Standing alongside the Khupashai, in front of the men and women who had tortured, abused and experimented on myself and so many others, I honestly felt sorry for them. Here was much of their life's work, standing before them, so much more than a 'Subject' for experiments. It was also kind of funny.

Stepping forward to deliver my message, I wished I could see the faces of the men and women below - energy sense could only do so much.

"Scientists and guards of the Umbrian government, I have an announcement." I paused, hearing my voice echo around the meeting room. "We are the Khupashai. We stand for peace and freedom against tyranny. Your governor is in our custody, for us to punish accordingly to his crimes of human experimentation. A formal trial will be held within a week..." The silence settled and I could sense everyone gather weighing up their options. "His accomplices will be treated the same... However, I am aware that not all of you were here willingly, the lives of your families and friends threatened for a madman's whims for power, we shall not hold that against you. And so, I give everyone here an option and a consequence. You can leave and start a new life outside of Umbrinia, or... you can stay and start a new life here with different rules. I shall not hold either option against you, however if we hear that your 'new life' involves brutally huntling down, or killing hybrids or even other people... we will find you, and kill you." I couldn't see but I could hear the murmurs: 'Would she ... Can she ... Surely she's not strong enough ... bluffing ...'

I smiled, "You doubt me? I just staged a rebellion and won right under your noses so yes, yes I can do it. And even if it's not me, my friends are just as strong if not stronger than me. So remember my warning. You have a day to think about what you are going to do. You are all dismissed."

As I sensed the people's energies leave, I turned back to the Khupashai and Perish smiling. "What did you think? Scary enough?" Altair laughed. "Definitely intimidating. It will be interesting to see how many people stay and how many go." I sighed, rubbing my temple. "Hopefully not too many - it would be hard to keep track of who's actually changed and who's still a threat." Feeling a bump at my side I recognise Nyx in her wolf form. "We could always interview them and use my powers to figure out if what they say is true." I paused completely blown away by what Nyx was suggesting - an idea that even I hadn't thought of. "Nyx you incredible person! That is genius!" I laughed, squeezing Nyx in a hug. "I would never have thought of that. I am very proud." I hear Jackal cough, mischief in his tone. "Nyx, why is your tail wagging?" Going stiff beside me, Nyx spluttered. "I - no! I'm not. Stop lying!" We all laughed, the last bits of tension easing away. Clearly still pouting, Nyx finally pointed out Perish. "Who is that man Chynea? I haven't seen him before."

"Right, I suppose introductions are in order. Everyone, this is Perish, he was a subject like us. Perish this is Altair - Second sword, Nyx - Third sword, Jackal - Fourth sword, Heidi - Fifth sword and Nori - Sixth sword."

"An honour to meet my rescuers."

I smiled, clapping my hands to gather everyone. "Right, I suppose it's time to rescue the others then. We can open the cell doors and call everyone to the courts, once there we can let them know what's happening and what their options are. Is everyone in agreement?"

"Yes, Chynea!"

"Then let's go finish this rebellion!"

"Yes ma'am!"

I chuckled at the sounds of their salutes before everyone moved to their places - both to watch and protect. "Perish, would you like to come with me?"

"Me? Are you sure?"

I shrugged, chuckleing. "I mean, sure - I'm gonna need someone to press the right buttons in the announcement room."

"Ah right... forgot about that."
