Laura's POV
I walked away and went into the Science room. As soon as I stepped into the room, I saw Raini talking with a blonde girl. Who's that?
I walked closer to them and I think Raini wouldn't even notice me if I wouldn't have spoken up.
"Hey Raini.", I greeted her with a smile, causing her to turn to me and have that one expression on her face.
Yeah, that one. The fangirl one.
"Oh my god, Laura ! Look who it is !", she whisper-yelled while gesturing to the person in front of her.
I turned my attention to her before realising that it was a member of R5.
"Um.. Rydel, I guess ?", I asked unsure.
"No no, it's Rydel a- wait... Did you say Rydel ?", she asked, kinda off guard.
"Yes.", I told her.
"Anyways, I have the responsibility to show her around in school.", she beamed at me.
"Says who ?"
"Says principal Gilbert."
Seeing my questionable expression, she added, "It was considence. He chooses random people for showing the new students around."
I nooded, taking in the information before realisation hit me.
What if I get chose ?
From the corner of my eye I saw Rydel glancing towards me, before she spoke for the first time up, "Wait, weren't you at the concert yesterday ?", she asked with a gentle smile.
"Oh um yeah.", I answered. "But it was my sister's idea.", I added, just to make sure she knows I'm not a fan.
"Well, it was nice having you there."
"Thanks.", I muttered before smiling at her. "Laura, by the way.", I said while holding my hand out.
"As you already know, Rydel.", she smiled before taking my hand and shaking it.
And a new friendship was born, my mind told me.
I stopped myself right at time from rolling my eyes at my thoughts.
Just than the speaker made a noise and after that it said something...
"LAURA MARANO, PLEASE GO TO THE PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE"
WAIT... What?!
"Um, Laura. You have to go t-", Raini started with an amused grin before I interrupted her.
"Yeah, Raini. I heard it too."
"See you guys later.", I said while turning on my heel and making my way to the principal's office. When I got there, I knocked on the door.
"COME IN"
I went into the room and as soon as I saw who was in the room I frowned.
