Golden rays of light fills up the room, indicating that it's already morning. Jing Yuan is all dressed up. He goes to Y/N's room to check on her once again.

Knock, knock, knock.

"Y/N? Are you awake yet?" He asks. Hearing no response, he doesn't push it any further and leaves you to rest more. As he turns away from the door, he looks back and chuckles. "What a sleepy head you are."

An hour or so has passed. Only now do I wake up from a long, dreamless slumber. I rub my eyes and yawn. "Wait.. What... What time is it?" I ask to no one in particular. Quickly, I get up and hurrily wash up. It doesn't take long before I'm done. I get out of my room just to be greeted by Jing Yuan. My eyes widen slightly in surprise. "Oh, Jing Yuan... Sorry. Did I wake up too late?" I ask.

He only laughs in response, "It's quite alright, Y/N. You deserve the rest. Im sure it's been... Very tough for you," His expression switches to a more caring one, though it didn't last long... "But seriously, I still didn't expect you to sleep throughout the noon." He says with a stifled laughter. I raise an eyebrow at his remark. After a moment or two, he becomes more serious again. He clears his throat, "A-anyway... I want to take you for a short trip around here. Would you like to come look around with me?"

Without thinking, I answer, "Sure, why not? I also need to find stuff to fix the ship." I then smile at him, "Let's go now? Hehe.." He nods, "Mhm, let's go."

We both leave his house and set out to take a walk around here. The people here never cease to amaze me (I found the orange blob too again, hehe...). The longer we walk, the more similarities I find on this planet like Earth. Street vendors, shops, some infrastructures, and such.

"Y/N, I'm curious. Why do you choose to travel around the universe?" He asks. I think for a moment and say, "Huh.. About that," I pause as he looks at me intently. "I'm sure you know about the destruction of Earth, yes?" He nods, a solemn look flashes across his face. "I'm very familiar with it." I then continue again, "Long story short, I was taken by people that all themselves the 'Stellaron Hunters'. I was taken away after my parents had died during some of the explosions. I don't know where my best friend went either." We both stop in our tracks as the conversation starts to get heavier by the second.

I turn to look at him, "They dragged me into the ship. That's when everything really started to go downhill..." I sigh heavily, reliving old memories. "Y/N... If you don't feel comfortable, you don't need to continue," He says with concern and care. I shake my head, "It's okay, you asked anyway, and I chose to answer it. Anyway, one day, I found a way to escape from those people. It was do or die, almost costed my life." The last statement makes him even more concerned about me, but he says nothing. "I used that wrecked ship to escape. Ever since then, I chose to travel across the universe to find my best friend. Though it's probably not possible." I tighten my grip on my skirt, "I don't even know... What happened to him. He's probably dead long ago, but.. still. I'm not willing to give up on hope for him." My voice starts to crack, my eyes tearing up a bit. "The.. The problem is, I can't even remember how he looks like.. Or what his name was." A few tears rolled down my cheeks.

"I'm sorry, i-it may sound childish and -"

Without having to listen any longer, he wipes away my tears with his thumb. "Jing Yuan...?" I ask in slight confusion. He sighs in return with his eyebrows slightly knitted together. "Y/N," His hand not leaving my face. "It's not." He shakes his head slowly, "If you want," He speaks as he starts pulling me into a warm embrace. "I'll help you find your friend no matter what." That is all it takes for me to completely break down. No one... And I mean no one has ever done this for me. No words are enough to describe how I feel at the moment... I can only lean closer to him for comfort.
