We arrive on a tour to the Temple. This place is scary even in the light of day. People immediately lifted up their phones taking a million photos.

"Welcome to Yang's Haunted Temple, the historical landmark and former home of Sensei Yang, the notorious sensei without a pupil, infamous for creating the lost martial art of Airjitzu. Unfortunately, we can't take our tour groups inside, for rumors say anyone trapped inside its walls at sunrise, will be turned into a Ghost permanently. But, if you listen closely, maybe we'll be able to hear the Ghost of Sensei Yang himself looking for his lost pupils." The tour guide said grabbing onto the shoulders of a child dramatically.

"I HOPE IT'S NOT A RUMOR, FOR IT'S OUR ONLY HOPE!" Zane yelled making everyone look at us. I shook my head of embarrassment stepping to the side out of view.

I can't believe I got myself into this mess...

"Ah, sorry about my loud friend. He's a little hard of hearing." Cole apologized as people gave us harsh looks.

"Known for his un-" Patty clears her throat giving Zane a look. "usual teaching methods ..."

"I thought you said you fixed him?" Kai groaned to Jay who frowned shaking his head. "At least he's no longer talking backwards. I guess my tinkering got his volume level stuck, hehe."

"AT LEAST YOU CAN UNDERSTAND ME NOW!" Zane yelled in protest as I held my ears with my hands.

"... Dating back, ahem, to the Edo Period..." Patty spoke up giving another look to our group.

"Well, from now on, only speak if you have something really important to say." Cole stated taking charge.

"Who put you in charge?" Kai asked in small confusion. 

"I did. After you guys mucked it up, it's my turn to be in charge. And, like me, I like my plans simple. We sneak in, learn Airjitzu from the Ghost of Sensei Yang, then get out before sunup." Cole explained as I nodded seemed like a decent plan.

"I still don't understand why you need me I gave you the location." I put in as the ninja rolled their eyes.

"If it wasn't for you Lloyd would be here right now." Kai replied in a frustrated manner making me heart drop a little.

He is right though.

"Anyway Morro already knows Airjitzu, we just have to hope he hasn't figured out the next clue." Kai said a little bit after.

"Well, the sun is setting, which means we should head back to the bus. Wouldn't want anyone to turn into a Ghost." Patty joked as we stepped aside letting the group leave and go back on the bus.

I sighed sitting on a bench the wood creaking ever so often.

It would be dark soon.

"I didn't mean to snap at you." I heard from behind. Kai came into view sitting next to me. "Yes you did. You don't have to lie Kai, plus you're right... I messed up. Again."

"You've been through a lot." Kai spoke unsurely as I shook my head in disbelief. "No more then any of you."

Why was he trying to make excuses for me? "Kai I don't need your pity, I just- I wish I was like you."

"What do you mean?" Kai questioned in confusion.

"You're just so good." I explained in a serious tone, Kai has gone through so much yet never fell to evil. "And I'm trying not to take things so personal, but I have been searching for a cure for my whole life. My parents mean the world to me. They are suffering because of me I don't want anyone else to."
