The phone rang, but it wasn't mine. I slowly opened my eyes, I felt some weight on me. I looked down to see Hailee laying on top of me, strands of her hair on my face.

I watched her sleep peacefully on top of me, I admired her, how someone could be so beautiful without even trying. I like her so much, but I need to see if she likes me. I don't want to ruin friendship we built now.

I took her phone from the coffee table next to me and saw that Flo had called, I took my phone.

I sent her a message that Hailee is fine and if she wants she can come later when Hailee wakes up.

I put the phone back and watched her sleep for a few more minutes.

"You know it's not nice to stare at someone." She said in a sleepy voice.

"I wasn't staring, I was admiring you and your beauty, Ljubavi(Love)."

I felt her smile on my chest.

"Go get ready in the bathroom, I'll leave some things on the bed if you want to take a bath. The towels are on the shelf in the bathroom by the shower.
I'll go downstairs to the bathroom, when you're ready come downstairs. One question, what are you going to eat for breakfast?"

I asked her before leaving the room.

"I don't care, you decide."

"DE ACUERDO!(okay)"

I said from the stairs as I came down.

I made eggs and avocado toast for breakfast. As I was preparing coffee for the two of us, I heard footsteps in the background.

I turned around to see Hailee in my hoodie that was too big for her, but she still looked adorable.

I smiled and pulled out a chair for her to sit down, as she sat down I pulled the chair towards the table.

I took the coffee, put it on the table and sat next to her. The radio was playing in the background and one of my songs with Shakira came on.

"You know your songs are too good, I think I'll only know when the text is published and I translate it. Because I don't understand what you're singing like this, I should take Spanish lessons."

"I can teach you but it would take us more time."

"That would be wonderful. But I wanted to thank you for yesterday. You did what no one but my family and Flo would ever do. And for that, I thank you. If there is any way I can make it up to you, just tell me."

"Corazón, relax I did something any normal person would do."

"That's the thing, there aren't that many normal people. How about I take you out to dinner tomorrow night. Today if we can finish the duet."

"Okay. But I'm paying, I have something to celebrate."

"What?"

"I'm number one on the singer's net worth ranking list."

"Wait what!?! Congratulations. I didn't know, I don't watch it that often."

She came and hugged me, I hugged her back. She kissed me on the cheek, then we realized that we were too close. Her arms around my neck and mine around her waist. We quickly separated and returned to our seats.

"Thanks for the congratulations."

We finished breakfast and headed for the living room, but the doorbell rang.

I went to open the door and see who it was. As I opened the door I saw Flo running towards me like the night I got home.

I caught her again only this time shorter because she was screaming in my ear.

"Sister, I'm a musician, I need ears."

I could see her whole face now, she looked very happy and excited.

"Ha ha very funny. Where's Hailee, I need to talk to you both." She said jumping up and down.

"She is in the living room, we just had breakfast." I told her looking at her confused.
