Everyone was glad to see Hyeongjun again. They caught up with the latest tea, telling Hyeongjun everything that happened in the last five days. He listened carefully, smiled and even laughed quietly sometimes, yet he didn't talk. He wasn't even able to talk to Seungmin. But luckily everyone didn't mind, knowing how exhausting it must've been for him. He kept fidgeting with his fingers while sitting on Seungmin's lap, who caressed his thighs with no deep intention, just pure adoration,
Jungsu eyed the two of them, as it was clearly visible at that moment that the two of them were more than friends. How could the rest be so blind? Yet he could understand them after all - He was as oblivious as they were before though, so he should not be the one to complain.
Gunil was able to persuade his father, the head of his school, to get proper treatment for Hyeongjun, so his wounds would be able to heal quickly; So felt a lot better after a short amount of time. He had a cast around his arm, where the five already have drawn something on it.
Jooyeon's cuts were almost healed completely as well, leaving light scars on his previously fair skin. His hypothesis, that the students get abused was approved by himself. Mrs Pae took him to a sector where only teachers were allowed. It was a special room, and she sat him on a chair, tying up his arms behind his back and his legs around the chair.
She cut his hair with an electric razor, barely paying attention, as if her mission was to cut deep into Jooyeon's skin instead of cutting off his hair. The pain was numbing at some point, so he didn't feel anything at one point. Until she suddenly poured some liquid inside, it started to burn and etch. There was too much pain at once and Jooyeon lost consciousness.
Yet he believed that there were even worse injuries that his schoolmates had suffered from. For example Seungmin; They confirmed that Seungmin was continuously beaten up with a baseball bat, at least fifty times on the same spot, leaving him with a lung contusion - The reason he had these difficulties in breathing. Or Jiseok; He also confirmed that his ankle was broken with a hammer and they also wanted to burn his lips with some type of acid so he won't talk anymore but were held back because another student needed their help. The student saved Jiseok without even being aware of it.
Knowing all that, Jooyeon wanted to run away. He didn't want to spend the rest of his teenie years in a prison like that.
