A Fated Reunion Among the Stars [Jing Yuan x F!Reader]

Prologue

PROLOGUE

"May the stars bless your journey."

Sounds of machines whirring and faint beeping could be heard across the ship. The countless galaxies and stars were scattered across the vast space. There, a lone small ship is sailing its way through it. 

"Oh, thank God.. That was close.." I breathed a sigh of relief for managing to escape from a gigantic abyssal creature from another planet. It was a close call, really. It almost ate the entire ship...

"Sigh, I should figure out where to go next..." I pondered while looking out of my ship's window. The mesmerizing view immediately put me in a trance-like state. Unfortunately, the moment of tranquility is cut short when I see a mysterious ship up ahead. It gave off an ominous and somehow.. a dreadful feeling. 

"What the..? What again?? Come on, man, I need a break here!!" I grunt in frustration. Can't the peace last longer? I just escaped from an abyssal monster not long ago! 

I quickly walk over to the pilot's seat, making sure everything's set for another jumpspace. "Okay... everything's - " Crash. The whole ship is shaking violently from the impact. It seems that the mysterious spacecraft has already made its move. I better escape now. 

I sit down on the pilot's seat and accelerate the ship. I maneuver it through the overwhelming amount of beams it's shooting. Just when I'm putting a greater distance between the both of us, another attack landed, successfully hitting my ship's main engine. This is bad.​​​​​ Really, bad. I curse under my breath and dive down in hopes of throwing off this mysterious ship from my trail. 

Suddenly, an unknown force is sucking my ship into... What seems to be a space rift? 

"The hell.." I say while looking back and forth, deciding whether I go into it or go back and face the other ship head on. It's either going into an unknown place through a hole where I could die or getting bombed by aliens and also die. Choose your poison.

At the last minute, I decide to go into that space rift. It's better that being endlessly chased by a ginormous ship to the corners of the space. I go into the space rift and shut my eyes, hoping for the best. A few seconds passed, and I opened my eyes again. It disappeared in the blink of an eye. Finally, I'm not in a dire situation anymore. "Thank goodne-"

Entering into the atmosphere of an unknown planet.

The automated voice sounded through the ship. Great, it seEmS that my luck is total shit. It isn't even a planet that has been registered in my data bank! Gradually, the ship went faster and faster towards the unknown planet. I brace myself as I get closer to land.

All I can hear now are broken devices crackling and a loud ringing sound in my ears. I open my eyes slowly and witness what my ship had become. I touch my head and feel something wet. Just as guessed, blood. Though I was too dazed to even care about it...

"Ugh..." 

I get up slowly and make my way outside of it. I open the door at the back of the ship to see a mass of aliens clamoring around. They don't seem... hostile. Instead, they seem to be talking to each other in a foreign language. I stand at the end of the ship while looking around. It isn't long until I'll probably black out...

"Where... Am I?..." I ask, taking another step outside of the ship. Then, my vision starts to fade into black and thud.
