#.. THIRTY-ONE

Seungmin instantly died due to the given headshot, his body sliding down the wall he was leaning against to previously. Blood splattered everywhere, sticking onto the moldy walls and coloring his surroundings in a horrifying red. Mr Koo turned around, intending to shoot Hyeongjun, too, but encountered Jiseok instead, who instantly stabbed his pocket knife into his neck.

Jiseok's vision went blurry after that, his senses went blank. He didn't hear the agonizing sounds of gunshots and screams. He didn't control his hands, that never stopped ramming the knife into the man's body. He didn't feel that the bullets were penetrating his stomach yet, the only thing he tried to focus on, was to weaken the elder man, who obviously had more power.

With one swift movement, he pushed Jiseok to the ground, shooting him in his leg, so he wouldn't be able to move so easily. Well, as if he'd be strong enough to stand up after being shot in the torso a dozen of time. It was like a cold splash of water that awakened Jiseok. Now he was laying on the floor, bleeding from everywhere. He closed his eyes and gritted his teeth in agony, not wanting to see what might happen afterwards. He'll die. Hyeongjun will die. They're all gonna be dead.

Tangled up in the whole Jiseok-Mr Koo disaster, the elder didn't notice someone else enter the room. And it wasn't a teacher, it was Jooyeon. This time he let his curiosity take over him as soon as he heard something sounding like shots from the basement. He managed to sneak inside there, without getting noticed, and witnessed Seungmin being shot as well.

And he started to act quickly, immediately catching on to the situation, as he ran towards Hyeongjun, who still had his hands tied up by the ropes. Helping him with these in a matter of seconds, even more gunshots occured, and loud hissing followed afterwards. It was a scene straight out of a horror movie. Seeing Jiseok not give up after being shot more than five times was intriguing and shocking at the same time. But then he was pushed away.

This time Mr Koo went over to Hyeongjun again, noticing Jooyeon right after. His eyes narrowed as he watched the young boy kneel there, holding the ropes that were previously restricting Hyeongjun. Mr Koo wasn't able to say anything, spitting out blood when he raised the gun towards Jooyeon. He closed his eyes, not wanting to see his last moments. But as another gunshot fell, he wasn't the one feeling the torturing pain.
