The drenched blanket of night drifts over the bright stars, and a cold nip in the air. The only sound that was heard was the heart beating of a mare, a bat pony mare. Her name was moon drop, and she set out to find her destiny, her cutiemark.

The grass was wet, and a mist covered the forest as her hooves dropped in and out of the mud, and not a cloud was visible in the sky, with the moon shining brightly. Like a lullaby slowly calling out to her, while she drifted and wandered in her own thoughts. The trees bark was soggy and peeled, and the leaves from the thin branches drooping as the midnight dew was plucked from the leaf and fell to the watery ground.

Moon drop stopped, reaching her destination of a giant ravine with a broken bridge, and through the giant ravine was s raging river, rocks astray and picking up from the flowing water. The crashes waves slapping themselves onto the stone stalagmites. She nearly dropped her book at the sight, hesitantly grasping it before it fell, then sighed.

The mare flew over with ease, for there was no wind, or anything to hold her back. Landing on another muddy terrain. Heading for once the sisters castle, now an abandoned pile of rubble and vines, dust and darkness. But they held secrets, that no one else knew. She walked, and walked, with only a soft and welcoming rustle of a breeze, and finally arriving at the castle. The bat pony sat down right in front of the entrance, taking out the book once again, and the first passage of it read:

I've been seeing a drawing of three eyes around our new house. It was quite big, due to our family being rich from their labor and hard works that I joined in. They told me to pay no mind to the drawings, but I still haven't gotten my cutiemark, this started to worry me. A few weeks later, the drawings were all over the place, on my paper, my bed, I'm the kitchen, and even in the windows! The drawing got to the best of me and did not want to stay at this house any longer, so I requested that we move somewhere else. My mum and dad were against this idea, so I ran away at day when they were sleeping. Since then, I have ventured out to find my special talent...what could it be?

Drop finished reading the entry of her own book, and closed it. Entering the building, she trotted over to the library, carefully weaving her way through the traps. After hours and of hours of searching for it...

...She actually found it
