Why am I here? That's the one and only question revolving around my mind. Collapsed buildings surround my view, with some of them still on fire. My parents are nowhere to be seen and so is my friend. Either way... I have to keep going. I can only hear my own muffled screamings of their names as I walk through the debris.

In the near distance, I see a ginormous ship. The ship has a metallic exterior that gleams under the dim lighting. An otherworldly but deadly aura exudes from that vessel. Just what is inside of it?

Slowly but surely, I approach the ship with caution. I take a few steps forward, and the unexpected happens. I hear a loud explosion right behind me. Debris is flying everywhere. My first instinct is to run away from it, towards the ship where it's the only place I can hide under.

I can only duck under the ship, trembling in fear. 'When... When is this nightmare going to stop?'

After what seems like an eternity, the series of explosions finally comes to a halt. But somehow, I can't bring myself to come out. It's as if I'm glued to the spot. And I was right not to move away. I hear a mechanical whirring nearby. It sounds like a hatch opening. Fear and panic surged through my veins once more. As the hatch opens, someone or something starts speaking.

"Bring me the girl, now. We haven't got much time until everything is in ruins." The voice said authoritatively. Then, a horde of soldiers, presumably, starts to walk out of the vessel and scour the entire area to find the 'girl'.

I quickly sneak my way past them and hide behind a big pile of rubble. As they search the place, I take a little peek. Two of them are near me. I can either hide further away quietly or stay put until it's over. Before I make a decision, a weapon is suddenly pointed at me.

My heart dropped. "Stay where you are." One of the soldiers said. "Is this the girl?" It asks. Then another one answers, "Yes. Bring her inside."

Suddenly, I hear my parents muffled shoutings. Even if inaudible, it's enough to say that they're trying to protect me... "MOM, DAD! HELP-"

"Hang on sweetie! We'll save y-"

A laser beam from one of their weapons hit right on my mom's chest. My lips tremble in shock, seeing her halfway through running towards me with wide eyes no longer filled with life.

"NOOOOO-" Next, my... My dad. It pierced right through his head. I whimper at the sight of my parents killed on the spot. Their lifeless bodies lay there, the terrified expression of losing their child permanently glued.

"...Mommy? Daddy?..." I drop down on my knee. I shakily caress their faces in disbelief. The moment was interrupted when I feel a strong grip on my forearm.

"W-wait!! Please, don't take me -" I scream as I try my best to resist. But it's completely in vain. One of them tugs me towards the opened hatch. "Silence."

Even if every cell is my body wants to escape, I know better than to resist them. So whether I like it or not, I comply. I look back at my parents as they drag me into the ship. I haven't even had the chance to say a proper goodbye.

"Good. Bring her in," the same authoritative voice says. The two soldiers finally release their tight grasps on me. An automated voice sounded through the whole place as it signals its take off. The same person speaks again, "Enjoy your goodbye." A sick smile etched across her face.

The hatch finally closes as the air hisses from it, sealing my fate. I run to the nearest window and witness the ship taking off into the space. "N-no! I CAN'T LEAVE YET, PLEASE!" I beg to my knees in front of that figure. Tears start to fall down my face. "Please...." My voice gets softer as the sky is no longer blue. That figure only stood in front of me. "Oh, don't worry~ You'll be stuck here, safe and sound." A chuckle comes out. "Take her into the room," she pauses, then looks at me in the eye. "We'll meet again." As she walks away, the same two soldiers lock me up in a cell on the lower level of the ship. It's shrouded in darkness with nothing else in it. The metal walls already corroded. "NO, DON'T-"
