Chapter Four: Death and Life

It has been two years, since everyone heard about Ziva, and Nash had accepted that her mum doesn't want any contact with her at all which deeply bothered Nash. NCIS has been really busy and Nash has slowly started calling Tony 'dad' despite Tony not being her father and her daughter, Tarna started calling Tony 'Pop' which Tony was honoured with both, Tony had started dating a bit as he realized Ziva was never coming back but Tony still deeply loved Ziva. The NCIS team is currently hunting down an ex-CIA agent, Trent Kort, who have been involved some recent attacks and Nash and Ana and Tarna were in the bullpen with McGee and Gibbs and Tony and Ellie Bishop, Ziva's replacement, came into the room and Bishop sees the girls in the bullpen mainly studying while young Tarna was drawing something and Tony said to Gibbs "We got a problem. We found Trent Kort's phone at the zoo, but not Trent Kort." Bishop added "It was a decoy... he must've known we were onto him." Nash looking into the Israeli news she does like to keep tabs onto Israel and Nash finds an important report about a bombing and Nash looked at McGee unsure what to do and Tony said "I can guess where he's going..." Gibbs replied "Israel." Tony looked at Nash and Tarna unsure if they should be talking about it but Gibbs said to him "Don't worry, they got High Security Clearance..." Tony replied "Kort disappeared right after he learned about Ziva. He may know about Eli's files." Nash's eyes widen hearing the news in Israel and said to McGee "Uh... McGee... I'm going to send you this link..." Nash sends the link and McGee sees it and looked at Nash as it was about Eli David and McGee said "Uh, boss... Nash just found something..." McGee puts the video onto the board and plays it and an Israeli reporter says "No one has claimed responsibility for the explosion at this isolated farmhouse in the Israeli countryside. But with early reports indicating the house previously belonged to former Mossad Director Eli David, authorities are assuming a terrorist attack." Nash and Tony stood up in shock but Nash was basically in tears in fear and Tony said worried "That's where Ziva's supposed to be staying..." Gibbs could tell Nash shouldn't be listening to this and signaled Ana to take Nash and Tarna down to Ducky which Ana did. Soon, Gibbs was heading to Ducky's office when he nearly knocks over Ana who just came from there and Gibbs asked her "How's Nash holding up?" Ana replied worried about her friend "Not great... Ducky and Palmer are trying to calm her down as she had a meltdown... She is worried about her mum and brother..." Gibbs nodded and said to her "I wouldn't blame her. Ziva and her brother are the only ones that are her family..." Ana nodded and Ana asked Gibbs "Do you think Ziva is alright, Gibbs?" Gibbs didn't say anything as they got to the floor of Abby's and Gibbs said "Tell your mother about the situation..." Ana nodded and got off and Gibbs went down to Autopsy and comes to the door to find Palmer with Tarna who was crying and Gibbs asked "What happened?" Palmer didn't say anything as he got onto the elevator and Gibbs sees Nash having a full on meltdown and Ducky just lets her have her meltdown and Ducky sees him and walked out to talk to Gibbs and Gibbs said to him "Guessing she isn't taking the news well about it..." Ducky shook his head and said to Gibbs "I wouldn't blame her, other that Tony and Tarna, she only has her mum and brother..." Gibbs nodded and said "I better go and see how's Tony is going..." Gibbs leaves and Ducky re-enters the room to see Nash now crying and Ducky walks over to her and Nash said to Ducky "It's all my fault..." Ducky sits next to Nash and said "It's not your fault, my dear. Your mother wanted to stay, most likely because of her condition during that time..." Suddenly Bishop comes in to see Nash and Ducky and Bishop was going to feel bad about the news she was about to tell and Palmer comes in as he left Tarna with another agent for a bit and Ducky said "Bishop, what can we do for you?" Bishop looked at Nash and sighed and said "Director Vance just got some bad news... There was a survivor in the fire... But it was not Ziva..." Nash starts crying hearing this and Ducky said to Nash "Why not you go and have a walk, Miss Beli, just to clear your mind..." Nash runs out in tears and Ducky said with a sad sigh "It's devastating. The intensity of the fire reduced most of the farmhouse to ashes." Palmer sat down trying to take the news in and said to them "Makes no sense. Just when you think she'd finally found some peace at home." Ducky agreed and Palmer said "Yeah, Ziva, she would've, she would've gone out swinging, you know? You know, just fighting til her last breath." Bishop replied as she felt so sorry for Nash "Instead of ambushed in her sleep by some coward with a mortar launcher." McGee comes in and Bishop asked him "Hey, how's Tony?" McGee replied also taking in the bad news "Uh, about how you'd expect. He made one request. That we do what Ziva would do." Ducky replied knowing Ziva "Find Trent Kort." "And kill him." Ducky and Palmer gotten the all clear to do an autopsy and Ducky said to them "Before I forget, I suggest finding Miss Beli... She is suffering with depression and I wouldn't leave alone for a moment..." McGee and Bishop looked at each other and McGee asked "Where's Tarna?" Palmer replied as he starts getting ready "Uh, in the conference room with an agent..." McGee replied "I will look after Tarna." Bishop nodded and goes off to find Nash. Bishop soon finds Nash up on a tree and Bishop asked her "Liking the view?" Nash didn't say anything as she was in deep dark thoughts and Bishop climbs the tree and sits next to Nash and said "Oh, nice view..." Nash and Bishop sat on the tree and Bishop said to her "Listen, I don't know what it's like to lost someone that I love, but I know you are hurt." Nash closed her eyes hearing that and Nash said "I miss my mum... I have missed her every day for the past two years... And to think that she dead... It hurts me so much... Because I had to deal with that with my dad... Who I loved... It's nightmare for me..." Bishop replied trying to cheer her up "There was a survivor, so your brother is alive..." Nash replied angrily "I don't give two shits about Amolt! I hate him... He put me in so much pain because of our grandparents... I hope he is dead..." Suddenly Nash notices someone down below and Nash frowned and said "You got to be kidding me..." Bishop looked where Nash was looking and saw a few men going in and Nash got off the tree and Bishop followed to where Director Vance was and Nash said to him "Vance... Orli is here..." Vance looked up to see Orli was here as Nash said and Vance said to her "Orli, been a while... Two years..." Orli replied to Leon "It has been a while... But I need to have an important talk with Agent DiNozzo... And of course, Nashma Beli and Tarna Beli..." Nash hid behind Vance a bit worried and Orli said "No need to worry, Miss Beli. It's family business..."
