I ran as fast as I can but where again I had to go. Amelia dumbo

He told me to meet at GS ward but there are like total 10 Wards. At least he should have told me the number. I ran and check every ward finding him but he was nowhere to be found at last I found him in second last ward ,ninth ward .

Let me ask you a question how a person would look when he/she run for 13 minute, yes ,exactly thirteen I counted, just after snoring for one and half an hour and toppings on cake he/she had never ran this much like for an year.

Correct! like a half dead dog. I was sweating heavily even after hospital's ACs are working perfectly. My hairs were totally messed up, small strands were coming out from my bun and my eyes, barely open, and in this state I was standing in front of Dr.Ian,resident and nurses, too many people.How embarrassing.

Dr.Ian looked at me up and down and also other juniors and seniors beside him like, I am some kind of joker.

Thank god we were outside the ward. At least patients doesn't saw me like this.

"You are late Ms.Benett?" Came his voice.

I can detect the annoyance behind his calm tone.

"Sorry sir I didn't knew which ward I had to come and i also...."

"Ms.Benett I am not here to listen any excuses. What had I told you?"

I hung my head down.

"What I had told you Ms.Benett"

In a very low voice I replied him " Meet you at Sharp two in GS ward"

"And you are here at?"

"2:34" I kept my eyes on ground.

"You are thirty four minute late. And on top of that what's with your state. Is this how you were going to go in front of patients. You yourself is looking like a patient rather than a doctor." He yelled.

My eyes started watering a little. I was feeling embarrassed as whole corridor could listen his voice. I could feel everyone's eyes on me.

Everyone was watching me. All the juniors, nurses and even the passer-by.

"Sorry sir" My voice wobbled.

"Sorry doesn't fix things Ms.Benett." He snapped at me.

"I had decided to give history record of patients to help you but now after this little stunt you pulled I like you to take history of every patient of ward on your own and also to memorise it by today."

Is he serious? How am I gonna do this by today?

By looks Amelia he is serious.

"Sir how am I gonna take history of every patient. There are like more than 100 patients if we count every ward." I asked him keeping my eyes down.

The other juniors chuckled behind him.

"Miss Benett" he took my name in a very annoyed tone.

"Why would you take history of other ward's patient?"

"I mean you said right now." I replied in a very low voice.

I could feel his tolerance level reaching its high point. He was controlling himself.

"Did Ryan not told you that my ward number is nine. Other wards are handled by other seniors. And even though If you want to take history of other ward patients be my guest."
