#.. TWENTY SIX

Jungsu was finally sent to a hospital. They told the doctors that he tried to kill himself and they actually believed them. That didn't matter though, at least Jungsu could be saved now. Gunil didn't want to talk about Jungsu anymore. He'd probably die just by mentioning his lover's name.

Gunil wasn't seen with his friends anymore too. What did his father tell him? What happened? Everyone was curious about that so everyone was asking Gunil. And he didn't want to talk at all, obviously still hurt about the incident and also pissed off by the amount of people that suddenly seemed to care about him. No one seemed to care before. No one saw him struggling his whole life but now where he's the star of the show, everyone's obsessed.

Jooyeon only watched him from afar, thinking that it'd be better if he'd be on his own - Gunil seemed to be in a very fragile and vulnerable state right now, he didn't want to make it worse. "Dang, I feel sorry for Gunil" Seungmin exclaimed and took a bite of his lunch. "And for Jungsu, too. It looked like he got assassinated when he was brought in." Everyone agreed.

"I don't want to imagine the type of punishment they had to undergo" Jiseok added. "It seemed very severe."
Jooyeon was barely paying attention, as he kept looking at Gunil, who just stared at the tray filled with food in front of him. Depressing.

It was a shock when Jiseok suddenly tapped his shoulder and whispered, "Let's sneak out again tonight." He had that bright smile on his lips, promising Jooyeon that it will be alright. Jiseok is so adorable when he smiles, Jooyeon thought and agreed to the deal. They've done it multiple times, having found out the perfect spots to successfully sneak away. 

Suddenly, everyone near them started to scream, looking towards one person. And Jooyeon rapidly learned that the person was no other than Gunil. Everyone was crowded around him, trying to reach him, so the friends were barely able to see what was happening. Many people rushed away to get a teacher, others didn't even pay attention. And some just stood there, trying to talk to him - Without any success. What was happening there? As Jooyeon came closer, the blood in his veins froze for a moment.

Gunil held a bloody piece of broken glass in his one hand, watching the huge amount of blood gush out of the slit on his wrist on the other arm. The blood spread over the table, dyeing his school uniform an intimidating shade of red. Did he try to kill himself? He lifted the arm with the piece of glass and let it slide through his skin again, cutting up a vein. Jooyeon rushed towards Gunil, who then seemed to snap out of his bubble. He looked at Jooyeon, eyes half-lidded as he was breathing heavily.

Any help Gunil recieved was too late - As soon as the teachers arrived, Gunil was already unconscious. And the moment they arrived at the hospital, he was dead. Gunil killed himself that day. He couldn't withstand the pressure anymore, he was in such a miserable position in life. Inside his room, they found a suicide note.
