After walking past Max, El hugged Joyce and asked to see Will. Joyce, of course, said yes, then you and Steve just went to another part of the house, and you told him all about El. Later, Steve went outside with Nancy, for whatever reason, and you just sat there, staring at the ceiling. El came over, even later, telling you that she had to go with Hopper. You gave her a big hug. "I know you can do this," you said, "Go out there, and be the best hero you can be," you told her, "Bitchin'." "Bitchin'," she repeated with a smile. With that, she said bye to Mike, and left.

After Jonathan, Nancy, Will, Joyce, El, and Hopper left, you helped Steve get a Demo-dog in the fridge for Dustin. "Is this really necessary?" You asked, the Demo-dog wrapped in cloth, in your arms. "Yes, it is, okay?" Dustin said, "This is a ground-breaking scientific discovery. We can't just bury it like some common mammal, okay? It's not a dog." "Okay, okay, jeez," you sighed. shoving it in the fridge, "You're explaining it to Ms. Byers, though." You closed the fridge door, just before the Demo-dog fell out.

Lucas was yelling at Mike in the other room, and you, Steve, and Dustin came over. "That place is swarming with hundreds of those dogs!" Mike yelled. "Demo-dogs," you and Dustin corrected. "The chief will take care of her," Lucas replied. "Like she needs protection," Max scoffed. "Look, if a coach calls a play in a game, bottom line, you execute it, all right?" Steve said. "Okay, first of all, this isn't some stupid sports game," Mike protested, "And second, we're not even in the game, we're on the bench." "That's the point," you said, "We're on the bench. But, even on the bench, you can still help by cheering for your team." You looked at Dustin. A shot of realization shot through his body."The hive mind," you and Dustin said at the same time. "I got it!" Dustin exclaimed, walking to the other room, pointing at part of the map, that Will drew, "This is where the Chief dug his hole, This is our way into the tunnel." "So, if we were to go from there to here," you said, going to the hive mind of the map, "We could set it on fire, or some shit."

Suddenly, you heard a revving engine. It sounded exactly like Billy's car. Everyone went to the window. "It's Billy," you sighed, getting up and pacing. "Holy shit, I'm dead!" you panicked, "He's gonna kill me! I'm gonna get the worst beating ever! I shoulda just stayed home-" "Hey, that's not gonna happen," Steve said, grabbing you by the shoulders. "No, you don't know Billy like I do," you said, "If I'm extremely lucky, he'll let me stay, only after he gives me a stage 5 concussion." Steve gave you a serious look, then went outside. All you heard was the indistinct chatter of Steve and Billy. Billy barged inside, you standing defenseless. Dustin, Lucas, and Max were hiding as you told them to. Billy grabbed you by the collar and slammed you against the wall. "I told you to be back by today," he seethed, "You disobeyed me. and you know what happens when you disobey me." He punched you across the face. You tried your best not to wince. You felt the bruising. Steve grabbed Billy's shoulder, flipped him around, and punched him in the face. Billy laughed your same maniacal laughter. "Steve, just let me handle this," you said, walking over. "Get out," Steve demanded. You pushed Steve away, just in time for Billy's punch to hit you, instead of Steve. You punched Billy back. 3 times. He was backed onto the kitchen counter. He grabbed a plate and smashed it on your face. You were bleeding badly. The glass was in your skin. You stumbled backward, giving Billy the opportunity, which he took, to punch you again. He held you, again, by your collar, and, purposely, smashed his head into yours, making you fall to the ground. You got up again, but Billy kicked you in the ribs. You heard a few cracks, meaning he broke a few ribs. This time, you fell to the ground and couldn't get back up. Billy flipped you on your back and started punching you. He was straddling you (I know how weird that sounds). "Please, just let me stay," you choked out, blood pouring out of your mouth, "You can tell Neil and Susan that I'm just staying at my friend's house." Billy kept punching you. That usually meant yes. If he said "No", that meant"no", but if he stayed silent, that meant "yes". He kept punching you until you lost consciousness, and your vision went black.
