My Arrogant Senior

Final Warning

I walked into the hospital and went towards my lifeline in this profession.

 Coffee. Most of the doctor here starts their day by a cup of coffee. It keeps us refreshed and also awake.

There I found Avie who also was buying the coffee but not one cup.

"Hi Avie."

"Hlo" she said tiredly. Her eyes were puffy with dark circles underneath it. Her body was slouchy like she haven't slept for days.

"What's happening with you? Are you all right ?"

"Are they treating you that badly."

Like seriously, she was so happy when we get transferred here. She was excited about working in new hospital learning things from gynae department but now look at her all the excitement is drained from her face. She looks like some kind of prisoner who got locked in this prison like hospital.

"Can't help it." She stated sadly. 

"This hospital have more patient load then our previous one and you know we are the junior most so all the running, paperwork, history taking, night shifts we have to do it. And also after Alex sir's incident I have to be more careful not for me but for him."

She is right we are the most junior one and also in juniors,  fresh one, no friends or good relations with seniors. We are still in knowing phase. Other interns here are working for months now they and seniors know each other or could say in talking phase. we are at a kind of disadvantage. However my situation is not bad like Avie. 

I never had to bring coffee for my seniors till now. I have seen it's normal for an intern to bring coffee for senior but not in my case. No senior in my group ever told me to bring coffee. Sometimes when I just go to buy something for myself they just request to bring for them also. That's it, they even pay for my food also. Poor Avie.

"Sorry Amelia. I'll talk to you later. I have errands to run. Bye." And with that she left me with my coffee and thoughts.

 I looked at my watch and it's only 8:50 I have ten more minutes to pass before my ward duty starts so I decided to drink my coffee in peace. I sat on one of the chairs of cafeteria with coffee in my one hand and phone one other and start reading latest updates. 

As I was sipping last of my coffee I saw Lily coming out from lift. She was blindly walking towards Gynae department lost in her own thoughts. If anyone see her from afar they will think that she is worried about her loved ones. But only I know the truth or Ian sir also. 

Should I follow her and see where is she going or whom she meets? 

 "Miss Benett. you are out of this case. You will not say or do anything about 

"And don't you dare to defy me. As you will not love the consequences."

I recall Ian sir's words. I should probably not get involved in this. I already have done lots of attention grabbling scenes. Now I should avoid all this and focus on my internship and prepare myself for pg. who cares where she go and whom she meets Maybe she is going for general checkup. Who cares.

I finished my coffee and left for my ward duty. My morning duty went well. I Checked all the patient one by one, also went for OPD even though it was not my da to cover up for Ryan for one as he had to go somewhere . I submitted all the reports to Ian sir by Time on his desk. 

During lunch seniors treated me and Ryan in canteen. We went all out and ordered different type of things to eat. 

After I finished my lunch I decided to study for one hour and then go to ward round before Ian sir's evening round. But as I was going to staff room I heard someone arguing.
