{Into The Woods}
Laura's POV
The next day was a rush in the morning.
As soon as we woke up, Mrs Ashton told all of us to stay in a row. I was standing between Rydel and Maia. My luck, huh?
Mrs Ashton: Okay guys, as I said in school a few days ago, we're gonna make groups of two and than I'm gonna give each team a list with things on, that they have to get. You guys have 4 hours for that. The groups are always Boy-Girl groups.
Okay, as soon as she said that, I knew that I was going to be in one team with Ross, it's my luck I guess..
Mrs Ashton: The groups are
-Gabriella and Troy (A/N 🌚)
-Sunny and Chad (A/N🌚)
-Riker and Vanessa
-Rydel and Ellington
-Laura and Ross
- Calum and Raini
- Maia and David (A/N 🌚)
.. See how I was right? I looked over to Ross who was talking with Calum about something. I guess he didn't even listen. He'll be suprised when he hears that we are in one group.. Sigh
Mrs Ashton: Okay so let me give you the lists
She took out a stuck of papers and handed it to each group. I was about to went over to Ross when Maia stopped me by getting in my way.
Laura: What?
Maia: Don't enjoy your time with Ross or I-
I smiled sarcastically at her.
Laura: Or what?
Maia: Or I...
Laura: Let me give you one tip, Maia. I'm the last person you wanna mess with, so stay away.
I went over to Ross and tapped on his shoulder and he turned around.
Laura: Guess we're in a group, huh?
Ross: We are?
He raised an eyebrow. I nooded for an answer. Please let these 4 hours be fast over...
Ross: Okay than, I guess
Mrs Ashton came to us and handed us the paper with the list on it.
Mrs Ashton: Be careful by going into the woods. I hope you guys are insured
She winked at us before walking away. WHAT THE HECK?
Ross: Yeah okay, I'm pretty sure that she shouldn't be allowed to be here with us..
Laura: I guess... Um anyways let's start finding the things.
Ross: Okay so what's the first thing we gotta get?
Laura: Ummmmm it's.. Mushrooms, orange mushrooms. Let's go searching for them.
Ross: Alright, I guess
He just followed me and we were going into the woods. It was getting hotter as deeper we got into the woods. I stopped for a second and so did Ross.
Laura: Um give me a sec, I gotta take my jacket off
I said I set my bag on the ground and took my jacket off which revealed my white tank top. I put my bag back on when I saw some mushrooms on the buttom of a tree.
Laura: Oh look, found them!
I kneelt down and picked two of them and got back up.
Ross: Sooooo number one is checked?
Laura: Yup
I said while putting them into an extra bag. Me and Ross looked at number two and started searching for that. As we were walking there was awkward silence... Till he spoke up.
Ross: I've got one question, you don't have to answer tho
Laura: Go ahead
Ross: Soo, are you always this mean ?
I looked at him for a sec, hoping that he was joking. Buuuut he wasn't.
Laura: That's actually me being nice
He looked at me and than chuckled.
Ross: Nice one
Laura: Thanks
I smiled. For the first time EVER around him.
Ross: Wowowowoowwoow did you just smile?
He looked at me with an amused grin on his face. I laughed.
Laura: I guess you did
Ross: Seriously, never thought that this day would come
He chuckled again. I laughed but than realized where we were.
Laura: Um Ross
Ross: Yeah?
He smiled at me.
Laura: Do you know the way back to the camping place
His smile instantly fade away.
Shit.
