and didn't trust them in the slightest.

Pushing your body upwards proved to be easier said than done, you either fell straight on you back like a board or rolled to the side which was uncomfortable. Frustrated and annoyed you pushed hard against the bedframe, moving your body upwards enough to keep your balanced when sitting. You placed your left leg onto the ground, it felt unbalanced but after a couple seconds of standing there you placed the other foot down.

You were standing.
