Silena felt she was going to die. She saw how her boyfriend-James- was sucking another girl's face, that girl being Stephanie, the girl Silena had fought with and given a few bruises.
"Don't worry," she heard him saying. "You still look beautiful. She was crazy." He brushed his hand against her cheek consolingly.
She spun around, forgetting her running practice, and took out her phone to call her mother.
"Yes?" Annabeth said from the other line.
"Mom, can you please come for me?" She said on the border of tears.
"Oh, honey are you ok?"
"No, can you please come get me?"
"Of course, I'm coming right now, but I'm still at the office, I'll take a while."
"Thanks."
Silena hung up and started walking away from the practice area.
"Hey, Silena!" She heard Dior calling her and felt a hand on her shoulder afterwards.
"Don't," she warned, looking at her phone.
Dior backed off. "Aren't you practicing?"
