🧸 Sick - Ni-ki x Everyone

As Ni-ki woke up in the morning, he definitely knew that SOMETHING was wrong.

His throat was raw and it hurt, his stomach was cramping, his head was throbbing, and he felt really exhausted.

"Hyung," He called out to anyone.

Jungwon was in the room, brushing his hair. He turned around and smiled, "Morning, baby, how are you?" He asked.

"Not good." Ni-ki whispered, it was hard for him to speak normally.

Jungwon looked concerned as he put the hairbrush down and walked to Ni-ki. "I told you not to go out in the rain to save that stupid cat yesterday," He scolded.

Ni-ki wanted to argue but he knew better than to argue with Jungwon. But Ni-ki could not just watch as the the poor little cat was about to get crushed by a car, it's good that he rushed out to help.

Ni-ki bit his lip and looked down. "Sorry." He quietly muttered. Jungwon softened. "Ah don't apologise, it's okay baby." Jungwon said he put a hand on Ni-ki's forehead and almost immediately recoiled.

"Shit, you're burning up," He said worriedly. "I'll go get Jay hyung to check your temperature, stay here." He rushed out of the room.

Ni-ki blinked after him, usually he would joke and be sassy about how he was obviously going to stay here but he felt too sick to argue.

When he was sick, he was sensitive, and that really annoyed him a lot.

After a while, Jay came into the room. "Ni-ki, open your mouth so I can check your temperate." He said as he put a thermometer in his mouth.

"Oh no...it's way higher than it should be, do you feel sore somewhere?" Jay asked worriedly as he hugged Ni-ki.

"My head hurts and my throat." Ni-ki whined. Jay sighed, "We told you not to go out in the rain." He said as he helped Ni-ki sit up.

Sunoo entered the room, obviously having heard of how sick Ni-ki was. Sunoo bit his lip at how weak he was looking. "Just relax, Ni-ki ah, we'll take care of you." He said as he gave Ni-ki a glass of water.

After a while, Jake entered the room with Sunghoon. "Don't worry Ni-ki, you'll be fine soon." Jake grinned at him as he handed him a controller.

Sunghoon then frowned. "Didn't Jay say to not play anything until Ni-ki gets better?" He said with a raised eyebrow.

Jake laughed and nudged Sunghoon. "Don't worry, Hoon, it won't kill Ni-ki." He said as he gave Sunghoon a controller too before taking one himself.

Ni-ki couldn't help but grin at how Jake was so chill. Sunghoon rolled his eyes. "I swear, if he get a head ache or something, I'll tell Jay it was because of you."

And Sunghoon was still being the strict hyung.

The hyungs were looking after him for ages. Except for Heeseung who was out the whole day because of some work he had to do on his part of the comeback.

But when he came home, the first thing he did was go to Ni-ki. "Ni-ki, you okay baby?" He asked as he sat next to him in the bed.

Ni-ki sighed. "Better than before." He said with a tight smile. Heeseung hugged him and ruffled his hair. "Did those idiots take care of you?" He joked. Ni-ki laughed. "Yeah," He said with a smile.

"That's good, you managed to survive without me." He said with a teasing smile. Ni-ki rolled his eyes but couldn't help the grin on his face.

As Ni-ki fell asleep next to Heeseung, he knew that his hyungs were always there for him, through the bad and the good.

And he also knew that he would never stop saving cats in the middle of the night anytime soon, no matter how much his hyungs scolded him.
