You listened silently to the sound of stolas and his wife argue, the sound of pottery being smashed echoed throughout the home. Waking Octavia who had tried to sleep through it all.

She never slows down
She doesn't know why
But she knows that when she's all alone,
Feels like it's all coming down
She won't turn around
The shadows are long and she fears if she cries that first tear,
The tears will not stop raining down

Octavia sat up, grumbling as she rubbed her face, exhausted. Bags under her pink eyes, turning to you she flopped back into bed face shoved deeply into your warm chest.

Your girlfriend, exhausted and tired, reached blindly for her phone, hitting the alarm clock onto the floor groaning in annoyance. Her legs wrapped around your waist, ignoring the footsteps passing her door followed by yells and smashing.

She won't make a sound
Alone in this fight with herself
And the fears whispering if she stands she'll fall down
She wants to be found
The only way out is through everything she's running from
Wants to give up and lie down

She popped her black ear buds in, setting the music to max sound. The door creaked open and stolas popped his head in, carrying two plates of food a small smile on his face.

"Good morning you two. I'm sorry about Stella she can be... A bit..."

He struggled to find the proper words, setting the plates down onto the nightstand. Smiling you spoke.

"Bitchy?"

He snapped his fingers a smile on his face as he nodded.

"Yes. I was just trying to find another word for it. But in other terms yes, extremely bitchy."

You laughed softly, Octavia huffed softly, settling her chin on your chest eyes closed.

Stolas hoots softly, feathers fluffing up as he answers his phone, leaving the room shutting the door gently. Octavia opens an eyes yawning softly as you ran your slender fingers through her messy bed-head hair.

Octavia wouldn't have to fight her battles alone, not as long as your around and you let her know such things, telling her you'd always have a safe space for her when things got to be to much. Seeing as stolas absolutely adores your relationship and is rooting for it apposed to Stella who wants to see it crash and burn to the ground much like her own relationship.

Via sat up sleepily, feathers sticking to you. Her tail swished over your legs as she stood up, stretching.
