Tears to shed
-----------------------------------------------------------
Angel dust sat on a rotting stump, his decayed arms hugged his side. Charlie and alastor popped up next beside him, a frown playing on their face.

He was hurt, feeling betrayed and angry at himself for believing you. That you wouldn't try to get back with the human.

Oh those men of tenor panic
You've got so much more
You've got-, you've got-, you've got a wonderful personality

Charlie sang softly, a skeleton hand on his shoulder, her rotting face smiled, black eyes lighting up with a pink flame as alastor nodded, his rotten ears bouncing, flicking bits of rotten flesh onto angel dust's outfit.

What does that brat have that you don't have double?

Charlie smiled down at angel dust, lending her still slightly flesh covered hand.

He can't hold a candle to the beauty of your smile

Angel dust huffed, crossing his arms over his chest he looked away as he answered. "How about a pulse?"

The pair shook their head, rolling their eyes at the comment reassuring him.

Overrated by a mile
Overfed
Overblown
If she only knew the you that we know

Alastor frowned, before smiling snapping his fingers he grabbed angel dust's decayed hand gesturing to the golden band around a slender white finger.

And that silly creature isn't wearing her ring
And he doesn't play piano
Or dance
Or sing
No he doesn't compare

Angel dust frowned, looking over at his friends from over his shoulder. "But he still breathes air."

Charlie shakes her head, her wispy blonde hair swaying slightly. Her friend dispite being confident could be so insecure at times.

Who cares?
Unimportant
Overrated
Overblown

His chest was heavy with pain and the need to cry. The two decaying pair move up beside him, Charlie wrapping her arms around his boney figure while alastor patted his head.

If only she could see
How special you can be
If she only knew the you that we know

Angel dust groaned, pushing out of their hold, moving over to the railing the stood as a barrier that stopped at the edge of the cliff. Wind blowing in his hair he looked up at the moon, eyes wet and shiny with unshed tears.

If I touch a burning candle I can feel no pain
If you cut me with a knife it's still the same
And I know his heart is beating
And I know that I am dead
Yet the pain here that I feel
Try and tell me it's not real
It seems that I still have a tear to shed

A crystal clear tear trailed down his decayed cheek, darkening it as it rolled off his chin.

Alastor spoke up, showing an image of the man you were to marry, his nose screwed up.

The sure redeeming feature
from that creature
Is that he's alive
Overrated
Overblown

Charlie popped up into angel dust's line of view, sliding a finger over her throat as she sang.

Everybody knows that's just a temporary state
Which is curled vary quickly when we met our fate

Angel dust exhaled through his nose, eyes staring at the vary human image of you and husk. Oh, how cruel fate could be at times.

Alastor wiped away the image, the cloudy picture of husk disappearing quickly into the fog below.

Who cares?
Unimportant
Overrated
Overblown
If only she could see
How special you can be
If she only knew the you that we know

Angel dust sighed, the pair backing off as he squeezed his arms around himself. There was no point in fighting for you, he was dead and you were alive. Tears streaming down his decayed face he sang softly, his voice cracking with each note sang.

If I touch a burning candle I can feel no pain
In the ice or in the sun it's all the same
Yet I feel my heart is aching
Though it doesn't beat it's breaking
And the pain here that I feel
Try and tell me it's not real
I know that I am dead
Yet it seems that I still have some tears to shed

Alastor and Charlie left, a frown on their rotten faces. Angel dust's chest was still heavy with heartache, the feeling lingering long into the night.

Looking up at the moon, a sad smile forming on his rotten lips he spoke.

"I'll still love you, no matter the difference."
