That night, you, Max, and El looked at a bunch of your Hawkeye comic books. You had every single Marvel book ever to exist. You did your usual bedtime and morning routine. In the morning, you got a text from Steve that read "We need ur help. meet @ scoops ahoy in 10 mins". You were dressed in the same thing as yesterday. You left a note for Max and El: "Be out of my house by 9 or Billy will murder you, and therefore, me, 'cause I let you stay the night." Right when you were leaving, Max woke up. "Where are you going?" Max mumbled. "I'll be with Steve all day," you said. "Oooooh, your boyfriend," she teased. "He's not my boyfriend," you protested. "Just wait and see," she smirked. You rolled your eyes and left with your backpack.

You met Steve at Scoops Ahoy 5 minutes later. You did your secret handshake with Steve. You, Dustin, Steve, and Robin discussed a plan of how to sneak into a secret Russian base thingy. All of a sudden, Robin got up and grabbed all the money out of the tip jar. "Hey! Half of that's mine!" Steve called. "I'll be back in 10! Blade, make sure they don't kill themselves!" Robin hollered. You gave her a thumbs up and she ran away.

"So how long have you been speaking Russian?" Steve asked, after a long silence. "I learned Russian before English when I was 2," you answered. "How'd you learn?" he asked. "My second cousin, Dmitri," you answered. "D- who?" Steve asked, clueless. "He goes by Enzo."

Ten minutes later, Robin showed up. You all went to the back. "It is fascinating what 20 bucks will get you at the county recorder's office," Robin exclaimed, spreading out the blueprints of the whole entire Starcourt Mall on the table, "This is up, Scoops" - she pointed to the right spot on the blueprints, then she pointed to another spot - "And this is where we want to get." "I don't really see a way in," Steve muttered. "There's not," you stated, "If you're talking exclusively about doors." Robin took the top sheet off the blueprints, revealing all the vents. "This secret room needs air, just like any room. And the vents lead to wherever we're trying to get." You grabbed the screwdriver from under the sink, the flashlight, and a ladder. You put the ladder against the wall where the vent was. You climbed the ladder and easily unscrewed the cover off the vent. "You sure you can fit in there?" you asked Dustin, climbing down the ladder. "Yeah, no collarbones, remember?" Dustin asked, climbing into the vent. "Excuse me, what?" Robin asked. "Yeah, he's got some disease," Steve started, pushing Dustin into the vent, "Chrydo...umm, I don't remember what it's called." Steve looked at you for help. "Cleidocranial dysostosis," you stated. "What she said," Steve added. Steve struggled pushing Dustin inside.

"Ahoy! All hands on deck!" Erica called. Erica was Lucas's little bitchy sister. She always came for free samples 'cause she wouldn't buy anything. Robin smirked. You could practically read her mind. Robin pulled Erica to the back while Steve got Dustin out. After Robin explained everything, Erica took a look into the vent. "Yeah, I don't know," she said, looking at you all. "You don't know if you can fit?" Dustin asked. "She can fit, jackass," you whispered to him. "I just don't know if I want to," she said. "Are you claustrophobic?" Robin asked, completely over this kid's shit. "I don't have phobias," Erica snickered. "Then, what's the problem?" Steve asked. "The problem is..." she sassed, "I still haven't heard what's in this for Erica." "Did you just talk about yourself in third person?" you asked. "What's third person?" she asked. You sighed. You and Steve stayed in the back while Robin and Dustin tried to convince her.

That night, you, Dustin, Steve, and Robin stayed on the roof with a radio transmitter. Erica also had a radio transmitter. "Erica, do you copy?" Robin asked into the transmitter. "Mmm-hmm, you nerds in position or what?" Erica sassed. "All clear, you have a green light," Robin said. "Commence Operation Child Endangerment," Erica replied, getting into the vent. She crawled around until she was where you needed her. "I'm here, nerds, now what?" Erica asked. "See anything?" Robin responded. "I see those boring boxes you're so excited about," Erica added. "Guards?" "Nope." "Booby traps?" "If I could see them, they would be really shitty traps, don't you think?" Erica got out of the vent and opened the door. You all got down there as fast as possible.

Once inside, you grabbed your pocket knife from the side pocket of your backpack and opened the box. There were shiny containers inside. You turned the switch and took the lid off. There were 4 containers inside, identical to the big one. You turned the switch and pulled out a small, glass vat of green liquid. "That's definitely not Chinese food," Steve said. The room shook. "Was that just me or did the room move?" Dustin asked. "Let's just take that and get out of here," Robin ordered. Dustin repeatedly pressed the "open door" button, but nothing happened. "Shit, we're screwed," you mumbled. The room shook again, then it started moving down. It was going, what looked like, a hundred miles per hour. Everyone, except for you and Steve, started screaming. "Oh, fuck," you and Steve muttered in sync.
