As the days turned into a week, Mia and I hadn't met.

The absence of her presence weighed heavily on my heart, and it seemed fate had other plans for our reunion.

One evening, my phone rang, and it was Mia. She explained that her parents were out, and she suggested we have dinner outside together.

I had the idea of spending time with Mia, so I eagerly agreed to join her.

As I stepped into the towering building, anticipation was coursing through my veins.

Mia stood there, a frame in the dimly lit lobby. With a smile that reflected both longing and relief, together we stepped into the awaiting elevator.

Mia's finger gracefully pressed the button labeled "Rooftop," and we began to move.

As the elevator doors opened on the rooftop floor, a breathtaking panorama unfolded before our eyes. The city sprawled beneath us, its shimmering lights painting.

Yet, it was not just the night that captivated my attention. Instead, my gaze was drawn to the familiar faces that awaited us—the faces of the Oberoi family.

Confusion momentarily clouded my mind as I surveyed the scene before me. Where were the other guests, the strangers who would populate such a place on any other evening?

Mia, with a knowing smile, revealed the truth. "It's been booked exclusively for us tonight. "

As I went further into this scene, I spotted Yash, brother, and sister engaged in a playful banter, their laughter echoing through the night.

Their eyes lit up as they caught sight of me, and their teasing halted momentarily to welcome me into their midst. "Oh, look who's here!"

"Where are Sakshi, Sidharth, and the kids?" I inquired, unable to ignore their absence.
