Chapter Six: More Surprises?!

It has been seven years, not a lot of things been happening, but Tarna is now 15, and Nash is stressing out the fact that Nash may not be able to help Tarna out on getting out as betrothed. Ana went back to England but still in contact with Nash on everything and Nash was on the phone with Ana and Ana said to her friend "Nash, you need to tell her since she will be 16 next week..." Nash replied as she was grabbing her car keys as she was picking up the kids today "I know, Ana... I am already stressed about it as it is..." Ana said to her "I also got some bad news..." Nash asked as she left the house and gets into her car and connects her phone to the car so Nash could still talk to Ana "What's the bad news..." Ana replied to her "The royal family made an official statement saying that Prince Edward's betrothed will be announced in 24 hours..." Nash is now fully stressed hearing this "Excuse me? They are what?" Ana said to her "Yeah, they are going to announce who he is betrothed to..." Nash growled in annoyance and said "Fucking asses..." Ana wasn't surprised Nash was pissed and Ana said to her "Do you want me to like... Talk to them?" Nash replied as she pulls up to her youngest son, Alex's school "Don't bother, the Prince's parents are stubborn... Well... The mother is... I will have to tell Tarna about tonight..." Suddenly her son, Alex, got into the car and asked "Tell Tarna what, Ima?" Nash jumped as she didn't hear him get in the car and Nash basically swears in Hebrew and Nash said to him "How long you been sitting there?" Alex replied to his mum "Only when you said something about Tarna..." Nash said to him "Don't repeat it..." Alex nodded and Ana said to Alex "Hey Alex, honey." Alex replied with a smile "Hey Auntie Ana! You coming back to visit us soon?" Ana replied to him "Not anytime soon honey, I am working with your mum on something." Alex looked confused and asked "On what?" Nash replied as she continues to drive "Nothing you need to know right now, honey..." Ana said to her "I better let you go and I will keep you updated about it..." Nash replied to her "Thanks Ana..." Ana hangs up and Alex asked his mum "Is Tarna in trouble?" Nash replied to him being calm "Not really, honey... But it's just something to do with something that happened a few years ago, but don't repeat it to her..." Alex nodded and asked "Are we picking up Greg?" Nash replied to him "Uh, no, Aunt Jazzy said she should be available to pick him up..." Alex sighs sadly and Nash finally picks up Fadar and Kate and soon they got to Tarna's high school and Nash asked Tarna as her gets into the car "How was school today?" Tarna shrugged in annoyance and Nash said to her "Guessing it didn't go well?" Tarna shook her head not wanting to talk about it and soon they got home and Nash said to her "Tarna, we need to talk..." Tarna replied as they were in her room "If it's about school, I rather not talk about it..." Nash replied "It's... Not..." Tarna looked at her mother not liking how she just worded that and Nash said "You heard about the Prince being betrothed, correct?" Tarna nodded and said to her "Everyone at school has been talking about it, I didn't pay attention as I don't really care about it." Nash bit her lip and sits down on Tarna's bed and said "Well... You should..." Tarna asked her "Why should I care about it?" Nash sighs and said to her "You are his betrothed..." Tarna looked at her for a moment and starts laughing and said "You nearly had me, Ima..." Nash looked at her not even laughing and Tarna's realizes her mother wasn't joking and said "What the fuck?! How did I got fucking betrothed?!" Nash replied to her gently "Since you were about seven months old, your father made a deal with Prince Edward's parents to give him well over seventy million dollars in exchange for marriage with the Prince with you." Tarna looked at her mother and said "Abba?!" Nash realized that Tarna is thinking of Mike and not Karnal and said to her "No, not Mike, honey, your biological father..." Tarna said to her even more confused "I have an biological father?! I thought Abba was my real dad!" Nash replied to her calmly "No, Mike became your Abba since you were like four. Your real Abba, aka Karnal Bani, is your biological Abba. Karnal did not give two shits about you. Hence why I took you back when you were one." Tarna was now freaking out and said to her mother "Why the fuck didn't you do anything to stop it!" Nash replied to her "What the fuck you think I been doing these past ten years, Tarna?! I had zero idea about it until you were five, thankfully, the Queen gave me some time to at least try and help you, but since your fucking dead ass father took so much money from them, I couldn't repay it with my money that I have gotten." Tarna was now stressing out and Nash said to her "Honey, I did what I could to help... But you needed to know before everyone else knows..." Tarna asked in fear "Who else knows?!" Nash replied "Your grandmother, Ana, Jazz, Amolt, Mike and some of the people at NCIS..." Tarna said to her mother "I don't want to marry someone like that, Ima... I don't even know what the prince is like!" Nash again bit her lip and Tarna noticed that asked "What else you aren't telling me?" Nash replied to her "You already have met the Prince... He is actually at your school..." Tarna stood up hearing this "Wait what?! How? Why no one never said anything at school?!" Nash replied "Because he was under another name... Andrew or something..." Tarna frowned to think and said "Wait... What does he look like?" "Uh... He has green eyes and had brownish-blondish hair... I also know he loves horses, just like you." Tarna still looked worried and Nash said "I'm sure he will come up to you Tarna whenever you are ready for him to meet. Although, you will have to get used to everyone suddenly wanting to be your friend when they announce who is The Prince's betrothed." Tarna said to her "Ima, I don't want to marry anyone... Not yet..." Nash replied to her "Calm down, honey, they agreed and assured me that you will not be forced to get married right away... Although, you will be married at ages 19 and 20..." Tarna said now more bothered "19?! That's four years away! What about my University studies and everything! And you know I am in the Olympics next year!" Nash replied to her calmly "And I said that to Ana to tell the royal family on that since you will be more focused on the Olympics with Special and Chance. But they didn't care, expect for the Queen and Edward's father." Tarna groans in annoyance and asked "How long I got?" Nash replied while looking at her watch "Uh, very early in the morning... Ana said she would call me beforehand..." Suddenly Nash's phone rings and Tarna looked at her mother not liking that and Nash said "I'm sure it's just my agent about a ride..." Nash looked at her phone to realize it was Ana and Nash swears in Hebrew which bothers Tarna and Nash puts Ana on speaker and said "I hope you are just calling to see how did the talk go..." Ana replied to her "Uh... Do you want to say yes or no for that?" Nash said to her "Ana..." Ana said to her "I suggest you go and turn on the local news..." Tarna and Nash rushed down stairs, and Nash sees the twins are fighting over their screen time and Nash grabbed the remote from them and changes to the local news and it was on breaking news and a reporter said "It has been announced by the Royal Family about Prince Edward's betrothed this morning and given the name of the betrothed, an Israeli born 16 year old, Tarna Beli. There have been reports that the lovely couple have been dating secretly for well over a year and they can't wait to get married next year." Tarna yelled "WHAT THE FUCK?!" Nash said to Ana "Did you know anything about that, Ana?" Ana replied "I had zero idea until five minutes ago, hence why I called to let them explain, I guess." Nash sees her daughter completely swearing in Hebrew which the kids were confused but Mike figured what she was saying and the reporter also added "It just also been announced that the new royal couple is also expecting!" Tarna just finally lost it and Nash nearly drops her phone and Mike basically drops his cup of coffee and Kate asked her sister "You having a baby, sis?" Nash said to Kate not really wanting to put Tarna on her already bad side "Not the time, Kate..." Tarna picks up a bat and legit throws the bat out the window and Nash said "Tarna!" Tarna growled in annoyance and Ana said on the phone "... And I should have warned you about that one..." Nash said to her "Yeah... Ya think..." Suddenly a knock on the door and Nash growled as it wasn't a good time for visitors and Mike went to the door as the reporter continued the report "We don't know any more details..." Mike said to Nash "Uh, honey... What was the Prince's mother's name?" Nash replied not wanting to know "Please don't tell me..." "She's here..." Tarna said wanting to kill someone "I am gonna kill her!" Nash stops her daughter and to her "You go back to your room just to calm down! I will fucking talk to her." Tarna storms off to her room and Nash opened the door to see Edward's mother with a boy about Tarna's age which Nash quickly figured it was Prince Edward and Nash said to his mother "Nice false information to give to the media on claiming my daughter will be getting married next year, already dating with your son... But you hit a low by claiming my 16 year old daughter being fucking pregnant with your son's baby when she hasn't even dated!" Edward looked surprised at his mother and said to her "You told me we have met before!" Nash replied to him "You probably have..." The mother said to her "I had to do what is right for the family lineage..." They hear a lot of yelling and swearing upstairs and Nash said "Personally, I don't think Tarna wants anything to do with this shit after the lies you gave to the media..." Edward said kindly "We can always give her some space..." His mother ignored her son and said "We are here to talk to your daughter about the news and hopefully she would make the media come true." Nash replied angrily "Oh fuck that... I am not letting my daughter get fucking pregnant just to make your fucking lies be true." Edward also said "And I don't want to do that to anyone unless they want that, mum..." Nash also said to her "And you knew full well that Tarna is too busy next year because of the Olympics." Edward looked impressed and said "The Olympics? So you guys have horses?" Mike replied to the boy "Yeah? We got a bunch of them." Edward replied with a smile "What kind of horses?" Nash replied to him "Thoroughbreds." Edward realized who they were and said to them "Wait, your Mike Gap and Nashma Gap, one of the top jockeys in the world." Nash and Mike looked at each other for a moment but Nash said to them "Yeah? Didn't your parents tell you about Tarna's family?" Edward shook his head but said "No, but I have seen you guys at the racetracks and picking a girl up from school, Tarna, right?" Mike asked him "So you have meet her?" Edward replied to him "Kinda, but we never spoken, she is always on focus in studies and everything and she didn't like me? Don't know why." Nash thought for a moment and said "Have you been hanging out with some of the popular jocks like Fred Percy and Jack Hardy?" Edward nodded and said to her "Yeah, they seemed pretty cool... Why?" Nash replied now understanding it "Ah... Makes sense... Fred and Jack and the other jocks like to bully and tease her, so she avoids anyone who is friends with them or just hangs out. Do the other kids know you're the Prince?" His mother said to her "Of course they do, just mainly his friends." Edward replied "I didn't want to make friends until I could at least spend time with, Tarna..." Nash said to his mother "Why not you let Edward stay with us, just so he can get to know Tarna in the house inside of her avoiding him like Covid plague at school... He will be well protected because of the dogs and the security systems..." The mother hated this idea but Edward said to his mother "If you want me and Tarna to do something like this, mother, you need to let me stay with them..." His mother growled said "Fine... You got a year... And I am not stopping the pregnancy rumours..." The mother leaves and Nash growled in annoyance and Edward said "Sorry about my mother... She just wants what's best for me and the family..." Nash replied letting him in "Ooooh I doubt that..." Nash shows Edward to his room and Tarna said not realizing that her mother had the Prince "Ima, can I go and stay with Aunt Jazz?" Tarna stopped to see the boy from school and said "Why the fuck is this guy here?!" Edward smiled awkwardly and Nash said to her "Tarna... This is your future fiancée, Prince Edward... He will be staying with us for a year..." "A year?!" Nash said to her "It was a deal just now, since you were basically avoiding him most of your time together, so time for both of you to spend time with each other every day for the year..." Tarna was going to argue about this but she knew her mother wasn't going to change and Tarna just growled and Nash said "I don't care how you two can get close but you both decide when you are ready..." Nash walks off leaving them together and Edward said kindly "Hey, name's Edward..." Tarna growled in annoyance and walked back to her room legit not wanting to handle him.
The next day was Saturday and Edward wanted to get to know Tarna but since Tarna was really avoiding him like the plague after yesterday's news, Edward managed to find her with her horses and Tarna sees him and growls in annoyance and Edward said to her "I finally found you..." Tarna replied in annoyance "Shocking... You found me with my mum and dad's horses... Congrats..." Edward could tell Tarna really didn't like him right now and said "Listen, I had nothing to do what the news said, I didn't know about it until your mum said this to my mum yesterday..." Tarna frowned in annoyance and said to him "And yet, now EVERYONE thinks I am fucking pregnant..." The horse that Tarna was brushing gently nudges Tarna close to Edward which made it awkward for them, although Tarna hated him right now, Tarna did have a crush on him and Edward to her "Sorry... I-" Tarna interrupted him "Not your fault... Kinda my fault, my mum's horses like doing that..." Edward looked at the horse and asked "Which racehorse is this one?" Tarna replied "Why not you guess..." Edward looked at the horse which was clearly a mare but it had no facial markings but had four stocking on it's feet and Edward said "Woah... Isn't this the Triple Crown winning mare, Lovely Mariane?" Tarna was impressed and said to him "Yeah, mum's prized mare... I'm surprised you know racing..." Edward replied to her "My family does love horses, and we own a bunch of the racehorses..." Tarna nodded and asked him "Do you know how to ride?" Edward nodded and asked "Why?" Tarna smiled and said "I may be pretty pissed about yesterday... But..." Edward looked at her in curiosity and Tarna was going to say something but stopped which kinda made Edward smile as he had a feeling Tarna does like him and Tarna and Edward went onto a ride and Edward notices a German Shepherd following them and Edward asked "I forgot you guys have dogs... How many you have?" Tarna replied as they walked their horses "They are mum's dogs, but she has ten, but this one is mum's prized dog, Hugo..." Edward asked her "My mum said your Israeli, correct?" Tarna was quiet before answering "I was until my mum basically got me back from Karnal..." "Do you have a good relationship with your dad?" Tarna frowned as she wasn't sure if he meant Mike or Karnal but Tarna said "If you mean Karnal, than no, I never knew he was my father until my mum told me yesterday... She didn't want me to ever met him after all she had to go through... To me, Mike is my real father..." Edward nodded in understandment and asked "So, I always noticed you liked to focus on school... How come?" Tarna replied to him "Eh, I want to get into the best University since my mum can send me to one as she had like ten grand in a bank account for well over five years..." Edward was impressed and he said "Your mum also said you are in the Olympics next year? Is that why you didn't like the reason of my mum's plans?" Tarna nodded as she halted her horse and said "The Olympics pretty important to me... I worked so hard to get where I am... I love doing what I do... I just don't see myself as a future queen or anything like that..." Edward was impressed as most people would always wished to have that role and asked "Wait, so you don't really care about that role? As a queen or anything?" Tarna looked at him and said "Not really? I just have no interest in it, as long as the person that gets the role respects it and at least respects everyone else." Edward smiled a bit at her and asked "Tarna? Do you have a crush on me?" Tarna blushed hearing this but didn't say anything and Edward said "Ah, so you do... When did this happen?" Tarna kept quiet as her face was going red in embarrassment and Edward said to her liking how she is blushing "Wow, you are pretty cute when you blush..." Tarna was about to get to move on to avoid the conversation but Edward stops her and kisses her which completely shock Tarna but Tarna couldn't help but kiss him back and they both fell off their horses kissing lovingly which kinda spooked the horses as they didn't expect them to fall off causing Tarna's horse, Alphabolt, bolts off back to the stables and Edward asked "Should we go after him?" Tarna replied "Na, he'll be alright..." Edward smiled and kisses her lovingly and Tarna kisses him back, Edward's horse, which was one of Nash's horses stayed close to them as the mare was very protective on Tarna but the mare was calmed and relaxed letting the young teens enjoy themselves a bit. Meanwhile, Nash was riding one of her newer horses to see how decent the filly was, as the filly was a grey filly named Kernel's Colorado, and Mike was watching his wife on the track but he notices Tarna's gelding jumping into the track and galloping the opposite direction and Nash didn't notice Alpha was on the track until Nash and Colorado was coming around the corner and Nash notices the bay gelding running towards them and Nash quickly makes a hard steer to the right to avoid the loose horse and the sudden steer causes Colorado to start bucking as she didn't like that but Nash stayed in the saddle and manages to calm the filly down and make the filly go into a walk and Nash walked Colorado to Mike and asked "Where did Alpha come from, honey?" Mike replied to him "In the woods, basically, I know Tarna and Edward took two horses in there and Alpha was one of them..." Mike notices the gelding had finally stopped moving and Nash said to him "You grab Alpha, I will go out and find them just in case..." Mike opens the gate so Nash could go into the woods with Colorado while he grabbed Alpha, Nash carefully checked the tracks to find Alpha's hoof prints as the gelding had bigger feet due to the fact the gelding is an Belgian Warmblood and Nash was worried for the teenagers as it was snake season. Nash soon finds the trail and sees Edward's horse in the distance who was not moving once but Nash was surprised as the mare would stick near Tarna but Nash couldn't see them and Colorado gave a small nicker and the mare lifted her head and nickers back. Tarna was enjoying the moment with Edward not really noticing the time but she hears a horse nicker and it wasn't from the mare they had but the mare nickered back and Tarna realized it could be either her mother or father looking for them and Edward gets off of her and helps Tarna up and they see Nash trotting over with a grey filly and Nash asked them "You both alright?" Tarna replied feeling a bit funny "Uh, yep... We got off our horse and just... Chilled..." Nash frowned as she didn't believe the story but said to them "Good, but we have to leave the woods because of snake season... I don't want either of you to round up in hospital with a snake bite that might kill you both..." Tarna gets onto Edward's horse and Edward gets onto the horse and Edward asked Nash as Tarna steered the horse to follow her mother "Mrs Gap? What's the horse your riding?" Nash replied to him "A new horse... Although gonna need to give her a hood as she doesn't focus very well... But meet Kernel's Colorado..." Edward couldn't help but touch Tarna's butt which legit makes her jump causing her horse to spook a bit and the mare nearly bumps into Colorado who quickly did a warning kick and Nash asked them while keeping Colorado under control "All good, Tarn?" Tarna nodded as she settled down what Edward was doing which legit is making her want more of him right now. Soon they got out of the woods and Nash said to Tarna and Edward "Put your horses away and clean them up before going back inside for dinner..." Tarna nodded as she steered the horse to the stables and Tarna said to Edward "That was too close... If my mum found out what we bloody did... She would be pissed as fuck..." Edward asks her as they get to the stables "So why is your mum is worried about you getting pregnant?" Tarna replied as she got off the horse but didn't know how to explain it and Edward said "Come to think of it, your mum is pretty young, like she could be like your older sister..." Tarna said to him a bit disgusted hearing that "Ew... No... My mum had me very young... Like... REALLY young..." "How young?" Tarna was quiet but answered "Like... Ten year old young..." Edward was shocked hearing this and Edward asked "Wait... Wait... What..." Tarna nodded as Edward takes the saddle off the horse and Edward said "I understand why she is protecting you about it..." Tarna bit her lower lip and said "Same but... I want more with you, Edward..." Edward was surprised as he followed Tarna to the tack room and said "Really? But what about the Olympics?" Tarna replied to him with a smile "I still want us to try, Edward... Hell, it might happen before it comes around..." Edward smiled and Tarna kisses him again lovingly and Edward kisses her back they forgot about the horses until one of the horses was kicking in the tack room which causes Edward and Tarna to stop to do their chores. Over the weekend, Tarna and Edward spent more and more time, and Nash and Mike could tell they were more than friends but both parents didn't question it but Nash pulled both Tarna and Edward aside when dropping the two of them off at school and said "Listen, I know you two are no longer friends but more of lovers, but you both don't need to do the things at school like you do at home... Just continue it like a normal school day." Tarna and Edward nodded as Nash left and soon as they got into the school, Tarna was very quickly surrounded by all the popular girls whom Tarna really didn't like as they usually bully her and one of the girls, Kara, said to Tarna "Hey, Tar, want to hang with us today?" Tarna replied to them not really into hanging with them as she kinda forgot that everyone would treat her differently as Edward's fiancée "Yeah... No thanks... I got plans today..." Kara said to her "Come on, girl, you used to hang with us..." Tarna frowned as that was a fat lie from Kara "I never did because you always bullied me..." Edward stepped in and said "Hey, just give her some space, Kara..." Kara said to Edward, not realizing Edward is actually the Prince "Oh back off, Charles, Princess Tarna is a lot more important than anyone in this school." Tarna frowned more as she hated hearing the word 'Princess' in her name and Edward said to them "I would be careful what you say, Kara..." Edward takes Tarna away from the group and Tarna notices Edward was taking her towards her other bullies and Tarna said to him not wanting to deal with them "Edward, I rather not handle them... Right now..." Edward replied in a whisper "I know, but they might treat you different with me as they know me as Edward but they do play along with the Charles thing... But since we in school, I would suggest to continue calling me Charles until the Principle announces who I really am..." Tarna sighed as they walked over to his friends and surprisingly, the boys treated Tarna as the usual thing but they kept it friendly towards her for Edward which surprises Tarna, and soon the Principle comes over to Tarna and Edward and said to them "Charles and Tarna? I need to see you both in my office..." Tarna was a bit worried but they go to the office and the Principle said to them as he shuts the door "Do you both know why you have been asked to come to see me Prince Edward and Miss Gap?" Tarna but her lip as she didn't want to answer and Edward said "Because you are planning to have an assembly and announce who I really am?" The Principle nodded and said "Prince Edward, the reason for this is just to protect Miss Gap, Your mother, Julia, told me to make the announcement mainly on your behalf, but I did call Mrs Gap about the situation but I haven't got in contact with her yet..." Tarna replied to him "Uh, yeah, it's probably close to one of the races she has today... She doesn't normally answer her phone when it comes to the races..." The Principle asked her "Is there another way to contact your mother, Miss Gap?" Tarna nodded and the Principle allowed her to use his phone and soon Tarna got a hold of her mum in the Jockeys room and Nash said "Yes?" "Mrs Gap? This is Mr. Jant, from Tarna's school?" Nash nodded as she was in the middle of looking into the horses she was riding today and the Principle continued "We need to announce about Prince Edward being in the school as it has gotten a ruckus about Miss Gap hanging out with Edward as Charles..." Suddenly one of the jockeys said to Nash "Yo, Star, hurry up! Your star mare is coming up!" Nash replied not even thinking about it "Uh, yeah, whatever, do whatever... I have to go..." Nash hangs up before anyone could say anything and the Principle looked at Tarna and Tarna said "Yeah, mum has her champion mare running in one of the big races today..." The Principle nodded and asked "Do you want to do this, Miss Gap?" Tarna wasn't sure about this already but said also without thinking "Yeah sure." Edward surprised but he figured Tarna is just still in shock with everything going on and the Principle nodded and made the announcement for an unplanned Assembly and Edward asked the Principle "Do you mind if I talk to Tarna alone, Mr. Jant?" The Principle nodded and left the room and Edward asked "You alright, Tarna?" Tarna nodded and said "Yeah... Just progressing everything right now still..." Edward nodded and asked "Are you worried about it?" Tarna looked at him confused and asked "About what?" Edward answered realizing she legit didn't think what she just said "Uh, about you being ok the fact everyone in the school will know that I am Prince Edward?" Tarna realized what she said and Edward said to her "I should have stepped up when I realized you weren't really thinking when he asked you..." Tarna bit her lip as she was now worried about everything and asked "What if everyone in the school believes the news?" Edward looked at her and asked "About you being pregnant already?" Tarna was quiet as she was a bit worried about that and Edward said "Luckily, no one hasn't mentioned it, so that's good news, Tee..." Soon in the Assembly hall, the Principle said to the whole High School "As you all heard, Tarna Beli slash Gap, was announced by the royal family that she is in fact, the Prince's Betrothed... Now the reason everyone is here is because Charles Lane, is in fact Prince Edward..." Everyone in the school gasps in shock and Tarna just shrunk in her chair in worry and Edward could tell Tarna wasn't going to enjoy the sudden high attention and Tarna could tell Kara, the head cheerleader wasn't impressed with this and it was giving Tarna a bad feeling. After the Assembly, everyone was very much overwhelming Tarna way too much which it gives Tarna a sudden panic attack, and one of Edward's friends noticed this and told Edward about as Tarna locked herself in the Janitor's closet and Edward rushes over to the door see a bunch of people around it and Edward said "Everyone back up! Leave her alone!" Everyone left expect for Kara who tried to flirt with Edward but Edward didn't care less about Kara as he was more focused on Tarna and the Janitor lets Edward into the room so Edward could get to Tarna. Tarna had her head on her knees as she was on full panic mode and she hears someone coming in and she sees Edward come in and Edward sits down next to her and hugs her tightly in hopes it would calm her down and Edward said "It's alright, Tee." Tarna said to him "Everything is just overwhelming me... Way too much..." Edward nodded and said "I know... Do you want to go to the Principal's office and call your mum?" Tarna looked at her phone to see what time it was and said "Nope... Mum is probably about to race on Mariane..." Edward surprised and asked "Is that why your horse was here?" Tarna nodded and said "Mariane was born in US and mum thought it would be nice if she finished her racing season here in the US." Edward asked as her pulled up his phone "What's the race called?" Tarna thought and replied "Uh, Dinner Party Stakes... Why?" Edward looks up the race and Edward put the race on his phone which surprises Tarna as she didn't think Edward would look up the race during school and Tarna said "I thought you don't watch the races during school?" Edward replied "Normally I don't, but I like your mum and I know you live up to your mum a lot..." Tarna nodded and they see Mariane on the screen being loaded into the stalls and the announcer said "They at the post..." The gates swung open and all the horses left out of the gates and Mariane was the first out but was quickly went last from a 10 horse field and the announcer continued calling the race "And the European champion is currently dead last... They head around the first turn and it's Firing On out in the easy lead... Followed closely by Mike Gap's colt, Heroed Up!" Tarna was a bit nervous and it is Mariane's first race in America and her first time running anti-clockwise and the Announcer said as they go around the final turn "And they come around the final turn, here comes Heroed Up with Mike Gap on board! They are clear by two and surging! Here comes Lovely Mariane who making her move up late! She is only three lengths behind but she is catching up in every stride!" Tarna and Edward were getting excited for the mare as she was quickly catching up on Heroed Up and they see Heroed Up and Lovely Mariane now head to head in the stretch and the announcer said loudly in excitement "It's Lovely Mariane and Heroed Up! It's Husband and Wife! This is the race of a century ladies and gentleman! It's probably going to be close!!!" Suddenly Mariane found another gear and starts sprinting away in the final furlong to win by two lengths and the Announcer said "Never mind! It's the Lovely mare to win easily!!!" Nash pulls up the mare who had her ears up as it was very easy for the mare and Tarna was really happy that Mariane won again and Edward smiled as the race kept Tarna's mind off everything and Edward asked "You feel better?" Tarna stopped as she forgot about it and said "Yeah... I do... Thanks, Edward..." The bell rang as lunch time was over and Tarna didn't want to go back to class right now and Edward figured she probably didn't want to and said "You know we can just stay here if you like? We are allowed to skip classes for a few days until you are more settled with... Well... You know..." Tarna nodded not really wanting to talk about it still and Edward kisses her lovingly and Tarna kisses him back and it is now at the end of the school day but Edward and Tarna were in the Janitors closet still and they just left the closet not really thinking about the consequences about what they just did and they hear the bell go off as it was the end of the school day and Tarna slowly got off of him and they cleaned up and left the Janitors room and waited for someone to pick them up and suddenly Kara comes up to them and said "Eddy, want to go out this weekend?" Edward looked at her like she was crazy and Tarna felt uncomfortable with Kara and Edward said "Pretty sure you are dating with one of my buddies... I should tell him that you are trying to ask me on a date when I am already with someone..." Kara said to him "Broke up with him during the weekend, and I don't think you like this piece of shit..." Tarna growled in annoyance as she was tempted to hit her and Edward said "I wouldn't suggest calling her that... But I love her, so please leave me alone..." Kara frowned not giving up and kisses him and Tarna finally lost it and pushes her away from Edward and punches her so hard that Tarna broke Kara's nose and Kara screamed in pain and Tarna said pissed at her "Fuck off from my boyfriend you bitch... That's fucking karma for you..." Tarna walks off as she sees her Aunt Jasmine's car pulling up to the school and Edward followed and they got into the car and Jasmine said as she saw what happened "Guessing she finally crossed the line, Tarn?" Tarna nodded and Edward said "Kinda impressed..." Tarna asked her aunt while changing the subject "How was work, Aunt Jazz?" Jasmine replied as they drove "Horrible... I was taken off the team for a while, while they work on a case..." Tarna asked her "Why take you off the case?" Jasmine didn't say anything and said "I haven't told your parents yet, Tarna... But it's your Uncle... He is MIA..." Tarna was in shock and said "MIA? How long he been MIA?" Jasmine replied to her "About four days... And since he is my husband, had to be off the case..." Edward was confused as he never met Jasmine before and he asked "Sorry, what do you do?" Jasmine replied to him "NCIS Agent... My husband, who you haven't met, is Lieutenant in the army." Edward thinks to try to figure it out and Tarna said "Aunt Jasmine is married to my mum's brother, Amolt." Edward nodded understanding now and Jasmine said "Oh, and your grandparents are coming down for a couple of weeks with your Aunt." Tarna's eyes lit hearing this and said "Wait they coming down? When?" Jasmine replied "Uh, I think tomorrow? Ziva called me about it, don't think she told your mother yet as she wants to surprise her." Edward didn't know Tarna had another aunt and Edward asked "How many aunts and uncles you have again?" Tarna replied "Two officially. But there is an close family friend that we call Aunt Ana... That's Jazz's cousin." Edward nodded and Tarna asked "Why is Grandma and Grand Tony coming?" Jasmine didn't say anything as she knew the reason and Tarna asked again "Aunt Jazz... Why are they coming?" Jasmine ignored Tarna again as it was a surprise for Tarna also and Jasmine went to pick the rest of the kids up and dropped them off but since Mike or Nash haven't got back from the track, Tarna had to let everyone in as she is the only one with the house key and Kate, Fadar and Alex went off to do their homework and Edward asked "So, what is your grandparents like?" Tarna bit her lip before answering "Well, both of them were agents, but they quit to have a simple life with my mum's sister, but my grandpa is a movie freak, not sure if he is still into it, but my grandma... God, do not get on her bad side..." Edward asked now curious "Uh, why?" Tarna replied to him "Uh, she is a trained assassin basically, but she stopped doing that since she had my aunt Tali 16 years ago." Edward was quiet as he was thinking and asked "When did your grandma had your mum?" Tarna looked at him and Edward said "Sorry, but like trying to figure this out..." Tarna replied "My grandma had my mum at 18 or 19, she was already married when she had my mum." Edward nodded and suddenly the front door opened and it was Mike and Nash and Tarna said "Great win in the Dinner Party Stakes, mum." Nash frowned as Tarna shouldn't be watching it during school and said "Weren't you in school?" Tarna nodded and Edward said to her "It was kinda my fault, Mrs Gap... Tarna had a panic attack at school today..." Mike looked at Tarna and asked "You alright, Tarn?" Tarna replied "Yeah, I am now thanks to Edward..." Nash asked her "What caused you to have a panic attack?" Tarna was quiet and Edward replied "The whole school knows that she is my betrothed and everyone now knows that I am Prince Edward..." Nash frowned and asked "How did they learn about that?" Tarna replied "I may have said it was ok for the school to know..." Nash growled in annoyance as she drops her jockey bag and Mike asked "Guessing you weren't thinking about it when agreeing?" Tarna nodded and replied "I was really overwhelmed about today..." Nash sighed while thinking as she knows Tarna gets hard on bullied at school and asked "Do you want to change schools, Tarna?" Tarna replied to her "I'm fine, Ima... I have dealt with worse..." Nash sighed in worry still and said "Alright... Promise don't do anything stupid..." Tarna nodded as they already did something stupid at school and Tarna said "Oh... Um... Apparently Grandma is coming over with Aunt Tali and Grandpa Tony tomorrow..." Nash replied confused "Uh what?" Edward nodded and Tarna said "Yeah, Aunt Jazz told me about it and said it was a surprise for you, but you hate surprises..." Nash groaned in annoyance as it was the first she was hearing this and said "Thanks, honey... Have you started training?" Tarna replied "Mum, the Olympics isn't going to happen until July next year... I got plenty of time..." Mike replied to her "But you still have too since both you and Charlotte both are one of the five Americans nominated to represent America for it." Edward looked at Tarna wondering who Charlotte is and Tarna said "Charlotte is one of my best friends but she lives in England..." Edward replied "Oh..." Tarna replied "So we on a team?" Nash replied to her while checking her phone as it was an email about it "Yes, you and Charlotte on the same team as the other three will be a team together..." Tarna was ok with that and said "Alright... Is Charlotte coming down to join with the training or no?" Nash replied to her "Uh, yes, Ana called me and said that she and Charlotte and Bjorn are coming down next month as Ana gotten a gig over in Los Angeles and I offered to let Charlotte and Bjorn to stay with us while Ana has her gig." Edward now was confused and Mike said "Acting..." "Oh..."

It is March 2028, and Tarna and Charlotte have been training a lot since it is early March and only four months until the Olympics were coming and Tarna has been feeling very off for the last couple of days, which Charlotte had easily noticed and Charlotte said "Tarna, you alright?" Tarna replied "Yeah, just got a lot of things on my mind..." Charlotte smirked and said slightly teasing her "About your boyfriend?" Tarna smiled a bit and replied "Well, to be fair, Char, I wouldn't say he is my boyfriend but my fiancée." Charlotte laughed in her British accent and Tarna said "But, no, on that... I just feel... Eh..." Charlotte nodded and said to her "But you know you need to focus, Tarn..." Tarna groaned as she didn't want to hear it and said "I rather not hear it, Char..." Charlotte replied to her "Not gonna say it, but hey, at least you aren't pregnant like the news said last year..." Tarna nodded in agreement and they see Nash coming over with her current star filly, Colorado and said "Ah, there you two are..." Tarna asked her mother "Everything alright, Ima?" Nash replied "Remember when your Uncle went MIA last year?" Tarna nodded and Charlotte asked "Was he found at least?" Nash replied "Would you believe it that he was found back in Israel?" Tarna frowned and asked "Why was he back there?" Nash bit her lip and said "Well... Let's just say that Jasmine will kill him when he is anywhere near her..." Charlotte asked "... He did not cheat on Cousin Jasmine right...?" Nash was quiet and said "I rather not talk about it... Either he or Jasmine will explain it another time..." Tarna was feeling really off and Nash notices this but she had a funny feeling about Tarna and Nash asked her daughter "Where's the pain?" Tarna replied ignoring it "Just near my stomach, but I'm fine..." Charlotte said to her "Clearly not fine, you been really off most of the day, you like knocked over like 95% of the jumps today..." Nash growled as she figured what is throwing Tarna off and Nash said "I better take you to the bloody hospital..." Tarna replied to her "Or just make an doctor's appointment... I'm sure I'll be fine, ima..." Nash replied as they head back to the house "I doubt the Doctors will help you with the situation you most likely in..." Nash soon took Tarna to the hospital and the staff decided to do an ultrasound just in case and a doctor asked Tarna "Have you been to any appointments for the past 7 months?" Tarna was bothered at this question and Nash replied "I highly doubt it..." The doctor replied to Nash and Tarna "Miss Beli, you're in labour..." Tarna was in shock and said "Excuse me?!" Nash nodded as she figured this out as she groaned in annoyance as she saw this coming months ago and Nash said "I better call, Prince Edward about this..." Nash was legit about to leave but Tarna grabbed her and said "Mum! Please don't leave me! I don't know what the fuck I'm doing!" Nash could tell Tarna was freaking out and Nash said "Alright... Fine... But we need to call Edward, honey..." Tarna replied to him "Fine, but I don't you to leave me, please..." "I won't honey..." A couple of minutes later, Edward shows up at the hospital with his guards as he was being threatened lately and the nurse knew that Edward was here for Tarna and said "Sorry, Prince Edward, but she is currently in labour with her mother beside her..." Edward groaned in worry for Tarna as he also didn't know about this and already had questions about it and a couple hours later, Nash finally left Tarna with the doctors and Edward asked her "Is she alright?" Nash replied to him "You are lucky that I am not in my worse moods today... BUT she is fine..." Edward said to her while rubbing his neck "I'm guessing I'm in trouble?" Nash replied to him "Both of you are in trouble... Did you both think about the consequences?" Edward replied "Not really... I mean, we probably were..." Nash growled in annoyance and Edward asked "A boy or a girl?" Nash replied to him "A girl, very healthy baby girl... And no, you can't see them as the baby is being checked over and Tarna is recovering as she had some... Problems..." Edward asked now concerned "Is she actually ok?" Nash replied calmly "Well... She kinda passed out during it that doctors had to go for a C-Section instead of natural birth..." Edward said to her "I want to be with her... Please." Nash replied to him "No, because the doctors are just running tests just in case..." Edward growled in annoyance this time and barges into the room where Tarna was and the head doctor said to him not knowing who he is "Hey, you can't be back here!" Edward said to the doctor "Let me see her!" Nash comes in and could tell Edward was making a scene by accident and Nash said "That's my daughters, fiancée and the father of the baby!" The doctor looked at him and Nash added "That is Prince Edward, Doc..." The security lets go Edward so he could see her, Tarna just woken up but she was completely in pain from the surgery and Tarna sees Edward and Edward asked "You alright?" Tarna nodded a bit in pain and the doctor said "Miss Gap? You had a healthy baby girl." Tarna nodded as she is not really feel like talking as she kinda lost her voice from screaming in pain for hours and the doctor said calmly "You should be fine by the time the Olympics come in four months, but you need some bed rest before riding again, I say no riding until you feel ready for it." Nash overheard this and said "I would suggest not to ride again until May, it will give you some time to recover again... And no more damn sex..." Edward and Tarna pulled faces as they knew they were in trouble by Nashma Beli/Gap and Tarna said "Sorry Ima..." Nash growled in annoyance and said "I mean it... Both of you were basically underage back in June, Edward was 17 and you were 16. And you both knew for a good fact doing this basically gives Edward's mother what she wants." Tarna said to her mother "But mum... I wanted it... Well... Not the whole pregnancy thing... But I wanted to have sex... It's not like we expected to get pregnant that easily." Nash growled and said "I did, cause Charlotte is also pregnant from her and Fadar's messing around." Tarna was surprised and Nash said "She only came to me about it since her mother is overseas with another gig about two months ago. I had to call her mother, MY best friend, about her daughter at age 15, is pregnant with my son's kid." Tarna asked her "Why didn't Char mention this to me?" Nash replied "Because I told her not to tell anyone until she was sure what she wanted to do... Ana wants Charlotte to abort, which I wished I said that to you if I knew about the pregnancy. But Ana is giving Charlotte a chance to figure out what to do herself, but as far as I noticed, Charlotte seriously wants to have her baby..." The doctor cleared his throat and said "Anyways, Miss Gap, what would you want to name your baby girl?" Tarna wasn't sure and Edward really had no idea and Nash said to the doctor "Can we give them some time to talk about it, Doc?" The doctor replied "Of course, we will give you twenty-four hours to discuss it." The doctor left and Nash said to them "I better make some phone calls about things..." Nash left the room leaving Tarna and Edward in the room and Edward asked "How come you didn't tell me?" Tarna replied to him as she still progressing everything "Because I didn't know until my mum took me to the hospital..." Edward nodded and said to her "I mean, at least we don't have to worry about anything as we have a lot of money support for it." Tarna nodded and Edward said to her "Are you feeling alright?" Tarna nodded and said "I'm feeling alright for now... Just accepting the fact I was pregnant and I feel bad for our daughter since I did do a lot of stuff that you shouldn't be doing while pregnant..." Edward replied to her assuring her "She was born healthy, babe, that's a good news." Tarna nodded and asked "What should we name the baby?" Edward sat down to think and suggested "What about Catherine?" Tarna thought it was a nice name and Tarna said with a smile "I like Catherine, it's a nice name for her, even though we never seen her yet..." Nash comes in with a baby and said "Well... You can now..." Edward and Tarna looked up to see Nash holding a newborn baby and Nash said "The nurses said you both can now hold her after them running tests..." Nash hands the baby to Tarna who was still in shock about her having a baby but she was basically over the moon and Edward smiled seeing the baby and Tarna said to him "She actually does look like an Catherine..." Edward nodded kinda excited for everything for them.
Tarna and Edward were discharged from the hospital a month later and Tarna was already ready to go back into the saddle, which slightly bothers Nash but Nash decided not to push her daughter to listen to her but Nash did follow Tarna to the saddles and Nash asked "You sure you are ready to be back in the saddle? Especially after being on bed rest for a month..." Tarna nodded as she saddled her horse up "I'm sure, Ima... I know what I'm doing..." Nash nodded and said to her "I know, but I also know how it feels when having a baby and going back into the saddle... I have suggested not to get onto a horse until you have recovered." Tarna said to her mother "I know you are looking out for me, like you always do, but I'm fine... But how did feel when you got onto the saddle after having Alec?" Nash replied to her "Painful as fuck... And very uncomfortable... I regretted that right off the bat." Tarna was very curious to why her mother and Mike haven't had any more kids after Alec and Tarna asked "Are you and Abba gonna try again? For another baby?" Nash was very quiet hearing that question and said "We have been trying since Alec, but nothing, your father and I would like to have at least two more kids..." Tarna said confused "But you managed to get me and later Fadar and Kate, and you and dad got Alec pretty easy..." Nash shrugged and said "I know... But the doctors think that your father could have some fertility issues, Alec could be the last one we will have unless we want to through treatments on it. But we haven't really talked about it as your father is ashamed..." Tarna nodded understanding this now and said "I guess it makes sense..." Tarna sighed looking at her horse and Nash asked "You sure you are ready for it?" Tarna wasn't unsure about it and she stared at her horse and Nash said "Honey, if you not ready for it, it's fine, you don't have to rush..." Tarna nodded and said "Just... I don't know..." Nash nodded and said to her calmly "Why not we just start off easy and just look after your horses today, until you are ready to be in the saddle." Tarna sighed as she wanted to ride but didn't have the guts to do so and Nash said with a smile "Why not you help me check on some of the broodmares and foals?" Tarna asked her mother "Don't you usually do it with dad?" Nash nodded and said to her "Usually, but since your father is over in Dubai right now, I would like you to join me..." Tarna wasn't sure and said "Alright... How come?" Nash replied with a small smile "I think you will like what I will be showing you, that's all..." Tarna follows her mother down towards the broodmare barn and Tarna asked "Do you have any mare's that are in foal?" Nash replied with a smile "Oh yeah... But it's a surprise... One of the stablehands sent me a text about a special lineage having a foal..." Tarna looked confused as they see a few stablehands around a stall and they walked over to the stall to a bay mare who was on her side and Tarna looked at the stall plate to learn it's Colorado's mother, Peace Spoony, Nash goes into the stall and the mare gives a big snort to Nash and Tarna watches as her mother slowly goes towards the mare and Tarna asked her mother "Who's the sire of the baby, Ima?" The stablehand replied to the question "Flightline." Tarna thought for a moment and they hear the mare snorting loudly but soon they see some legs and Nash said to one of the stablehands "Instead of staring at the mare, help me out..." The stablehands go into the stall to help Peace and soon, the mare gave birth to a healthy colt and Nash said to Tarna "You want to check out the colt, Tarn?" Tarna was surprised on the request and Tarna comes into the stable and the colt was trying to stand up which impresses Tarna pretty quickly and Tarna asked her mother "Why did you ask me to come to watch the foal?" Nash replied as the stablehands went back to work as they watched the colt being curiously "Mainly want you to learn something from this... Spoony just had a foal, just like you had a baby, correct?" Tarna nodded and Nash said to her "Now imagine the colt is basically a horse you want to ride... And imagine Spoony is you... So the colt is basically ready to do whatever you want to do... Right now, he wants his first feed..." Tarna nodded watching the colt and Tarna said "But Spoony isn't up yet..." Nash nodded and said "And that is basically you, you just had your first baby, and right now, Spoony is just taking her own time to be ready to get up after foaling her 7th foal... Just like how you aren't ready to get onto a horse..." Spoony finally stands up and lets her colt start nursing and Tarna said "So you are saying is basically take my own time until I'm ready?" Nash nodded as they left the stall and said "Exactly... I know you want to get back in the saddle because of the Olympics coming up in three months but you need to take your time..." Tarna sighed in worry and said "I just want to be prepared, Ima... America is depending on us..." Nash replied to her calmly "Honey, just enjoy it, alright? It's not like it's the end of the world. Hell, your father and I enjoy our races that we don't really care about winning... America may be depending on you, but it's just something for fun that later became competitive. No one won't be disappointed, expect the haters but my point is, no one isn't forcing you two to win with your horses, alright?" Tarna nodded and said "Thanks ima... I really needed to hear that..." Nash was mainly thinking on something and Tarna asked "You alright mum?" Nash replied to her "Just got something on my mind..." "Like what?" Nash bit her lip not wanting to even mention this and Tarna said "Ok, you need to tell me with how you are biting your lip..." Nash really didn't want to say it but said "You know how most breeders sometimes accidentally breeding siblings in horses?" Tarna really didn't like this talk already and Tarna said "Yeah?" Nash replied "Well... don't tell Charlotte this... But..." Tarna said to her "I feel like I shouldn't have asked about this question..." Nash said to her "Remember when Mike and I had to take Kate to multiple doctors two years ago?" Tarna was now a bit concerned and asked "Please don't tell me..." Nash said to her "She and Fadar may have did some naughtiness..." Tarna said to her "I seriously hope they didn't get pregnant with that..." Nash again bit her lip and Tarna figured they did and Nash said "Sadly... We didn't catch it in time... So we put that child up for adoption..." Tarna said to her "I don't even want to think about it... That is fucking wrong... I'm glad they didn't had twins or something... Why doesn't Charlotte know?!" Nash replied to her "Because she and Fadar are dating and he already feels bad what he and Kate did and he hopes that no one will ever know." Tarna said to her "But this other baby might show up on the door asking for its parents!" Nash said to her "The doctor said it's unlikely the child will even survive to it's 5th birthday, so it's unlikely on that." Tarna grunted now clearly bothered on hearing this and asked "Why the fuck were they doing it in the first place?" Nash replied to her "Fun, I guess... Why you and Edward did yours in the first place?" Tarna replied to her "Uh... I rather not answer that one..." Nash replied to her "Exactly... So do not mention this to Charlotte or anyone..." Tarna nodded and they suddenly see a chestnut horse running past the Broodmare barn and Tarna asked "Was that Autumn?" Nash looked at the chestnut horse that ran past and said "Ah, no... That would be Royal Secret... One of the newer colts..." Nash and Tarna rushed after the Chestnut colt and see him standing next to another colt which was a grey colt and Nash said "Ah, no wonder... He wanted Shadow... I think the stable hands got confused with some other colt..." Tarna asked confused "What kind of other colt they would have used?" Nash replied to her "I think they got confused and grabbed Dappled instead of Shadow... They don't always check the horses..." Tarna nodded and sees an empty stall and it was closed but when Tarna looked into it she sees a bay horse sleeping and asked "Who's this?" Nash replied to her "Ah, I don't remember, Mike or Ana brought that horse last year... A failing racer but they have confidence in it, but I haven't checked him out yet..." Tarna looked at the horse and said "He kinda looks super lazy..." Nash looked at the horse and sees what she meant and said "Yeah, he likes to sleep..." Nash looked at his folder that they have and said "Uh, it's Breakaway... By American Pharoah out of an Firing Line mare..." Tarna looked at him and sees the colt eating while sleeping and Tarna said "He may be lazy but he is smart..." Nash looked at his training schedule and said "You know what, I might as well take him out and try him... Want to watch him?" Tarna nodded and helps her mother get the colt to stand up and get tacked up and Nash got onto the colt who was a bit small than most four year olds she rides and Tarna asked "You ok, mum?" Nash nodded and said "Just never ridden a horse this small... Can you give me his folder?" Tarna nodded and passed the folder and Nash looked into his file and said "Ah... Makes sense... He is flipping only 14.1 hands tall... He just barely gone over the height for a horse..." Tarna nodded and said "Did he get it from his parents?" Nash shook her head as she handed the folder back as they get to the track and Nash wasn't sure what the colt could do as they get onto the dirt track and Tarna sits down as she watches her mother go around the track and Edward showed up with baby Catherine and Edward asked "I thought you were going onto your horses today?" Tarna was ashamed but replied "I was but I couldn't... So mum told me to take my time... So been a bit busy this morning..." Edward looked out to see Nash on a horse and asked "What you doing?" "Mum is trying out a colt that dad or Ana brought last year..." Nash was slightly struggling to control the colt as he was basically refusing to do what he as being asked which was bothering Nash a lot and soon around the corner, was another horse that was doing it's workout which was Autumn and the colt suddenly started speeding up which shocks Nash as she nearly fell out of the saddle as the colt jolted forward speeding up to catch up to Autumn who wasn't even on a full gallop at the moment and the colt already passed Autumn and Tarna said "I never seen a small horse ran so damn fast..." Edward was impressed and asked "Is it one of her two year olds?" Tarna replied "Nope, a four year old..." Edward looked stunned and said "That's a four year old?" Tarna nodded as they watched as Nash brought the colt back towards them and Nash said "Hey Edward, everything alright?" Edward nodded and Tarna said to her mother "Looks like you got a good dirt horse mum..." Nash nodded and said "Nearly fell off from it... Can you put in the notes as 'will get competitive if behind other horses'?" Tarna nodded and did so for her and Edward asked "You gonna ride him, Mrs Gap?" Nash shook her head as she got off of him "Nope, I got Colorado to ride this year and a few other turf horses, Mike also said he was going to ride him but wanted me to test ride him first." Edward nodded and asked her "What you think on Colorado's chances in the 1000 Guineas?" Tarna said to Edward "I think mum entered Colorado in the 2000 Guineas, honey." Edward surprised and Nash said "Yep, she is entered in the 2000 Guineas as she has doing really well against boys and girls so I didn't see why not she couldn't enter in the race." Tarna asked "Do you think she will do fine, mum?" Nash shrugged and said to her "Probably. Only Colorado will tell us on Raceday..." Tarna watched as her mother got off the small horse and Nash asked "Your family going to the Guineas this year, Edward?" Edward nodded and said "Yep, they got a colt running on that day I believe. I've been invited to join them to watch them this year... That when I'm going back to England to start my duties as future king..." Tarna asked him a bit worried "What about the threats?" Edward replied to her "Sadly, I have to deal with them... They just upset that I am the next king instead of the older men in my family." Nash asked him "What about Tarna and Catherine? Are they coming with you?" Edward replied to her "Sadly, no... Despite, Tarna being the future Queen, and Catherine being my daughter. The rules state that only married couples can move into the palace basically... And plus, Tarna is still underage so I rather wait until next year..." Nash asked confused "What you mean by next year?" Edward replied to her "Nothing to worry about, Mrs Gap." Nash frowned about it and Nash walked off and Tarna asked "Everything alright, love?" Edward replied while handing Catherine to Tarna "Kinda... My grandmother isn't very well so I have to go back to England tomorrow..." Tarna looked shocked and said "Tomorrow?" Edward replied to her calmly "It's only for a couple of days, I will be back before you know it." Tarna looked at her mother as she dismounted the horse and asked "When did Ana get into the racing industry?" Nash replied as she pulls the strips up "Late last year... The four year old is her oldest horse... We brought a few horses for her during the November Sales and also gave her some right to some of our horses, including Colorado and Lovely... But then, she always had rights to Lovely since she was born..." Edward asked her curious "Do you ever want to ride for my family, Mrs Gap?" Nash frowned as she rather not after all the years and said "Listen, Edward, I like you... But after what happened over the years, I rather not... I rather die at a race over working for your family..." Edward kinda looked hurt but he did understand where Nash was coming from and Nash said to him "You may think your parents aren't that bad, but you need to remember that your mother is a evil piece of crap... And so fucking rude towards anyone in a lower class than her, she mainly hates me because I was a bloody child when she finally met Tarna's mother..." Edward replied to her "I'm sure she likes you..." Nash frowned and said to her "Pretty sure last time I saw her was last month and she called me a fucking slut that can't keep my legs closed..." Edward felt bad and said to her "She is usually nice to most people..." Tarna said to him not really agreeing to him "She's not, honey... She legit told me off about putting my career first over being a queen... When I had no interest in being that... Hell, she even had the nerve to tell the officials that I was a murderer and shit two months ago..." Edward sighed and Tarna said to her "Honey... I know she is your mother, but she has no heart to anyone like to my own family and me... And I rather not go until your mother's problem is dealt with..." Edward sighed and said calmly "I understand, Tee..." Suddenly they hear a phone ring and Nash grabs her phone to realize it wasn't her racing phone and Nash frowned and grabbed her personal phone and it wasn't it and Tarna asked "How phones you got, Ima?" Nash mumbled while grabbing another two phones "Too many..." Nash looked at her other two phones and sees it was her old phone and Nash answered in annoyance "Uh, hello?" Nash listened for a bit and Nash said on the phone "Listen, I rather not get into..." Nash went quiet listening to the person the phone and frowned as she learns about something and said "I have to call you back... But thank you..." Nash hangs up and Tarna asked "Is everything alright, mum?" Nash replied handing the reins to Tarna "Yeah, I have to do something... I need you to cool that horse off and look after your siblings for a bit until your father comes home..." Nash storms off looking very pissed and Tarna said to Edward "I haven't seen her this pissed since... Well... Before Catherine was born..."
