" Babe what's wrong?"
Ashton looks at me confused.
" Oh. My. God. You remember Maria right? Well Luke's ex girlfriend is in town and I just caught them hanging out and Maria doesn't like anything with a living vagina next to him so like she's going to flip and ugh she's going to be so mad."
His eyes widen.
" Okay one more time and thus time slow down a bit. now what did you say?"
" Umm nothing forget it."
" Tell me. Cmon I want to know."
" Nothing sorry forget it. Hey um where did you say you were leaving to?"
" Oh right were going to Australia. the trip is half business and the other half is family. I'm Australian you know."
" No really? I couldn't tell with the accent and all, Mr. All Australian "
He goes on about the trip while I put in my best fake smile. He probably thinks that I'm stupid for freaking out about Taylor. that's kinda why I shut down. I do that a lot even to Maria. I guess I'm just afraid of looking stupid in front of people so when ever I say something a bail from it and stop talking in fear that I will make my self look even more stupid then I already do.
Anyway back to this Taylor girl. Maria's not going to be so happy with this one. Last time one of his exes gave him a hug and she almost ripped off her face. yeah I guess you can say that she's a bit... Possessive. She even gets mad when I hug him or when ever he kisses me on my forehead. I don't think she does it on purpose though cause she knows that he's been doing that before they were dating and she knows that he loves her and only her. I guess you can say it's a sort of reflex.
" Yeah and I think I'm getting a lip ring and I'm having the baby in like a month." I hear from Ashton's mouth.
" Wait what? "
" Oh so you were listening? Cmon what are you thinking about? You kind of zoned out a bit."
" It's nothing. You'll think I'm stupid for reacting the way I did. it's doesn't matter."
" obviously it matters silly or you wouldnt be worring your pretty little head about it. Now cmon tell me."
" No it's fine I'm probably stupid for fangirling anyway."
" I will never think you're stupid okay? I love you- when you fan girl it's so adorable." He says while pulling his hair like he's nervous. he's watching me like he's waiting for a reaction to come from what he just said, like he just said something he didn't want me to hear. I shrug it off.
" Eww stop I'm not adorable. I'm ugly and I'm evil. You should be scared of me."
" Sorry. I can't me afraid of someone as- ADORABLE AS YOU!" He screams then tackles me onto the couch. I swear this kid really thinks that he's the dominant one. Tsk tsk tsk will this child ever learn? I play along for now.

" Okay fine. so you remember Maria right? Well like lets just say she has a lot of bad blood ( 😂👋🏻 literally crying right now ) with Luke's ex girlfriends and like one of his exes is here and I saw them hanging out. I mean I have no problem with it but Maria might not like it because he never told her about Taylor. He never told her because like he used to think that Taylor was the one. Like him and Taylor were inseparable so if Maria here's about her she's going to be pissed, one because he kept it from her like he had something to hide and two because now we're all going to have to deal with Maria in beast mode which is going to really suck so umm good luck."
He just laughs.
" Wow she sounds like a feisty one."
Wow can this kid be anymore of a dork. like honestly give him glasses with tape in the middle and he would be the perfect dork.
" Thank you for that captain obvious. now come on I've had what you could say a long day at work lets watch some Netflix.

ASHTON'S POV.
" I love you - when you fan girl it's so adorable."
Nice save Ashton. Dumb ass you almost let it slip. I can't tell her yet. She will probably think that I'm moving too fast. she will probably laugh or I'll end up scaring her away. I'm not letting that Happen. I would rather die then lose her. She's amazing, with her deep brown eyes, amazing brown curly hair with that one adorable streak of blonde highlight. ugh she's just perfect. I guess you can call me lucky cause in the end I'm a six and she's a ten. Everything about her is just perfect. i put her in my bed after watching Netflix. ( more like I watched and she screamed because she had her eyes covered half the time cause she was scared ) and stayed there till she fell asleep. the moment she fell asleep I went to use the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror. I look at my disgusting face. gross. then I look at my body. disgusting. Then I look over and see my beautiful girlfriend sleeping on my bed. She's perfect. she could have any guy she wanted, yet she picked me instead. but why? I was so far from perfect, so far from what she deserves, yet she still wants me, why? I bet she's just doing it out of pity. I'm such a fuck up. my body is disgusting, my family hates me, and to make it worse I have to see the man I call my father in about a week ugh I hate him. he would always call me names when I was younger and would beat me everyday when I got home. the bruises faded away but the memories stayed. I have scars to prove it. I lift up my sleeve and scoff in disgust.
" Look at you. Not only were you fucked up now you've gone and fucked up your wrist too. You're a fucking joke. might as well fuck it up some more cause those are going to be there forever. I glance at her in my bed and quietly close the door. I pull out my blade from under my sink and slowly start the water in my sink. after 2 or 3 deep cuts I start to feel dizzy. I sit on the floor , blood still oozing from my skin , and closed my eyes till I felt nothing and finally passed out.

I wake up around a little pool of my blood. the water in the sink is still running I clean up my arm and as soon as I'm about to start cleaning the pool of blood alyssa walks into the bathroom. oh shit.
" Babe babe babe! What are you doing?!"
" Oh my god I'm sorry I thought you were down stairs. What are you-"
Before she could finish her sentence I backed her out of the bathroom making sure that her eyes stayed on me and didn't land in the blood. I shut the door behind me.
" Princess wait for me downstairs okay? I'll be down in a minute." She nods confused and walks down stairs without another word. wow that was close. I clean up the blood , being extra carful not to leave any traces , changes my shirt and went down stairs.
She's waiting for me on the couch watching the night mare before Christmas on netflix.
" And I JACK the pumpkin king, have grown so weary of the same old thing." I hear her say then giggle at the end. she's so adorable I just want to bite her face.
" I think pumpkin queen is better." she jumps , pauses the movie and whips her head around. her face gets red as she blushes and smiles looking down. yup that's my girlfriend guys. the most adorable little lazy monkey butt thing I've ever met.
" Cmon babe lets make some breakfast. you can go back to watching your cartoons
later. "
She makes the most adorable little pouty face gets up and walks over to me with her arms crossed.
" Awe is the little baby upset?" I tease her and she just sticks her tongue out at me. ugh she's great.

Oh my god. he's leaving in like three days. I cant do this guys.
" Maria he's leaving in three days what do i do?"
me maria and Calum all went for milk shakes. Im freaking out, maria is trying to calm me down and for whatever reason, Calum is just staring into his cup making bubbles and giggling once in a while.
" theres really nothing you can do but spend all day with him. I mean all day." shes right. ive got to be with him 24/7 if im going to have any chance of surviving these 5 next five months. I can hear Calum blowing bubbles and making a mess next to me.
" Umm do you mind? I'm trying to have a melt down here. You're not helping. WHAT SHOULD I DO?!" I whine.
" Do you really want my opinion?"
" No Calum I just asked for your opinion because I don't want it, of course I want your opinion."
" You could always just sleep with him. Show him that you belong to him. "
" Like sex? Yeah right hood, I'm not sure he's ready for that yet but nice try."
" Is that the lies he be feeding you for breakfast?" Before I could say anything back Clifford walks through the door. He sees us and smirks. ugh I can't stand him.
" Hey guys how's it going? I can see Calums already made a mess. "
Maria and Calum laugh while I give him a dirty look. He smirks back in return. He looks at. My neck and sees the hickey , what's left of it anyway, and gives an evil smile. everyone thinks it's from Ashton so I wasn't worried about it till now. if he tells them that it was really him he's going to make me seem like the bad one.
" Hey less when is Ashton leaving? "
I mumble three days and take a sip of my milk shake. I can't even look at him right now.
" Oh, well I see he's marked you up pretty good huh? Guess he wants people to know you're still his even when he leaves."
He's talking about the hickey that he gave me. He knows what he's doing but Maria and Calum are completely oblivious. they laugh at his remark while I pretend to act embarrassed and laugh along with them. pretending wasn't hard though. I've pretended I was fine to keep people from asking me what was wrong and from hurting them so I guess pretending is like a 6th sense for me.
I mess around with my phone and make it ring so it looks like someone is calling me. I fake answer it say yea okay and I'll be there soon a few times.
" Hey guys I have to go but I'll see you later. bye guys."
I give Calum a hug and he makes that face that's just so cute, I give Maria a hug and we have a quick eye conversation about how adorable he is. in a way I have to hum Michael so Maria and him won't think something's wrong. I try to make it quick but he hold me tighter to whisper something to me.
" Who are you going to run to when you little fuck boy isn't here?"
He lets me go and I get into my car. I start to cry. ugh why am I so weak? Why do I have to be such a weak little girl? I fucking hate it. I decide that I just need to drive, calm down. I'm speeding down the highway going from 90 to 105 mph. I call Ashton and tell him I won't be around till late and he says a very quite okay.

ASHTON POV.
Where does she go? Who is she with? What's does she do with them? Is she cheating on me? All these questions running through my head while my blood runs down my arm and the water runs from the sink. it's been hours since she last talked to me and I'm starting to get worried she sounded fine on the phone so she couldn't be in trouble. maybe she is cheating on me. I wouldn't blame her though. I'm just not good enough. I'm surprised she actually said yes to me. I clean myself and the floor up. I think I've spilled more of my own blood on my floors then water. It doesn't matter though. No one cares about it. my phone starts to ring.
" but I got to tell you something, I really really really really really really like you." starts to play as my ring tone. shut up don't judge me I was just in the moment.
" Hey babe what's up?"
" Hi would you mind telling me your name mr..." Said another lady on the other line that wasn't my girlfriend.
" Irwin. The names Ashton irwin. "
" Okay mr. Irwin. do you have any relation with ms. Santos?"
" Yea why what happened?"
" Well the doctor asked me to contact her parents through her phone cause she can't really speak so I just called the last person she called. do you know her parents number?"
" Wait what!? What's happened?! Is she okay?!"
" Please sir relax. Take a deep breath. Now if you could get ahold of her parents or anyone that should know she's here I would greatly appreciate it but I have to go."
Without another word she hung up the phone. what the actual fuck is going on here?!
I quickly throw on some shoes and speed down to her fathers house. I go to knock on the door but it was already open. I walk in and see mr.santos sitting on the couch staring at the floor with 3 empty bottles on the floor and a half empty one in his hand. Oh great.
" Umm Mr.santos, my name is Ashton Irwin. I'm currently umm dating your daughter and I just got a call from the hospital so we need to get there like now."
He just looks at me and I can see the stream of dried tears on his cheeks and I can see more tears forming in his eyes. he just shakes his head and goes back to drinking.
" She doesn't want to see me. I'm not going."
Wow I've never had to be the strong one but there's no time for my depression we need to get to the hospital like now.
" Cmon I need you to get dressed and get into my car right now. there's no way you're driving. so cmon lets go you e got five minutes to clean your self up."
Holy crap this is weird. I'm used to being the one that got bossed around not the other way around.
" She fucking hates me don't you get it? She would rather die then see me."
" How do you think she's going to feel if she's in the hospital and you don't even show up to see if she's going to me okay? Look I don't know what happened between the two of you but all I know is you need to get that ass up from the couch , get ready , and get to the hospital understood?" ( well someone's a bit feisty.)
Without another word he gets up gets dressed and we make out way to the hospital.

" She's in room 217 ."
" Thank you."
We practically run to her room and as we're about to walk in one of the doctors walks out.
" Umm hi is this Alyssa's room."
" Yes it is. are you the Mr. Irwin I talked to earlier?"
" Yes and this is her father. is she alright?"
" Yea she's going to be okay. She crashed into a pole and was knocked unconscious. she's got a cut on her forehead and she's pretty bruised up but she will look good as new in a week or two."
I thank her and she walks away. we walk into her room and she appears to be sleeping. she's faking it though. I can tell, she's done it to me to try to scare me. I walk over to her side of the bed first and see the smile on her face. she smiles when she s pretending that's how I know she isnt sleeping. Her father speaks up.
" Sweet heart? It me dad."
Her smile instantly drops. Her father can't see that though. He walks to the other side of the bed. he simply as his hand on her and walks out of the room without another word.
I bend down in front of her and whisper to her.
" He's gone now. you can stop pretending to sleep."
She flutters her eyes open.
" Why is he here? I don't want him here. He needs to leave."
Her hears rate monitor thing starts to beep faster.
" Hey hey hey babe relax he's gone I have to take him home he's drunk. I'll be right back I have to bring him home and I'll come right back I promise."
ALYSSA POV.
I nod okay he kisses my fore head and walks out of the room.
" boyfriend?" I hear a some one say as they walk into the room.
" Huh? Oh yea." I say and I can feel my face getting red.
I pull up my sleeves cause it got hot and he looks at them then quickly looks away trying not to make me uncomfortable. He tells me that I can leave the day after tomorrow if I want and attempts to walk out of the room. Awe man the day before he leaves I'm stuck in here. this is great.
" does he know? "
I try to play it off as if I have no idea what he's talking about to no avail.
" No and he's never going to know. I don't care what it takes I won't let him see it. "
" Does he make you happy? Can he instantly cheer you up? " he asked me. where was he going with this?
" He makes me extremely happy. "
" Then why do you cut yourself ? " I open my mouth to answer the question but I close it quickly. I didn't have the answer myself.
Without another word he walks out of the room and I stare into my lap replaying that same question over and over again. why?

" SURPRISE! " I can hear multiple people in my hospital room scream. I open my eyes to see Maria calum Luke and Ashton in the room.
" Way to give me a heart attack guys."
We all laugh and quickly quiet down before we get in trouble.
" So umm what are all the balloons and stuff for."
Ashton's standing In a corner holding like a million multi-colored balloons in one hand and like 4 stuffed animals in the other. holy crap you would think Ive been in here for weeks.
Maria cal and Luke shuffle side ways so that Ashton is more visible. I can see the tint of red in his cheeks while he looks down and tries to cover his face with the balloons.
He ties the balloons to my arm like I'm a kid and tells the rest of them to leave.
" Uh oh am I in trouble... Daddy?" I say and make the face he can't resist. he stiffens a bit and I can tell he's trying everything in his power not to attack me.
" I'm taking you home today but first, ( lemme take a selfie 😂😂😂😂) tell me what happened. "
I really don't want to do this right now not the best time.
" Later baby later. right now I just want to go home - I mean your house."
" Baby girl that can be your home if you want? When I leave you can live there and when I come back you can live with me. Only if you want of course I wont force you." Okay so that's basically him saying that he would love it but trying to make it seem like he's not overly excited in case I shut him down right? Right.
" Sure babe cmon lets go. "
He leans in to kiss me. when our lips collide I can feel my face start to burn but in a good way. he places his large hands on my sleeve covered arms and I wince in pain. when he heard my cry he instantly pulls back and lifts his arms over his head.
" Oh my god I'm so sorry what did I do? What happened? I'm sorry I didn't mean-"
I roll my eyes grabbed him by the collar of his flannel and roughly pulled him into a hard kiss.
" Umm, what?"
" Well I mean you wouldn't stop babbling so I had to shut you up some how did it work?"
" I don't know you tell me." and he kisses me again.
" But seriously what happened, why did you cry out in pain?"
" Oh umm it was the spot where they put the IV it's still kinda bruised."
" Oh okay can I see it?"
" What- no - it's nothing really."
We get ready and get into his car to leave.
" I can't believe you're really leaving for 5 months. I'm going to miss you so much."
" I'm going to miss you more."
Ugh he's such a dork. but I love it.
