Laura's POV
You guys probably now these movies where a popstar meets a normal girl and than they fall in love and so on...
Those are so ridiculous.
I mean they're just so unrealistic..
And now the kind of people that I hate the most will go to my school..
Vanessa was doing her happy dance... Which was...uh...
"I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THE MOST AMAZING PEOPLE ON THIS EARTH ARE GOING TO GO TO MY SCHOOL !", Vanessa screamed around in the livingroom while jumping.
Just than my mother barges into the room, her eyes wide. "WHAT HAPPENED ?!", she asked, making me remember the scene of this morning. Oh god, the memories.
"ASDFGHJKLZXCVBNM HAPPENED MOM !", Vanessa said, her eyes full of joy.
Of course my mom didn't understand anything of what she said. Not that I blame her though.
"I'll translate it mom.", I said. "R5 is going to go to our high school."
"Oh gosh, thank you Laura.", she smiled grateful. "Sometimes I feel like someone should make a dictionary for teenagers.."
"More like a Fangirl dictionary..", I mumbled while watching Vanessa still fangirling. Doesn't she ever get tired ?
"So, R5 is going to go to Marino High School?", my mother asked, trying to catch up what was happening.
"YESSS !", Vanessa beamed. "I'M GOING TO MEET RIKER LYNCH !"
I just rolled my eyes. "God, Vanessa. Stop overreacting.", I said in an annoyed tone while I watched my mother walking into the kitchen again, laughing at probably how childish Vanessa was.
Ignoring me, like most of the time when she's fangirling, she continued. "I mean, Ryland and Rocky are too young for me and Riker is just perfect... Oh my god, Ross would be perfect for you, Laura !", she turned to me with a wide grin.
"Oh yeah totes. We could make a double wedding too if you want to.", I said, making sure that every syllable was stated in full sarcasm.
"Oh my god yes !"
"Vanessa, are you acting that oblivious or- no, I just hope it's the first one.", I said.
"Oh come on Laura, he really would be perfect for you !", she squealed again.
"Dream on, Ness.", I said while turning around to leave the livingroom.
Too much jumping and squealing at once for me.
"I am dreaming, Laura.", I heard her say before my phone started ringing.
Saved by the phone.
I looked at the screen to see who it was before answering.
"What's up ?", I said.
"Oh my god, please tell me you saw the interview. Did you ?!", Raini asked from the other side.
"I wish I hadn't.", I mumbled more to myself than to her.
"R5. IS GOING TO GO TO OUR HIGH SCHOOL !", she screamed. "WE'RE TALKING ABOUT MARINO HIGH !"
"Yeah I know, I know.", I sighed.
"I mean, I know that education would get us somewhere and here we are; It's causing us to see our favourite band !", she said excited.
"I don't get why you guys are so obsessed with them. They are just five normal persons. Like any other human on this earth, with the same rights and so on.", I tried to put in while also turning to Vanessa, making her hear it too.
"They are waaay more than just 'normal' persons, Laura. Lives depend on them !", Vanessa said kind of overdramatising
I sighed at her before saying, "Well, I guess that I'll have to deal with it. I'm surrounded by idiots."
"What if you do start liking someone of R5 ?", Raini asked.
"Well, trust me, it wouldn't come that far.", I said.
"I'm just saying, Laura.. Nobody can resist the Lynch boys with those green and hazel eyes. You're like the only person I know who actually can.
"And it'll stay that way."
"Oh come on. I bet that you're going to fall for them. You're just too quick to judge.", Raini said.
"Wow wow wow wow wow, put liking to the side, how can you think that I'm going to fall for any of them ?", I asked.
"I'm just thinking out loud, Laura.", Raini said while I could literally hear how she was trying to contain her laughter.
"I mean, why not ?", Raini asked.
"Oh come on, why does it has to be that Ross guy ?", I whined. There are thousands of good looking boys out there and they choose a member of a band ?
"Because he's perfect for you.", Vanessa said while smiling like an idiot.
"How do you know that ?! You don't even know them, Vanessa.", I said while raising an eyebrow at how dumb all of this sounds to me right now.
"Trust me, I do. Like I could say that I know them better than they know themselves."
I looked at her before shaking my head and walking out of the livingroom with Raini still on the phone.
"Are you still asking yourself why you're single Ness ? Because I pretty much think all the answers were in these last 30 minutes.", I called over my shoulder.
