[???]

Somewhere in the middle of the vast sea of space, there sails a relatively big ship. With cold, smooth metal on both the inside and the outside. A soft hum can be heard from a distance, but on the inside, it's filled with the hustle and bustles of people working. In one of the rooms stands a particular woman...

Crash.

The items on the table become the victim of her wrath. Documents scatter around the floor along with a broken wine glass. How could they lose such an important file in the first place?! She looks at two alien-like figures, demanding an explanation. One of them that has petite frane along with three green eyes and greyish skin kneels before her and says fearfully, "M-my lady..." Soon, the other figure with bright blue colored skin and tentacles follows. "It was d-due to the temporary power outage, it was also un -" She then slams the table with a book she has in hand. They both flinch in response to her action. "No... Not what I wanted to hear~" Her lips form into a twisted smile. Though in a split second, her face turns grim. "Why didn't you save it to the backup archive then?" Shaking like a leaf, both of them look down in shame. A deafening silence falls upon the room. She lets out an exasperated sigh, "Hopeless indeed." Walking closer to them, she curtly says, "Get out of my sight." Without further a due, they quickly take their leave. Dismayed, but not surprised, she watches them with eyes as sharp as a hawk's.

Clack.

With them away, she sighs once again and walks over to the window, leaning on her side against it. This time, her eyes are filled with boredom and just a glint of disappointment.  Despite that, her smile was no longer twisted. Instead, it becomes a gentle one. With a soft voice, she says, "Oh... How I wish to have you all for myself.." A shooting star passes by, lighting up her vacant eyes. Looking away from the window, she continues, "The script must go on either way..." Her side is no longer leaning against the window. Observing the mess she made, she speaks again, "I should get someone to clean this up~"

Walking out of her room, she closes the door behind her. Metallic walls along the ship reveal itself before her, seemingly cold and cruel at the same time. "Destiny will bring us together, sooner or later."  The sound of heels clacking echoes throughout the hall way as she head to an office. "I better prepare a welcome surprise~" A short chuckle follows the statement.

Knock, knock, knock.

"Come in." Somebody says from inside the office. She tilts her head as her lips curl up. "Permission to proceed?" It then replies, "Soon. Give it a few days." It stops briefly before completing the sentence. "Include her in the next scene, an entertainment every now and then should occupy her for a bit."

"I understand."

"Good. Go ahead, enjoy yourselves."

"Will do~" Her smile widens, and her eyes are filled with anticipation. The thrill just keeps building up inside of her. She walks out once more and enters a pin to a prohibited room where only certain people are allowed to enter. There lies something like a reactor. It has numerous pipes forming a network of connections. It gives off an ominous feeling... What it's used for is currently unknown. She observes the machine part by part with a hint of pride in her eyes.

'You will be ours.'

[End]

God knows how long it has been since I've fallen asleep. I stir awake slowly, fixing my posture a little. Letting out a soft grunt, I roll over to the side. I abruptly open my eyes as if expecting to faceplant on the floor. Instead, all I feel is the soft mattress underneath. I slightly lift up my head, 'Since when did I... Oh. It was him..' The faintest of smile appears at the realization of it, dropping my head back on the soft cushioning.
