Unhappy campers: day one
~>~
Moxxie's eyes widen as the three camper girls rejected him harshly, pointing out his skin and hair as they returned to checking out Millie. He sighed, looking down at his hands, "um, you're moxxine... Right?" A timid girl asked, fixing her sweater as she did so.
His eyes widen and he straightens up his posture, puffing out his chest he nods, his white pig tailed bouncing up and down. "Yes. I'm moxxine," he looks down at his hot pink nails, occasionally looking up at the girl in her sweater.
"Well," she sticks her hand out towards moxxie with a smile, "I'm y/n. It's nice to meet you moxxine. I like you're hair by the way." She quickly adds in, gesturing to his white pig tails.
Moxxie smiles, eyes shining as he suddenly becomes more self conscious about his hair. "Um, really?" He asks timidly, running his red fingers through it to get rid of any knots that might be noticable.
"Do you have a bunk partner yet? If not, you can come hang out with me at my cabin." She offers, gesturing over her shoulder to a secluded cabin away from the rest, purple lilacs surround outside of the cabin meshing well with the pink lilacs.
He smiles, his thumb running over his long pink nails nervously as he nods, a dark red ghosting over his cheeks. "Yeah! I'd like that, um, thanks."
He was never the type to be vary social. Not unless he needed to be, but he wanted to do it his way, to have a chance to prove himself to his peers and his wife.
If he could get the rest of the other campers to like him like you do then his job would be easier figuring out who was the murderer.
"Don't mention it, now, do you have anything I need to carry to the cabin?" She asks, rubbing her head gently, her hair falling forward slightly.
He giggled, covering his mouth to further himself into the character moxxine, being super popular and wanted.
"Oh, no! No, no. I don't need anything, I only have my clothes." He gestured to the small bag over his waist.
She nodded, Turing away from moxxie towards the beach, carrying a towel. He looked down at himself, he didn't want to come off as clingy but if he befriended you further then he could get information.
"Hey! Wait up!" He shouted running towards her as fast as he could, fixing his crop top. "I'm new around here so I figured if I stick with you I'll be able to see more of the camp."
He made up a thin lie, easy to see past but you were so Navie enough not to notice the obvious bulge in the back of his pants, or the redness of his skin and how he had white freckles and white hair.
Humans were so easy to trick. And you were no different.
You smiled, moving up beside the three popular girls who were in awe of Millard and his spiking tactic.
Moxxie frowned, chest heavy with jealousy and envy. She had a loving family, a father who adored her, a mother who loved her more than anything, and yet even when this was his mission, his time to shine and show who he was, it was stolen from him so quickly.

Night was falling quite quickly and everybody had took off to their cabins, Millie strided up to him with a bright smile as she waved off some of her adoring fans.
"Hey! Can you believe it? Today was so awesome, and everybody is so cool-" Millie proceeded to drone on about her day, souring moxxie's attitude only a little bit though because he still had to get to your cabin.
"And not only that but they want me to be in their own version of pain games. It's called an obstacle course I think..." She trailed off, noticing how quiet moxxie had been. Barely sparing her a glance.
"Hay... Is somethin' wrong?" She asked gently, placing her hand on his shoulder her eyes narrowed down as she tried to read him. A skill she had honed and perfected over the years of being married to him.
"I'm fine." He spoke, gently removing Millie's hand off of his shoulder. He looked up at the sky, watching the sun set and stars slowly appear. "It's getting late. You should probably head off with your friends."
He muttered out sourly as he rubbed his upper arm. Millie sighed, body slumping forward in exhaustion.
"Yeah, you're probably right. I've got us a cabin so we can-" moxxie held his hand up, silencing Millie, "actually I've already got a bunk partner."
Millie's brows furrowed forward in confusion as she raked her brain trying to remember a person moxxie had spoken too.
"Her name is y/n, and she's actually nice-" Millie's brows furrowed more, "wait... You're not bunking with me? But... That was the whole point... We'd bunk together and spy on that guy-"
He moved past her gently, heading towards the cabin you resided in. "Listen. Mosquitos are coming out, eating me alive. And it's not good for you either so I suggest you go to your cabin."
He skipped off, leaving Millie alone frowning to herself.
He's never acted this way before, sure, they've had fights before but never like this.
"Night... Moxxie..."
