You woke up at 2 a.m. You did your workout in black, somewhat baggy, sports shorts that went to your knees, and an oversized, grey t-shirt. When your workout was done, at 5 a.m., you got dressed into blue jeans, an oracal turquoise t-shirt, a black hoodie, a somewhat heavy-duty jacket over the hoodie, and a pair of Bates GX-8 boots.
(Like Bucky in this:

"A cosplay without anyone knowing." you sighed to yourself, looking at yourself in your gray full-body mirror. You woke up Midnight and read to him till 6:30. "Happy Halloween." Billy muttered, barging into your room. You were unfazed and not one bit startled. "Happy Halloween my ass." you told him, putting a paperclip in your book, to mark your spot, and shutting it. "You don't like Halloween?" he asked. "Sometimes." you answered, "It depends." "Well," he started, "Anyway, Susan says I have to take you to school." You groaned in annoyance. "No," you stated simply. "Why?" he asked, irritated. "I have to take Dustin." You pushed past him. He grabbed your wrist. You winced in pain, and he tightened his grasp. "I. am. taking. you. to. school," he demanded. "Can we stop at the police department on the way? And Dustin needs a ride," you sighed, admitting defeat. "What the hell for?" he asked. "H-" you started. "Sure," he interrupted, not wanting an actual answer.
You got in the car, with your skateboard. Billy drove to pick up Dustin, then stopped at the police station on the way to school, as always. "Why are we at the police department?" Dustin asked. "If you move a single one of your tiny muscles, you're dead, got it?" You told him, walking inside. You walked over to Hopper. "Hi Dad," you smiled, hugging him tightly, then letting go. "Hey, sergeant," he smiled back, looking out the window, "I see Dustin is tagging along." "Yup," you sighed. You followed his eyes to Dustin who was sitting in the backseats. Dustin saw Hopper looking at him, gave him a toothless smile, and waved. Hopper slowly waved back. "Be nice to your mother," Hopper told you. "She's not my real mother," you said. "I know, but still," he sighed deeply. He kissed you on the forehead, "Later, Sergeant." "Later Dad." You went back outside and got back on your motorcycle. "So-" "Shut up," you told Dustin before Billy turned the car on and started to drive.
You arrived at school and skated inside, on your skateboard. The first period went by too fast. You saw Dustin and Lucas talking to Max and watched them fail at communicating, in the hallway. "...Yeah, we know where to get the full-sized candy bars. We figured you want in." Dustin smiled. "That's presumptuous of you," Max said with a straight face. "Yeah. Totally. So, you'll come?" Dustin smiled brightly. She rolled her eyes, closed her locker, and walked away. "We're meeting at the Maple Street cul-de-sac at 7," Dustin called. You walked over to Dustin. "Presumptuous: failing to observe the limits of what is permitted or appropriate," you whispered before walking away to your class.
School was amazing today. You talked with your math teacher for half the lunch period and spent the other half skating.
Billy drove Dustin home and went to your house. You then went to your room. You opened your phone and called your twin brother, Eddie. He picked up after 3 rings. "Hello?" he asked. "Hey, Ed, how's it goin'?" you asked. "I'm okay, you need anything?" he asked in a happy tone. "Yeah, Midnight says hi, and just making sure you're coming tonight?" you replied. He sighed. "Look, Blades, I'm really sorry, I can't make it," He groaned. "But Eddie-" "I'm really sorry, Blades." he exhaled, "How 'bout I'll come for Christmas? Or you could even come to my place?" "Yeah, sure, sounds fun," you said, trying not to sound too sad. "I'll call you tomorrow, OK?" he responded. "Yup, see ya then," you said. "Be nice to Claudia and Susan, I love you," he said before hanging up. You clenched your fists and flopped back on your bed. "I'll be OK," you promised yourself.
Dustin walked into your room. "What are you doin' here?" you asked sadly. "Hey..." he started, "so, I kinda heard your whole conversation and I just wanna see if you're OK-" "Dustin, can you please just...tonight's an alone night for me." you sighed quietly, "Go home." "And Midnight," he added. You gave him a sad but deadly glare. "Yeah, I'll go, bye," he said before closing the door and leaving.
You kept reading till 1:00 a.m.
There were two reasons you read to Midnight: 1. It seemed like Midnight liked the stories and enjoyed them. 2. It helped you with reading in front of crowds and your speech problems. Plus, you read good books, too.
You fell asleep at 1:05.
