Jooyeon was holding the letter in his hands, sitting on the familiar meadow. Jiseok's head was leaned against his shoulder, silent tears were running down his face. Gunil's and Jungsu's death really devastated him. Understandable, Jooyeon has cried for three hours straight prior. He cried his need to cry away, he just felt empty. It was hard to imagine how much pain Gunil must have felt to commit such an act. And how Jungsu just passed away like that.

And apparently the government was the one responsible for all that. But can it be? After all, Gunil, the son of the principal, said it. It must be right then. But the government wouldn't do that, would they?

The silence between them was loud. No one dared to talk, feeling like it'd be inappropriate to talk in the very moment. The heavy feeling in their chests was another reason they couldn't talk; Fearing that they'd start to cry the moment they opened their mouths to talk. Seungmin and Hyeongjun were sitting a little bit farther away, they insisted that they wanted to come with them, everything about the boarding school reminded them of their two deceased friends and it hurt.

Seungmin had his face buried in Hyeongjun's shoulder, crying into it as his arms were wrapped around the fragile boy's waist. It would've been completely quiet if it wasn't for Seungmin's loud sobs. Seungmin had known the two the longest, as he first arrived there when he was twelve, probably around five or six years ago. And ever since then he loved hanging out with Gunil and Jungsu. They were inseperable and even shared a room, until Jungsu was asked to change it, as a 'special needs kid' was supposed to be there. If it wouldn't been for that, Seungmin would've never talked to Hyeongjun. That's the only thing this damned school could do correct.

Hyeongjun comforted the crying boy and patted his back, kissing his head ever so often. A heartbreaking sight. Jooyeon was aware of his surroundings after Jiseok suddenly sobbed; He was crying as well. Without saying anything, Jooyeon sat across him and smiled at him sadly. "It's alright.. They finally managed to escape" This thought shot tears up in his eyes, too, and Jiseok just let himself fall forward, as he hugged Jooyeon tightly.

They started as six, now they are only four. Jooyeon prayed that it would stay like that. But given the curcumstances, he doubted that highly.
