Zhang hao woke up feeling dizzy, trying to stable himself adjusting to the light of the surroundings, he realised he was in the medical room, his wounds cleaned up along with his clothes.

" oh your awake" he heard the nurse say, he nodded slightly before questioning her

" who brought me here? " zhang hao genuinely wanted to know since the alley wasn't well known to everyone, it was isolated.

" Ah, it was matthew, I assume you know him since he's from f5, don't you? He left immediately saying he had to go somewhere and felt sorry though" the nurse said while checking on zhang hao's wounds.

Matthew...? I think I heard it somewhere? I need to thank him and repay the favour..I only heard about f5 but never wanted to meet them though... I want to stay away from unwanted attention..but thanking him is a must...I'll do it tomorrow

After the nurse was done, she prescribed me some medicines, I was thankful she didn't question the reason for the wounds though, I thanked her before leaving.

I turned my phone only to be met by horror....25 missed calls from mom..I'm about to be dead I suppose.. it took me less than a second to run towards the bus station to head home... I was dead nervous the whole time.

I reached home and ran inside and found my mom in the living room, I ran to her to explain only to be met by my father dragging me from back suddenly and pushing me against the wall.

I was shocked but not surprised, i hit the wall hardly, he took out a wooden stick and started to slash me until I couldn't cry anymore, he finally stopped and bent down to my level before saying

" your gonna have a sister, your cousin is moving here, she's my daughter from now onwards, you will serve whatever she needs, get it? " he yells before leaving the room.

My mom walked towards me before saying " I regret having you, maybe your cousin might not be blood related but she's better than you, don't be surprised if she's treated as my own kid more than you are " she left after spewing those words

' why.... I can't bear having aera as my step sister now...not now...' I dragged myself to the room before falling on the bed with tears all over my face, maybe fighting with the world wasn't a good option after all, should've never stayed in the first place... I fell asleep while grieving on my own self

' you don't have to suffer alone... I'm here for you... hold my hand, let me ease your pain....'

' What if that person ends up being your worst pain?'

I woke up panting hard, what was that? I saw someone trying to save me in my dream at the same time he would be my worst pain? No it's just a mere dream, why am I getting worked up, I should go back to sleep...
