9 Months Later

It was a late Saturday Morning. You were reading in your room. You just finished a chapter and you checked the time. 11:30. 𝘚𝘩𝘪𝘵! You put a paperclip in your book, to mark your spot, and shut it. You quickly tied your shoes and ran out of your room. You were wearing black jeans and a plain white T-shirt. "I gotta go, Billy! I might not be back till tomorrow!" You called, running out of the house, "Later!" He hollered back.

You started running to Dustin's house, not having the patience to start your motorcycle. Once you got there, Dustin was just getting out of his car, meaning he just got there. You weren't late, after all. You both locked eyes. You dropped his backpack and box, and ran to you, as you were already running to him. You both hugged each other as tight as possible, a few tears in both of your eyes. "I missed you so fucking much," you said, your voice muffled by his shoulder. "I missed you too," he said. You both laughed and let go of each other. You wiped your tears away, as did he. "How was it?" You asked, excitedly. "Guess what?" He asked, his eyes dying to tell you something extremely important, "I got a girlfriend!" "Holy shit! You got a girlfriend?!" You exclaimed, a huge smile on your face. "Hell yeah, I did!" He grinned. You hugged him again. "That's fucking amazing!" You said.

You helped him carry his stuff inside. "I'll be right back," you said, walking to the other room. In the other room, Mike, Lucas, Max, and El were waiting for your signal to start "Operation Welcome Dustin". You went over to them and gave them a thumbs up. El started moving Dustin's robots with her mind. She led them to the living room, Dustin following with no defense whatsoever. Once he was far enough, everybody jumped from their hiding spots and yelled " Welcome back, Dustin!!!".

A little later, Dustin showed everyone all his inventions from summer camp. The last invention he showed you was "Cerebro". "It's an unassembled, one-of-a-kind radio tower," he explained, "It can reach vast distances. I'm talking north pole to south." Dustin grabbed the bag it was in, and started walking outside. "Where you goin'?" Lucas asked. "To talk to my girlfriend, c'mon, let's go," he said. "Girlfriend?!" Everyone, except you, exclaimed. "Yeah, Suzie with a Z. She's from Utah. Let's go," Dustin said, walking out the door. The whole way there, Dustin was talking non-stop about Suzie.

Dustin led everyone to a giant hill, where everyone helped set up Cerebro. Mike and El had to leave, which was bullshit. Mike was obviously lying, just so he could spend more time with El. It was almost dark by the time you all finished. "Ready to meet my love?" Dustin smirked. He switched the radio on. "Suzie? Do you copy? This is Dustin. Over," he said into the communicator. No response. He repeated the same thing. Still no answer. You sat down beside him. He kept saying the same thing for an hour. When that hour was up, Lucas, Will, and Max had to leave. A while later, you heard something over the radio transmitter. It was Russian. You knew Russian. Your second cousin, Enzo, on your mom's side, taught you Russian. Dustin recorded it. He started freaking out about it all night until he fell asleep. You smiled at him and picked him up bridal style. You carried him miles to his house.

You asked Claudia if you could stay the night, and she said yes. You spent the night there, on the floor in Dustin's room.
